We read the reviews of others and we know Catania already, so we booked the room for one night, where we knew, there is no market on the next day (public holiday on 15.08). The view on the Etna is great and the very big advantage is that the metro station plus several stores are just front of the building. The beds and the bathroom are clean and alright, no insects. Besides the fridge in the room there is a further bigger one in the common room. There is a small elevator helping to get to the 5th floor. We would have been satisfied with our stay anyway, but we have got some extra, that makes this apartment so special with it's great view to the Etna. We could witness the eruption of the Etna that night from the balcony, that is amazing. Check the announcements of the vulcano experts upfront, and if thre is a chance for an eruption, don't go anywhere else!!!

Every other day of our journey could have been only the second best after seeing the Etna while eruption...

The appartment is very clean and modern. Despite the busy location it is also very quiet. Due to our early morning flight we didn´have time for the breakfast but the owner was kind to prepare a small package with croissants and small juices for us. We had no personal contact but the instructions with entrance codes to the building and to the appartment were perfectly done and sent to us via whatsapp.

Good size room. Comfortable bed. Clean. There is a common kitchen with another apartment which is nice. Excellent view of Mt Etna Very close to the metro and bus stop. 10 min walk to the center. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by.

Could be a problem if you're a light sleeper, because there is a market in the piazza next door that starts very early in the morning. But there is a simple solution: bring ear plugs :)

The perfect place at the perfect location in Catania. Everything was close. Comfortable rooms. Amenities. Good coffee in the kitchen. There is an everyday mercatto beneath the window. There are also 2 big supermarkets across the street,. So you can easily buy fresh fruit, water, etc,. The central train station is a 10-minute walk.

Nothing. Even the street noise could easily be avoided by closing the window and turning on the AC,

The location Is walkable from the station,and is close to the sights. The room and bathroom are of good sizes. The bed is hard, which I liked. Linda let me leave the luggage in the apartment while I was sightseeing during the day, which was a big help. Thank you.

The market in the piazza next to the building starts early in the morning on Saturday, and the noise comes through.

The room is very clean, well designed, comfortable, air conditioner works well, water in the room, nice towels, nice kitchen area where there are cups for tea, coffee, napkins, everything you need. Good breakfast in the nearby cafe. The property is well managed with good value.

When we arrived entrance door to the building was broken, so the owner gave us instructions to get a key at the cafe but the staff didn't know about it. So I was spiking with the owner again to sort it out this situation.

- clean bathroom - never ending hot water with good pressure on the shower - breakfast at kennedy bar with amazing cream croissants - easy self check in - comfy and spacious room - central location

- not super sound proof from the street, not nothing awful - no free parking

The check-in process is quite helpful, particularly if your flight is late. Very good communication with the host, they are very helpful. The apartment is placed at 10 min walk from the historical center and 15 min walk from train station.
