We absolutely loved it at villa la malva, Jonathan Nellie and the whole family/ team members made our stay simple wonderful, The Hotel has a lovely Italian/ rustic vibe to it and has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was lovely on the patio and Kirstina and her team couldn't do enough for us..

Nothing to add .. All I would say is that you should consider having transport in this area , we didn't but Jonathan was very obliging whenever we needed to go out ..as there are no local taxis..

The location was fantastic! It was very clean and was great for a 3* Food was good! The staff were very helpful, engaging and accommodating especially Jonathon who went above and beyond (he was exceptional), he made our stay very easy in terms of transport. Nothing was too much trouble. He even came to our rescue after our taxi dropped us at the wrong place, he then arranged to pick us up at the end of our evening.

Nothing, I think it was excellent value for money.

Jonathan was brilliant - a great communicator, very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Beautiful views from the Villa. We had a lovely evening meal by the pool.

The evening meal was a bit pricey, but nice. Parking is available and manageable, but tricky due to a steep, curved driveway, and was very busy. The bed frame was detached from the base, so any movement from us made a lot of noise. The air con was fine at Medium, but very noisy at High (suggest a problem with the fan). Bathroom was very small, so may cause accessibility issues.

The staff were very friendly and willing to assist in any way possible. The location was good and the views were amazing.

The room was very hot. We were told that due to government regulations, the air conditioning could not be turned on until June 15th. It was the end of May. Also, the parking area isn’t very big. Lastly, while the room has a hot plate for cooking, there is no refrigerator in the room. We wish there had been a refrigerator.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, secluded and quiet, conveniently between the major tourist cities (Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano) all of which can be reached within 1 hour drive.

The problem is you want to visit all the tourist spots but also want to spend as much time as possible at the beautiful pool. So you need to photocopy yourself or just spend more time there. :)

Jon, his father, and Kristina were very nice and attentive to me. The atmosphere of the hotel is quite chill and relaxing which is perfect to get some rest, and at the same time was easy to interact with the other travelers, which is also great, especially when you are traveling alone. In general, there is a pretty/friendly vibe in the hotel.

If you aim to explore come by car, otherwise, you would be limited to moving around, as there aren't enough restaurants nearby or even to get to know the surroundings, therefore you would spend the majority of the time in the hotel or subject to expensive taxis. Also, the bus takes like 1h to reach the nearest station.

The property is big and is pretty nice, in Tuscany style. The view from terraces is breathtaking. Good breakfast and you can eat it on top terrace with beautiful room. Great big swimming pool available all day. There is free parking available but is very steep in some places. Good WiFi, could stream tennis matches without problem. Very good place to visit Florence, Pisa if you are travelling by car. Staff speak English without problems.

- there were lots of mosquitoes even with the mosquito repellent device on - AC sometimes did not cool enough - Sometimes other guests were loud at early morning or evening. It might be a matter of placement the room by the swimming pool - there might be some sign available to hang on door to not have cleaning when not in room

Traveling from Australia I had a magnificent one week vacation and 80th birthday celebration with my friend Silverio a local Florentine. It was absolutely perfect the owner/operators Kristina, Gabrielle and Jonathan delivered impeccable service and hospitality. I would highly recommend a visit

Stairs are tough on the knees but worth the pain to enjoy the breakfast and panoramic view across the valley

The entire facility is amazing.. The picturesque views and the Pool !! My room no.21 was very large & spacious.. decorated Tuscan style! The balcony was perfect for evening moon watching. (however it is not private- It is shared with the next room) To have a true Tuscan experience.. this beautiful villa is perfect. The locals of the town are friendly & welcoming.. there is only 1 bar/cafè/pizzeria and a small convenience store however only a 10 minute drive to the next town such as Montelupo if necessary.

Nothing against the property! My issue was the bus line .. does not run frequently. To truly enjoy your stay it would be advisable to have your own transport!

It was in a great location with lovely views over the valley. We didn't use the pool but it looked good.

The menu. Expensive and limited. when we arrive there was an event on and the food looked amazing, when it came to dinner, it was a plate of meat and nothing else, no salad or anything. Pasta was the other option and nothing special about that...... could have made it at home. Didn't eat there the 2nd night as was so disapointed.
