It is located close to the hospital where my husband had been admitted so perfect for me. The room was large and clean and staff were all fantastic. Located in a quieter residential area but I felt safe to walk around on my own. About 20 mins walk into the central old town. Very good choice at breakfast. Kettle and large fridge in the room which I found useful and nice to have a balcony where I enjoyed listening to the evening sounds of the city. Great take-away pizza outlet just up from the hotel was useful for me as a solo traveller to take back to the room.

Carpet in the bedroom was a bit threadbare but the room was otherwise immaculate. It is located in a residential area outside of the main central area. There was quite a lot of graffiti and litter around which could be off putting but once you embrace this it becomes part of the charm. Good to see locals just getting on with everyday life.

Great Hotel with great facilities. It looks a bit outdated in style and colors, could do a bit of refurbishment in common areas. Room was great and clean. I liked the idea that you can choose different style of pillows - really nice option to offer. Cleanliness is a great aspect of this place. I would definitely recommend this place for short trips. Great balconies for a chill out morning or evening or during the day.

1 lady at the reception - wasn't very accommodating - she even didn't ask how was our stay and tried to charge as more than we already paid. The other reception staff were excellent. Breakfast and bar staff could smile a bit more - looked a bit angry and not welcoming. Balconies could have some outside chairs to sit - this would be good option

A spacious, clean, comfortable room. Large bathroom, plenty of towels and hot water. Very helpful staff at the reception desk. Big storage area for holding our luggage after checking out but before departing to the airport. While no frills, this hotel certainly lived up to Best Western's reputation for quality.

The hotel is away from the central shopping streets and tourist attractions, and there was a half-mile walk to get to them. On the other hand, there were several good small restaurants and patisseries close to the hotel. Overall we had no complaints and many kudos.

Hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from centrum but there is a bus nr 504 also. Personel very helpfull and nice. Room large with comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast very good, scrambeld eggs, salami, italian cheese and fantastic tarta and almond cake. Personel can prepare you espresso. TV with many channels. Street is quiet. Near is local with very tasty pizza.

There is nothing. Everything is OK and I am glad.

The reception staff provided us with a room for early check-in , offered suggestions for sering local sites and accommodated us to avoid a room change once our scheduled tour was to begin. We are delighted with the sensitivity to detail.

I do not have anything to say about what I didn't like.

The hotel is an excellent value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, nicely refurbished, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a much wider food choice than a typical Italian breakfast. Neighbourhood is quiet and not too far from the city's historical centre and main streets. All in all, it was much better than I expected.

The hotel is located in an unpleasant neighborhood, very dirty. But then, Catania is the dirtiest Italian city I've seen, much worse than even Naples.

Everything - room is big and comfortable, bathroom is large and updated. Staff is pleasant and willing to help. Great overall experience.

Location is not central and there is not easy and close by public transit to go downtown, so you go by foot or else. Our room view was towards inner part of the building, so no view or fresh air from outside.

checking in easy , rooms excellent, comfortable with extra staff so professional and spoke english fluently as our italian was nil the beds were comfortable with extrablanket needed and bathroom towells as new

maybe a snack available late evening from the bar to have with nightcap

The staff were very friendly and helpful and check-in and out went smoothly. They arranged for transport to the airport the next day which again went smoothly and was on time. Breakfast was good and punctually served for our early departure.
