The location is very beautiful and nicely maintained, breakfast and bistro/bar food is delicious

It would be great if stuff take more time to show the property and explain how everything works. They just showed us the room. In the evening the access to the hotel (that was open during the day) from the sea side was closed. And no one from the stuff mentioned before how to get back there or told us about opening hour of the sea side gate. It took time to find a closed door and small bell in the darkness. Same way no explanation about changing rooms at the pool. No place to dry your swimsuits

Great location with oasis of green around charming eco-pool, plus of course right on sea front with direct access. great views and reasonably quiet. Good room decor, good breakfast, very helpful staff. Restaurant on terrace had splendid view and interesting, slightly fussy but fairly priced, food.

Room (classic) slightly small. Exit routes toward public beach with its restaurants are not clear. Staff said only remote (and dark) access gate was open for residents via an entry-phone at night, whereas a much closer gate actually left open all the time but signed not available to residents. No-one stopped us, or other guests, using it but management should get messages right. Alternative (asphalt) route good for cars but too long for casual stroll.

We loved the location, facilities and ambience. Just sorry we could only stay one day as it was a short stop over on our travel to the north of Italy. The access to the electric car charger was another reason we booked the place as it made it very convenient not to have to hunt around for a charging place outside the hotel. An amazing room, excellent breakfast and the breathtaking location made this stay memorable . We will tell our friends about this place for sure

Great in every way for relaxation in the garden or the pool or if you want to swim in the ocean, just 50 m away. The fortress itself is amazing. Good breakfast and for those who want to experience what Italy has to offer in food from the ocean, I highly recommend dinner at the restaurant on the terrace overlooking the sea. Perfect resipe for beautiful and romantic date.

Beautiful location. We stayed for 1 night only when travelling down the east coast. We wish we'd had chance to stay for longer! The room was fascinating and we felt like we were transported back in time. We would definitely recommend dinner at the Fort. The seafood restaurant had the most exquisite menu which we thoroughly enjoyed. You can access the sea direct from the pool terrace and we saw a few guests snorkeling. The breakfast was served on the terrace and again was brilliant. Highly recommend this hotel.

If you like all white minimalist interior this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is slightly dated in style but personally this added to the italian charm and chance to stay in an old fort. The service was impeccable.

Location was great, perfect for access to both beaches and best local restaurants.

Hotel restaurant only offered expensive cordon bleu food, a 2 course meal with one glass of wine for 2 people was circa 100 euros. Early May is very quiet. This hotel would be at its best in June to September when its extensive outside space would be great for eating/drinking resting

Full of history and stunning location. We were delayed by 10 hours due to the A1 been closed but were met at 2 am , Room was stunning and great breakfast. Our only niggle was that we did not arrive on time to be able to have an evening meal. We will have to return to be able to do this. Lovely surroundings and enjoyed our brief stay

An absolutely fabulous building steeped in history just far enough from the main track to be secluded (I visited off season); with easy parking, a fantastic rocky beach and great running / walking on the door step. Amazing staff with a great restaurant too.

It’s unusual to stay in a historic fort, and fun. They upgraded us to the Napoleon Suite, which obviously was great. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant; it’s fine dining. The breakfast buffet was very good. There is free parking. When you book they send you a confirmation that warns about noise due to the fact that it is an old fort.

This weekend stay has exceeded my expectations. I am ashamed that I didn’t know this area and thought Marche didn’t have a beautiful sea. This instead compares with some of the best places in Italy. This hotel has an area with sunbeds, a bar a restaurant a wood and a pool basically on the beach. Even a small pier to avoid walking on the rocks while going to sea was a great help. The hotel is very beautiful and retains many features of the original fort. The staff a very competent and helpful. I loved the breakfast; lunch on the beach today was also very good. They don’t have many vegetarian dishes but they can accommodate and they did for me. I will be back

I like everything..if I have to find one small thing, I would swap the industrial jams for local organic ones .. but the choice is so big and high in quality that this is not even a criticism
