Location, location!! The beach is right across the street which is awesome! The hotel is also right next to a pharmacy, a gelato shop and many restaurants. Old town Alghero is about a 20 minute walk down the road or a quick bus ride. We loved the AC that ran nice and cold which was lovely when you walk in the door. Room was clean and well equipped and the front desk was very friendly with lots of great tips!

We found the beds to be very uncomfortable but most hotel beds in Europe are this way. We were also very disappointed that the pool was completely drained and unusable. We were not aware of this when we booked the room. And the staff is very friendly but they only clean the room and bring clean towels upon request or if you are staying a week or more. I also recommend bringing extra bags to put garbage in because there was only one tiny garbage can in the bathroom.

The apartments were in an ideal location for us as they were across the road from the beach and very close to a well stocked supermarket. There was a pharmacy on the ground floor of the building and a very nice bar and restaurant alongside. We had a car/scooter/bicycle rental office just around the corner on the way to the supermarket and it was a pleasant 12 minute walk up to the old town along the promenade.

The beach which we used Lido Beach had a lot of dried seaweed just above the shore line so it didn't look pristine. We were there in May so I'd say it was at the start of their summer season and it appeared that there was a cleanup in operation to rectify this.

My wife and I stayed a week,we stayed in the two bedroom apartment, really good apartment plenty of room , air conditioning very good aven though didn't need it much to be honest. Very clean , beds comfortable , only across the street from a lovely beach, and a 10 minute walk from the old town. We arrived late but check in very simple out of hours, all no bother. Swimming pool and a place to sunbathe were grand, but the beach so close and clean swam there only. A hundred yards or two down the street you could get cocktails for 5 euro in Magic Beach Bar, really good value. The receptionist Anabelle was so helpful and Great beach view , nice balcony

A bit noisy at night with nearly bars, but the view really good of the sea, could get a quiet apartment with view over the swimming pool instead .

Fantastic location - 20 min walk from the historical center - 10 min walk from bus stop from/to airport - 5 min from supermarket - 1 min from the nearest beach (20 min from Spiaggia Maria Pia) Nice view over the sea and town center. Comfy beds. Very clean. Spacious bedroom. Plenty storage. Super friendly staff at reception. Clean towels handed in mid-stay. Great pool - supervised, always a few inflatables and toys left behind for the kiddies to play with. Efficient air-conditioning.

Noisy above the restaurant, opened early til late. No pans, only 2 pots.

The pool is a good size and despite some badly behaved children and negligent parents, it was possible to swim most of the time. Buganvillea is very close to the beach and several really good beach bars and restaurants so no need to walk into town every evening. Having gas as well as electric hobs in the kitchen was useful. Beautiful sunsets!

The opening and closing hours for the pool seemed unnecessarily restrictive - closing at 1pm for the pool attendant's lunch and not opening till 2.30pm, then closing again at 6.30pm. One day during our stay, it rained until early afternoon so the pool was closed for the whole day. Seems a waste.

We had a family room, for a very reasonable price, capturing 6 people, enjoying spacious balcony to both sides of the hotel (sea view / pool view). you are located literally at the beach, there are restaurants all around, you can buy awesome ice-cream downstairs, rent a car or go to grocery (100metres far). Bus stop to city center or airport is right next to hotel...but i'd recommend you use the promenade to walk to downtown. We were 10 people visiting Sardegna and even to this facility we really enjoyed our stay,

As there are bars/restaurants around, count with a noisy nights as well as with noisy mornings (guys supplying restaurants in early morning hours really do not care if people sleeping around). Water in the hotel pool is fresh like mentos...seems like coming straight from the pipe (i know, cold water is so relative - i am sure there are people enjoying it, nut i prefer cold beer over cold pool water) :-P When going to the beach, do walk 100-200 meters further along the shore (whatever direction) as you might smell something like sever smell on the beach closest to you. Just walk further to avoid it.

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with all windows and terrace overlooking the beach. Comfortable beds and other furniture, well-equipped kitchen. We could check in early at no extra cost, receptionists were all friendly and service-oriented. City centre is a leisurely 30 minute walk, park with beach 15 minutes in the other direction. We used street parking (otherwise the residence charges 10 euros/day).

This is not the resicence's fault but we found that beaches in Alghero are not in top condition in March. They looked good in summer photos though.

Good location, easy access to many beaches, short distance to Airport bus, supermarkets and restaurants, reasonably priced, aircon, spacious.

Bad bed quality, left us with back pain after 5 nights. On ad photos there was large fridge and we only got a really small one, kitchen utensils: could do with some more as there was no spatula for cooking neither one for turning eggs, there was no handsoap, we only got few mini body&hair gels. Pool was really cold at the end of september and also had very limited opening hours and was locked outside of those times.

The location was good. Straight across the road from the beach and there is a good supermarket just around the corner. It is about a 20 minute walk into town. There is a bus stop just across the road but I don't know how regular the buses are. You can buy tickets for the bus in the tobacconist and they cost one euro. They also sell them at reception. The only thing is the street is one way into town so I don't know where the return bus stop is. I'm sure they could tell you at reception. There was a good restaurant called Alguermia on the next street up from the apartments. We went there a few times. I think we were possibly there too early in the season as there was a lot of preparation been done to setting up the bars and restaurants on the beach and they were opening a new restaurant downstairs which was still not ready by the time we left. The pool in the building didn't open until the 15th of May but I was aware of that before I went. I prefer the beach. When the pool was opened it was well maintained by the lifeguard on duty. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The wifi was also very good. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend a stay here.

There was nothing I didn't like about the apartments. We were on the top floor so the balcony was dirty from the birds flying overhead. It would have been nice if this has been cleaned.
