Value for money all depends on what you value. We have stayed here on our holidays for many years, and will always stay here when in Capri. This is authentic Italy and Italian hospitality, it’s so nice here and we always feel happy. The room is big and traditional Capri style with pretty tiles, bathrooms also large, it’s great to have a bath, and the pool area is fantastic. The owners are kind and genuine, and the place has character. We’ve stayed in the ‘best’ hotels in Capri but actually, this is our favourite place. It’s such good value for money.

Tbh. Breakfast was poor. Not the quality ..the presentation..large bowl of tomatoes and salad was always nearly empty..egg and bacon trays were not replenished. Salvatori was the best thing ..coffee was good..the pool facilities were great!!

No. Handles on cupboards in bedroom …no real shower..bathroom shower leaked. ..bathroom robes but no hooks in the bathroom for them once used

The view from the room was stunning. Right out side our room was a patio with beautiful flowers over a sitting area overlooking the sea. That area had a path that lead to the pool area that was also beautiful. The restaurant was the best we had in all our travels of the Amalfi coast. The staff was first class and very friendly. They delivered the luggage to the Ferry and printed our boarding passes so we didn't have to lug around our luggage. This is a romantic hotel that superseded all our expectations!

La Vega far exceeded our expectations! It’s perfectly located in the heart of the beautiful Capri and with a very special room upgrade, we had uninterrupted views of the amazing coastline and surrounding gardens. The staff were exceptional and the service was 5 star. Our room was spacious and very clean/tidy. The pool area was amazing and the restaurant served incredible seafood! Continental breakfast each morning was spot-on and the reception staff were so friendly & accommodating – they made and confirmed several bookings for our stay. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough and we look forward to one day returning to the beautiful Capri, staying nowhere else but La Vega!

We stayed at a few different hotels during our trip to the Amalfi coast and this was by far our favorite! The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean from the communal areas (reception area, breakfast room, pool) to our own room with gorgeous blue tiled floors and a stunning view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We came during the off-season so the whole place felt very private.

Good breakfast with a variety of choices. A bit of a walk as it was away from the crowds in town, but that was worth it for the views and the quiet location. Wonderful pool area and spacious, lovely room.

Only 1 meal in the restaurant that my vegan travel partner could eat. I would have hoped for a bit more variety on the restaurant menu. Mostly seafood. Bathroom could do with an upgrade as the shower is in the bath and there was no warm water one morning.

Location - beautiful location and outlook, and centrally positioned. Views, pool & gardens - all very special. Staff went above and beyond to make trip very special. Rooms generous & decor lovely, esp. renovated rooms.

Our room had sea views and it was breathtaking. Also a really nice and big terrace. Will come back to La Vega.

The breakfast was a shame. Only the coffee was very nice. Besides that, the weren't almost options and very poor quality. The ham looked old, expires. We couldn't eat it. It doesn't match the standards of the hotel.

Beautiful views, comfortable beds and good size rooms. Breakfast was good.

Not the hotels fault that the weather cooled off but the A/C was then shut off, the rooms however did not cool off and the hotel had no fans.

The breakfast spread was amazing. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The property was clean and always well maintained. The view is decent. The rooms were just like the photos published on the website. The pool was clean and regularly cleaned.

Getting to the hotel is a tedious part due to the narrow lanes , which dont really allow any mode of transportation.
