The Asisium is a great hotel in a great location. It's right in the heart of Assisi so it's close to everything you want to see and do. The staff is wonderful and willing to help with anything you need. There's a small refrigerator in the room, stocked with some water, pop and juice. There was a full breakfast every morning and the food was delicious. Great way to start the day!

There wasn't anything I didn't like, but there were a few things to be aware of. There is no elevator. We were originally on the third floor but requested to be moved to the first floor after the first day. They accommodated us without any issues but if the hotel is full and you don't feel like you can walk up a lot of stairs you should request a room on the first floor at booking. The room was small. I would pay a little extra to get a bigger room. Our friends had a large room with an outside balcony. It was wonderful. On the other hand, Assisi will wear you out so our room, even though small, had everything we needed after a long day to get a good nights sleep.

The breakfast was the best we had at any of the places we stayed in Italy. The staff is very accommodating and just wonderful people. The bathrooms are huge and the shower area is massive for Europe. This is a fully remodeled place and clearly a boutique hotel. The location is in the heart of the city and just steps away from the main piazza.

There are no laundry facilities anywhere in Assisi proper. This is not a fault of the hotel. None of the hotel properties I checked had laundry facilities and there are no laundramats.

The staff was very nice and helpful! Given we were there for Christmas they helped with reservations at the restaurant and helped with other questions. Ana was especially helpful! She spoke good English and was very kind to us:-) The room was nice and had a good view. You can tell the hotel was recently renovated in 2020. The location is excellent, just at the end of the street at the center of town. Because of the location we were able to drop of baggage before parking near by. Thank goodness! Assisi is a spiritual and magical place for Christmas- we are very greatful we had a wonderful hotel to stay at.

We were on the 3rd floor so a lot of stairs. I would recommend asking for a lower if you are unable to do a lot of stairs. The bed was hard but all beds in Italian hotel seem to be hard:-/

Great location, good size room for us and our luggage! Lovely view outside bedroom window. Good shower. lots of hot water and lovely toilettries.

Not in main hotel (a short walk away). lots of steps to get to the room. No main mirror and the fixtures were somewhat slapdash (ie toilet roll holder not properly affixed to wall). the communal area on the ground floor was not very inviting so we sat in our room for our pre dinner drinks etc instead.

The location is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the “dependenza” (annex) on the top floor, where we even had a fantastic view of the Umbrian landscape. We extremely liked the combination of old and new. The minimalistic, modern furniture in the centuries old building is exactly how we would furnish the place, if it belonged to us. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

nothing. we stayed in the apartment 50 meters from the hotel was amazing and the building was full of character but the apartment was modern and clean. just to say the bathroom smelt fausty and had to keep door open to air the smell out.

We had the best room - a corner room with amazing views. Newly updated, modern interior. Right next to a church, but it was quiet. Great location.

There’s no lift - it wasn’t a problem for us, but if you can’t handle stairs, stay somewhere else. It’s a historic building from 1200 which is why there’s no elevator. Tip: the travel agent next door was very helpful.

Very clean and great location with a fabulous shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was superb. Staff were really pleasant and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us.

We were in the Annex which we knew when booking. While it is very quiet, clean and close to the hotel I think I would stay in the hotel if I was to book again.

The stairs are too high, there is no elevator, we got rooms on different floors, even though we booked adjoining rooms, there are no cosmetics in the shower. There is no lobby. There is no place to sit. Very small rooms. Condescending attitude of some of the staff

quit noisy, too many not -so -boutique details: (messy breakfast with sticky eggs old bread and unripe fruit). stench in cloth closet. no coffee capsules (refill), vsand a whole page of a sticky brochure in the room adressering the
