The interior was beautiful and the bed with the cushions were very comfortable. The suite was also pretty quiet, so I could rest very well. The location was very good and only like 10 minutes away by foot from most of the touristic spots. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and made our stay perfect. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We stayed for a week and it’s an excellent hotel. Given that it’s in the old part of town, it’s central but because it’s not on a main road it’s actually quite quiet. The breakfasts really are excellent. I wasn’t sure about the bed but it proved comfortable. The roof garden is an added bonus. It’s really nice up there. Easy to get around Bologna, but it is a good 25 mins walk from the station. But then again, if it were a shorter distance the location would be much noisier.

Nothing really. Housekeeping didn’t always top up the teabags/milk in the room but reception were always happy to provide.

Very very happy here! First of all, great location! About 1 block from the Basilica of St. Dominic and easy ~8 minute walk to the very center of the historical district (all of which is through the lovely historical district - what a pleasure) Lovely common areas, AMAZING roof deck, terrific breakfasts, incredibly kind and helpful staff, comfortable and functional room, comfortable bedding, fast and reliable Wi-Fi. I stayed in the smallest available room and it is entirely like the website photos. I know there are larger rooms and would expect those also match the photos. I wouldn’t describe my room as “luxurious” but I don’t mean that in a negative way - it was completely comfortable and functional. I’m sure the hotel’s prices vary but I found this hotel delivered terrific value for money and I would very happily stay there again.

Everything was great as mentioned above! The only “negative” is that I don’t think the website adequately captures how COMPLETELY SURREAL AND GORGEOUS the VIEWS from the roof deck are - views to die for. :) :) :)

The entire staff was warm, welcoming, solicitous. The room and the grounds were beautiful. Great, convenient location (we were traveling by train) and very quiet. We’ve been traveling in Europe for a month and this was hands down the best breakfast we’ve had. Highly recommend the facility and the team at Hotel Touring.

We loved the location of this gorgeous hotel. Walking distance to everything but nice and quiet. We loved the friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. We loved the stunning roof top terrace, with views across Bologna and the hills. There was an excellent selection of food for breakfast and the wait staff were extremely friendly. What a fabulous place to stay ❤️

Unfortunately, we could hear people in the room next to ours. You could actually hear them talking. The other thing that let the place down was the high cost of drinks on the roof terrace. It was a strange system where the first drink was 15 euro, which is exceptionally high. Food on the terrace was delicious but also very expensive.

EVERYTHING!! The location is great, staff is lovely, amenities and cleanliness are nothing short of superb. The breakfast was AMAZING!! Fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, scrambled eggs, sauteed veggies and more! Our room had plenty of space and didn't feel we were jammed into a tin box. The hotel has an amazing rooftop area where they serve drinks and snacks during the early evening hours with friendly conversation and beautiful views of the terra cotta red rooftops of Bologna. I would stay here over and over again during my return travels to Bologna, because I will return! Such a lovely city with amazing people, food and sites :)

Nothing - everything was great. We have no complaints about the staff, breakfast, cleanliness or size of the room!! We even had a balcony out of our room!

We had an absolutely wonderful, but very short stay at the Hotel Touring in Bologna. We booked very last minute and the staff were immediately responsive to our request for twin beds and to facilitate us they upgraded us to a beautiful suite opening onto a lovely little courtyard. The suite was extremely spacious, very, very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed, there was even a little kitchen, a very spacious bathroom with a great shower and lovely Ferragamo products. The hotel itself is very beautiful with a lovely bar and reading room. Breakfast was of a very high standard, a great selection of very good food. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and did everything to make our stay perfect. The location is great, very convenient to everything Bologna has to offer but is off the main, busy streets on a very quiet little street. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will definitely be our go to when we go back to Bologna.

Great location just south of the main square. good restaurants in walking distance, recommended and booked by the hotel for us. Excellent buffet breakfast. Lovely roof top terrace for evening drinks.

The drinks on the terrace at 15 euros each were very expensive, and perhaps could be offered cheaper for hotel residents. (An Aperol Spritz is no more than 6 euros in most places.) The room was small with no comfortable chair. A hairdryer in the room, not bathroom, would be good and a 'vanity' mirror in the bedroom too for ladies! It is a very well located hotel in the old part of Bologna. Very quiet and close to the heart of Bologna and multiple restaurants. it is a 30 minute walk to thectrain station, so if needing to be near the train not so convenient. The hotel staff are lovely and they will order a taxi which comes promptly, so then a ten minute ride to the station. Wonderful roof terrace, where you can enjoy a drink and a meal from 6pm. We started our cycle tour from there and had five nights in total there. We would come back! Loved it
