Hotel is in a great location close to the beach. Communal areas are all very clean. Staff efficient and helpful especially the wonderful Hila. Trip was a belated 21st birthday gift for my daughter. Hila arranged a room upgrade plus some sweet treats for her. Our original room was spacious but furniture a little dated. The new room was very modern with a great view of beautiful Tel Aviv beach. If budget allows I would recommend an executive room. Breakfast both days was plentiful and varied. Dining room very clean and Staff attentive. Swimming pool and decking area very clean with an endless supply of towels and plenty of sunbeds. Hotel offers great value and is located in a central position. This is our third visit and we will stay again. Staff friendly and helpful with a special mention to Hila who went that extra mile to make our visit special

Everything was outstanding; friendly, helpful staff, everything was clean and fresh. The hotel is within a very short walk to the beach, great restaurants and more. This was my second stay at the Metropolitan and if I’m in Tel Aviv again it will definitely be my first choice. Also, the breakfast buffet is amazing. There is a great variety of delicious food and it’s served beautifully. (I’m not being paid for this review. I just want to share my good experience).

location is excellent and we where upgraded to a suite as a booking.com client. the staff is very welcoming and specially Hila from customer relation . the bed was very good, the room quiet and clean. breakfast was great with a lot of hot and cold choices. overall enjoyable stay.

While hotel on side street is good location to beach and rest of city, the Immediate neighborhood around the corner on Ben Yehuda street going down hill, partly do to: 1) construction on light rail; 2) empty buildings; 3) not enough street lights so didn't feel safe at night; 4) too many motor bikes on side walk.

the accommodation is super close to the beach. very nice service, especially the night duty manager Ahmed Mashhawari who helped us with a lot of things. We will definitely recommend this hotel!

Overall it was great. One thing we LOVED was for an extra 150 shekels we were able to have a late checkout and were able to stay in the room until 8pm. we had a 1am flight so this was fabulous for us. The location is also good. We were able to walk to most places.

The rooms were a little bit dated. I also found that the depth of the bathtub made it difficult to get in and out to shower. The tub is very deep because it’s a Jacuzzi style tub with jets. For people with mobility issues I would ask if there is a handicap accessible room that doesn’t have such a deep tub. I don’t have mobility issues and found it a little daunting to get in and out of the tub.

We stayed for 6 days in metropolitan hotel with my friend - in separate rooms. We had to move rooms on the second day of our stay due to some repairs and there were some discomfortable misunderstandings around this. But they upgraded us to bigger rooms and we got a free breakfast which was very tasty and got a good selection of fresh food. Ronit from the reception took a good care of us from this point , and we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located very close to the beach and it was easy to walk everywhere.

Rooms were a bit noisy. The hassle around having to move rooms but got all super good after that.
