We spend two nights in total at his place on our arrival and departure from Catania. Giuseppe was a perfect host, kind nd very helpful. He was very quick to respond and allowed us to drop our luggage before the check-in. On our arrival he awaited us and explained everything. The property is located in very good spot it's less than 10 minutes away from both bus and railway station and city center so if you don't want to spend too much time in Catania, or have an early train to catch it will definetely suit you. Apart from that, there is a special place for delicious breakfast that each morning Giuseppe brings along with hot coffee straight to your room :).

The reviews were aligned to our experience. High ceiling with a large room with air conditioning. Value for money. The pistachio croissant and coffee for breakfast was a treat. Close distance from the Bellini theatre and Duomo. What makes the place genuine as a pleasant Pension/ B&B is Giuseppe, his generosity and warmth is infectious. Visit the fruit stall around the corner for delicious Peaches and nectarines

No bathroom/ ensuite- but rooms are considerable cheaper TV had a number of blotches, but we didn’t travel so far to watch tv in our room. Some areas were not so pleasant so take the advice from Guiseppe as to the safe areas.

We loved everything! The room was absolutely clean and tidy. Giuseppe is absolutely great person! He greeted us, gave valuable advice about what to visit. We asked him where we can taste the local wine and he brought us a bottle of wine as a gift, it was so sweet! He keeps everything super clean in casa, very kind person who hosted us amazingly. He always asked what kind of croissants we want for breakfast, they were always freshly baked and super tasty. The day of our departure he accompanied us to the nearest bus station to the airport and gave us a pack of local sweets to bring to our family as a gift. He made our trip even better!

Giuseppe was really accommodating and gave us good tips about what to do during our stay and even stayed till late in the evening waiting for us to come and take our luggage which we left with him after check out in order to visit other places. Besides, he brought us our breakfast at 6 in the morning when we told him we were heading out early, even though breakfast time started at 7.30. The location was really great close to the center and the main station.

The only reservation we had was that some of the towels were a little old which I hope will be improved next time we visit, which we intend to do soon.

Beautiful historic building with lofty ceilings and gorgeous tiled floors. Very charming and kind host, Giuseppe, who provided tasty coffee and a freshly collected, delicious pistachio croissant from the bakery despite us choosing an early breakfast time. Giuseppe took time to chat about the historic building and the city and give us an extra coffee. He also allowed us to stay a little longer than checkout time.

While the property is on the edges of a less desirable neighbourhood it felt perfectly safe and well lit. Giuseppe gives you tips on areas to avoid so location ended up being very central and useful to us with some good eateries nearby

Our host had to wait until midnight for us - due to lost baggage at the airpport; even though he was extremly friendly, thats hospitality at its best!😊😊😊

The accomodation is central, was clean and tidy. The host was very kind. He offered a bottle of cold water when I arrived as in Catania was hot when I arrived. The room was quite spacious and bed comfortable. Toilet was clean and spacious too. All worked well. He explained me about details how to get to areas and visit. Host enjoys receiving people. I never experienced much hospitality. I appreciate the gesture. In the morning, Intend to wake up quite early to explore the area as much as I can. He even offered to adapt to my early time to have my breakfast. Pistacchio croissant, quite popular in Sicily, which was very nice. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to visit Catania to stay.

I was very happy during my stay

The host is very nice and helpful. He gave us recommendations where to go and to eat. The room was quiet and clean. the air conditioner was working perfectly. In the morning we received the topical Catanian breakfast (with croissants fresh from the backery). He help us to arrange transportation to the airport as is was our last day in Sicilia. The building is located close to the historical center and to the port, so you can get there by foot. The streets around look a little bit sordid due to some abandoned buildings but it is characteristically from this part of the city. We have a nice time there and by Giuseppes B&B.

The host Giuseppe is super nice and helpful. He delivers the tasty breakfast to my room every morning in person. He can do his best effort to communicate to you by google translator. I felt impressive that he arranged taxi to airport for me after midnight in order to catch the early morning flight. I will recommend his b&b.

The property is old but well maintained by the owner. It’s not renovated due some historical reasons but for night stay it’s really fine.

The Tv doesn’t have signal, I mean like no pictures appear only sound. Maybe it is working, I just don’t know how to fixed it properly & It doesn’t give bother at all.
