The staff were some of the best I have ever met at a hotel. Marcella at reception is the exact person you would love to meet on your arrival. She is extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. She also gives excellent restaurant suggestions. Breakfast is good and personnel serving it are very attentive. The car parking service is very efficient and convenient.

The room was very noisy. If you try to put a baby down for a nap during the day as we did, the noise of the doors slapping and the cleaning people is very disturbing. Plus noise from the street and other people staying in hotel is constant.

Location was good, rooms are spacious and clean enough. Breakfast was good too with a variety of options. 5 mins walk to the main port to take the ferry to Portofino or other locations. Highly recommended!

Avoid dealing with the front desk lady - I think Russian speaking as she will try to destroy your stay. Some other guests had similar issues as we had of " strange add-on fees" to the total stay price ecc. Seek the other members of the front desk who are way more professional and friendly. I wish the tall man was there at the moment of check-out so everything would be fine. This lady was unprofessional at the end pretending that she didn't know things and using a calculator and every time with a different sum up. uggghhh

Friendly staff, clean room, lovely balcony on shady side of hotel - most welcome in the hot weather for sitting out in the evening. Excellent location, not far from the railway station and the town centre, but quiet too. Good breakfast, which can be taken indoors or in a lovely shady patio area.

Small thing - lights in the bathroom were on a motion sensor that frequently turned the lights on during the night, and one time turned them off while I was in the shower. A normal light switch would be fine :-)

The room was giant, expected big size since it was a junior suite. It had a fantastic living area. The bathroom was giant as well, very luxury and modern. Bathroom products were awesome, AC worked perfectly, the bed was big with awesome linen, very comfortable for a good rest. Lots of complimentary stuff expected from a 4* hotel that delivers. The location was excellent, close to absolutely everything to know in the area and for transport to portofino (couple of blocks to the bus station of ferry).

The wifi, it was slow and dropped frequently.

Same breakfast every morning .Room is spacious but diff from the pic shown on website.staff r warm and friendly. Location is excellent 6 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins from the town. Euro 20 flat rate taking taxi from train station to the hotel.

Shower felt rather claustrophobic. Breakfast same every morning .

The location was perfect, only a few minutes walk from the main foreshore, and a quick walk to/from the major train station so no need to take taxi unless a lot of baggage! Hotel was very nice and clean with nicely decorated rooms and nice breakfast! Would recommend staying here to family/friends.

Some confusion over contacting reception from room and in relation to some facilities but staff were otherwise helpful and friendly when asked

I originally booked the most affordable option at this hotel - a basic/standard room. luckily the AC in this room was broken and the hotel graciously upgraded us to a much better room. this made our stay so amazing because I truly hated their standard room. it was so small. the bathroom was also so small. would not recommend staying here unless you pay for a room with a balcony. the staff was so nice. they upgraded us into a much larger room with a wrap around balcony. this made our stay. the hotel is in a great location. just walking distance from everything all the restaurants and shops in Santa Margarita. we stayed at this hotel and took a day trip to Cinque terre as well as Portofino.

the standard room was really small. would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you’re willing to pay for a better room.

The person at the front desk was very friendly when we arrived around midnight. The property was very pleasant and close from the Santa Margherita port.

The garden view was nothing special, but that's really to find something to say, because I found everything above expectation for the price.

We stayed here one night to break up a long trip from France to Tuscany. It was a perfect stop. The hotel was incredibly good value, one of the best available I’d say. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but efficient, there was a lovely breakfast spread. We were able to explore Portofino and all the villages in between as there was a long but easy walk in between, so great location to explore more of the region.

I like everything about this place specially the staff and their friendliness I would recommend u stay here again and again I’m for sure staying here again if I ever come here, the hotel it self is very well put together the decor the marble and everything else is great
