It is a special place with a special aura created by historical events, legends, nature, owners, morning chants from St. Damiano church, bells and a concert of cicadas. Unforgetable panorama to Assisi and olive garden... The owners have an innate sense of aesthetics and hospitality that they bring to everyone who arrives. The most delicious, prepared with love, breakfast in the world and the names of the rooms after St. Francis hymn. "Sister Water" was the space that became my home. I came here after Mom's funeral. "Sorrela Aqua" and all the staff fulfilled our unfulfilled dream, and allowed for a moment to beautify what was lost forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We used this accommodation for 3 nights and were completely satisfied with the location, the surroundings and the absolutely exclusive location in close proximity to small church of San Damiano with a monastery. The hosts were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were really tasty and the staff took care of us as if we were visiting their family. We really appreciated the fact that we were accommodated approx. 15 minutes' walk from the historic center and at the same time we were in a completely quiet and beautiful place in nature. We warmly recommend it to everyone with the same requirements for a place and conditions

Everything was perfectly fine.

What a marvelous place to stay! The sunsets, the breakfast, the olive tree groves, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated rooms - I could have stayed there forever. What makes the soul of this place though are the 2 super kind and positive ladies who are always there to help and share a good laugh. 15 min walking distance to center of Assisi and just 2 minutes from St. Damiano monastery. Definitely recommend. P.S. a pool was being built when I was there and will be ready for the summer of 2023.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. Amazing location in the heart of Umbria,. Breathtaking, heavenly surroundings. Unspoilt countryside.Peaceful and restful. Beautiful,clean, private pool. Beautiful , friendly staff. Hard working, helpful. Nothing was a bother. Drove us freely to the airport to pick up and drop off hire car.

Great value for money, lovely host. Very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast (finally I ate a delicious whole wheat bread in Assisi. The breakfast room is so charming, loved it! Location is great if you like silence, nature, San Damiano ( for me, it’s the second best place for meditation in Assisi). Be aware of steep uphill to walk into Assisi walled city. Also steep stairs to enter some rooms.

Excellent location just outside the old center of Assisi, but you need a car unless you don't mind a longer walk to the city. Really wonderful breakfast conform the choice you make in advance !

There is no fridge in the room and this would be very appreciated because there is no hotelbar with fresh drinks. On arrival the host tried to offer us a small room on the upper floor while we had booked a more spacious room with direct access to the garden. After we said not to accept this, the booked room was suddenly available.

Everything about this place was perfect. Lovely hosts, beautiful location and a pool to cool off in during the hot afternoons. The view from my room was incredible and the breakfast amazing as well. It’s also just a short walk into Assisi (with some breaks along the path to admire the scenery - it’s a bit of a climb to get into town).

The position of the accommodation was amazing with fabulous views and its. close proximity to St Damiano's Monastery. The staff were extremely helpful and caring, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing.

We loved everything about the accommodation but be prepared if you walk to Assisi it is very steep with a lot of steps.

Suitable location to people prefer a quiet stay near to San Damiano Great view of the green & beautiful Assisi!

everything was better than i imagined. the room was neat, everything clean, the bed was confortable and the breakfast is the best i had in my trip in Italy. they were very sweet and caring and made us feel like home. 100% would recommend and definitely will be coming back ! 💖
