This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and think it is the perfect place to stay if flying into or out of MXP. It is a wonderful family run hotel with excellent facilities and a fantastic restaurant. For this trip we had a suite and a double room both on the 3rd floor. We recommend the 3rd floor rooms because they have open beam ceilings which really add to the ambiance. The hotel is in a historic building but the rooms are very modern and stylish. Lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff are all wonderful. We used the shuttle for both pickup and delivery to the airport which is convenient and included in the room rate. We also had dinner in the restaurant which is as good as any place we have eaten in Italy. Breakfast is good as well. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Not a thing!

The staff were the biggest blessing. There was a strike with transportation and I was a solo traveler-they took care of me and made me feel safe and comfortable the entire stay. (Theres a train station 7 minute walk away. )Provided me a map and breakfast on the go. The shuttles to airport were also so amazingly convenient and made the trip so easy. The restaurant at the hotel was great and constantly busy (book ahead). The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious, bathrooms were big and had a bidet. everything was great.

I really didn’t expect that my one night staying at the hotel Osteria della Pista would be worthy of a good review. Firstly they offer free transfer from the Malpensa airport to the hotel and vice versa. You should indicate the time which you need. In any case they ask you about transfer time. And it’s free. So, I arrived to hotel late approximately at 10 p.m. and order the dinner to my room. I was amazed little bit the big portion, quality of food and how they cooked very fast. Of course, all the salads and dishes were fresh and delicious. Secondly the room had good space and was very clean, the large bed with white sheets and etc. The bathroom is a big. There were a shower, toilet, bidet and sink. All the items in the bathroom were clean. Nothing extra but had everything you need. Finally the receptionist prepared the box with biscuits, bread, juices and something like that. Resume: if you need to be at the Malpensa airport at night or very early in the morning, you can safely stay at this hotel and not have to ask one thing or another. I forgot about availability of slippers. Really don’t remember.

Everything was good

Reception staff professional & courteous. There is a free taxi transfer from the airport. The hotel is very close to the airport. The driver friendly & professional. The restaurant is not included in the room fee. However, I would really recommend it as the food is amazing. Authentic Italian Cuisine . They provided a breakfast box for me as I was travelling earlier than dining times. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, considering it was very close to the runway.

It's a little more expensive than surrounding hotels , however worth it as stay was nice.

Fabulous little hotel with a very convenient free shuttle bus to Malpensa. Nice quiet little village location where i could get a good walk in before my early flight the next day. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Comfortable beds and amazing Prija toiletries. Superb restaurant that gets the balance right between classy without feeling snobbish. The gluten free pizza and generous aperol spritz in a garden courtyard surrounded by star jasmine was a memorable end to my month long trip to Italy. Credit to them also for not allowing smoking in the outdoor dining area. Big range of food for breakfast including gluten free. Excellent coffee.

I couldn't figure out the climate control thingy so I just opened the window but you do get a bit of noise from the street. The eggs at breakfast were rather bland but other than that it's a good breakfast.

What a pleasant surprise! We had an early flight, so staying nearby MXP was necessary. We drove to the hotel and the check-in was super friendly and helpful. They asked if we needed a shuttle to and from the airport and if we needed dinner reservations at the onsite restaurant. Yes, yes, and yes. I drove the rental car back to the airport, about ~10 min from the hotel. After dropping the car, the hotel shuttle picked me up from the airport Sheraton in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant was fantastic. It was a busy, boisterous place with the staff working as a team to tend to our every need. We asked for amaro for dessert and bought a bottle of the local amaro TIM to bring home. I look forward to our next stay at Hotel Osteria della Pista.

While it is located an hour away from the historic center, the accessibility through a 10-euro bus ride and a 2-euro metro journey makes it a convenient option for budget-conscious travelers with a bit of patience. This hotel truly serves as an excellent central hub for exploring Milan and provides an experience that goes beyond the ordinary.

Hotel Osteria Della Pista has a highly responsive staff. They were able to meet all of my needs. The property is a short drive away from MXP. The free airport shuttle and breakfast are reasons why I chose this property. The standard room is huge and very clean. My room was nicely remodeled. The restaurant provides excellent pizza with a well trained staff to match. I was pleasantly surprised with this property and highly suggest it to anyone who needs a bit of rest before a flight.

I have no negative reviews about Hotel Osteria della Pista.

The shuttle driver picked us up at the airport and took us back for our flight, a 15 minute commute. We stayed two nights. Receptionists very helpful with inquiries how to get to certain places. Their restaurant made our stay much more enjoyable since we didn't go anywhere except a short walk around. Breakfasts were great and suppers outstanding in service, ambience, quality, choice and cost. The building has a wonderful history. If you need to stay overnight close to Malpensa Airport, this is the one! Shuttle service and amazing food.

The location was too far from a shopping mall, 70 euro one way by taxi. And a complicated expensive commute to Serravalle designer mall. No fault of the hotel. I wish Italian hotels supplied tissues.

I love that this hotel goes back to 1875. It has a great restaurant in the basement. I love staying here when flying out of Milan. We have a late dinner then don't have to worry with public transit in the morning because they have a complimentary shuttle. They also have complimentary breakfast. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

I have stayed here plenty of times with no issue. This time there was a dirty towel hanging on a hanger in the closet. That is a pretty simple miss so not really a big deal in my opinion. Otherwise the room was very clean.
