New furniture! Good space! The bathroom was on the lobby and until i realized that i have to lock it each time, people keept using it as it was in common, even if was a private one:)) The general feeling was that they are in process of modernizing the flat, but still have to do some small thing here and there, like replacing the windows (in contrast with the rest of furniture) and other details. Was self CI, but host call me to be sure all is good after texting him that i am at the property

They have an agreement with a coffee close by for breakfast. The owner, mr Toscano, told me there is a ticket in the room, on my table that i can use in this purpose, but never found it. So had no breakfast 2! I don t know if he ever considered that the room was completly open and accessible until my arrival. But anyway was a small snack prepared in the room, so keept the balance:))

- very clean place - luggage store - everything worked fine - 'normal' shower (not kind of cheap one where water is all around the bathroom) - comfortable bed - pus for electric kettle, tea, small breakfast in the room and voucher for the one i cafe - quiet place - air conditioning worked well but was a bit noisy - big plus for cleaning the room every day, it was so nice to come back from sightseeing and see everything so clean - wifi worked fine - friendly owner

- a bit far from train station and city center - 20-30 min on food - our room was a bit dark but it's not a big problem

"A buffet breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast." not at all, if you like big breakfast, be aware that it is just crackers with jam and in the bar one small croissant and espresso Location - not far from the centre, but also not close in Sicilian heat (about 2 km)

I loved my stay at B&B del Toscano. It has a great location, walking distance from the beach and historic center. The room was very clean and very comfortable, so was the bathroom, all the necessary facilities provided. Staff was very helpful and kind. Nice breakfast in the room and two options outside. Very highly recommended!

Quite some noise from the building itself (showers/toilets/front door). No troubles for people who are used to living in a city. Just be aware ;-)

Guiseppe was extremly friendly and welcoming even when we arrived 4 hours late! The rooms are more spacious as shown on the pics! Also parking was easy next to the hotel! The recommendation for dinner was also excellent. Everything was clean and we also got a bottel of water, tea, coffee and a small breakfast. My family liked the stay and I would surely recommend it!

Very friendly host, constantly available. The room was clean and convenient, so was the separate bathroom (only for us). Nice gesture: a small buffet in the room; the coffee machine in the corridor, coupons for breakfast in the cafe nearby. Everyday cleaning.

Single room with a private bathroom in the floor. Host is very friendly and helpful even when you need to checkin late. We go a breakfast voucher in a nearby coffee.

Good sized room and bathroom. Comfortable bed, and the location is good. I loved the breakfast restaurant and all the friendly people, especially Roberta and Giuseppe. Internet is also good and the metro is 2 Minutes walk.

very nice place where to stay in Catania and lovely host who helps you with recommendations regarding the island. breakfast in bakery with very nice baker was also very good.
