In MELO 48 everything was perfect. Room was very very clean. The bathroom, which in most accommodations is a difficult topic because there is always something wrong with it, here was perfect, very clean and beautiful. Even shower didn't have water stains which are always visible in other accommodations. The host was so helpful and kind that it's beyond words. She didn't mind our late accommodation because we were at the apartament around 10:00 PM and on the day of flight back she stored our luggage so we didn't have to carry it with us throughout whole day. One of our the best accommodations ever 11/10!

There was no any downside.

Fantastic place in every respect : ideal location : close to the train station, close to the sea, close to the Old Town . Cleanliness at the highest level Service : not only very nice, but also perfect The downside is certainly the outside windows (built in balcony) with milk glass which may not be very comfortable during a long stay . And you should definitely think about equipping your room with plates. Overall, however, we are very satisfied with our stay.

We stayed at Mela 48 apartments for 5 nights. The apartment is conveniently located near old town, main shopping street Via Sparano and Margherita Theatre. You can walk to Bari Central Station if you need to. The owner did everything to make his guests feel comfortable. The apartment was brand new with a fully equipped kitchen, balcony and modern bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were soft and silky, cleaning was done every day. There were always bottles of water in the refrigerator, and tea, coffee and sugar were replenished daily. WiFi was working fine. The owner was kind and helpful, and gave us some tips on where to get the best pizza in town, focaccia and panzerrotti. All in all, we had a great stay and highly recommend this place!

The appartments are placed in a very good strategic point, close to both modern and old city centers, shops, bus stations and central train station, we could easily get to the main beaches and other towns such as Pogliano a Mare, Monopoli, Ostuni or Arbelobello. The host was very nice, very calm and attentive, when we arrived she saw we were worn out by the hot weather and she offered us bottled water and some croissants. We could leave our luggage at the rooms until we checked in and also after we checked out. The rooms were exquisite, with very much light and everything new and fresh, AC was very useful during those very hot days. The rooms were being cleaned if we asked for it. We also received the invoice we asked for. All in all it was perfect!

Close to many restaurants where locals gather - a quarter fill of atmosphere. Neat and functional room with closed balcony with comfy seating and tea and coffee making facilities. When the owner comes round in the morning she is pleasant and very Italian

The lift only works up and not down without a key. We only had a number and later a card - more coming. Digital checkin is scary. You ring a number that if engaged does not work to open the door. A nice neighbour helped me. Next you key in a code on the door of the group of rooms for the accommodations. Next you must find a card in the passage - and then wow you get in

What's not to like?! Antonella is an amazing host, like truly one of a kind! Not only did she go out of her way to accommodate an early check in and a check out on a public holiday, but she also gave me some yummy recommendations for lunch a dinner! To add to that, Antonella also bought me an amazing breakfast of delicious pastries along with fresh figs from her tree!!! As for Anna, she is a star. Checking in to see if I need anything and also helping me out with a ride to the airport on a public holiday! I cant recommend Melo 48 enough. The residence is the cleanest I've ever seen in my entire time of travel. The location is epic, so close to EVERYTHING, literally a stones throw away. Plus the service, hospitality and kindness of the host Antonella was incredible. Truly the kindest 2, Antonella & Anna!!! Highly recommend Melo 48!!!

Nothing not to like....everything was amazing!

We spent three nights in this brand new apartment, located in the city centre, from a few minutes walk from the sea and the old town . The host and the cleaning lady are very kind, helped us with everything, offered us extra cleaning as well. The apartment is silent, super clean!! , the sheets are soft, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom even exceeded our expectations. Our room had a covered balcony, a small fridge too, a coffee and tea machine with thoughtful selections. Definitely recommend it.

Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Water kept cold in the fridge in the room. Very modern bedroom and bathroom also kept extremely clean. All facilities you could need - plenty of towels, extra pillows and blankets, dental kit, shampoo/soap, tissues, hairdryer. Aircon worked well. Soundproof room. Felt very secure. Excellent location walking distance from train station, bus station, beach, old town, restaurants, bars and shops.

There are only thin blinds over the windows so when other rooms had their lights on it lit up across the courtyard very bright and same with the sunrise - could put actual curtains on the windows and this would feel more private too. Very expensive.

The location of Melo 48 is perfect for travellers who want to make also some daily trips to other towns nearby like Alberobello or Matera using the public transport. It is also very close to the pedestrian shopping area and to the old town where you could visit the basilica St. Nicola. We love the facilities and the service at Melo 48. It was very nicely furnished and very clean. The service has exceeded our expectations. The ladies were very kind and approachable. They demonstrated amazing hospitality. The communication was very smooth.

The suite was very clean, very nicely decorated, had a great balcony we enjoyed a lot. It had everything we needed, including hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. Free coffee and water. Very good position in the city, within walking distance from the important landmarks, shops, historical city. Very safe area with a great view of the sunset from the balcony. One of the best accommodations ever stayed at. Would recommend 10/10.
