The staff was very nice, welcoming and flexible. We arrived earlier than the actual check-in time and were able to drop in our bags to our assigned room. The room (budget, Igloo room) was in upstairs from the lobby making it it's very private own "nook". The room was spacious enough for us two, neat and up to date. Also it was quite well sound proofed (except the "balcony" door) so we didn't hear much of the other quests. The room included a big bottle of still water on the behalf of the hotel and we also had a fridge and a kettle. There were also two flat screen TV's and an air heat pump to control the room temperature.

The breakfast was in a separate café (couple minutes walk from the hotel) that only offered a coffee/tea and a croissant. No gluten-free options so it was a fail for me. The informed balcony was very small, faced to the patio which wasn't much to see and didn't invite to spend any time there. For us this wasn't an issue because it was Winter and we didn't care if the room did or didn't come with a balcony. The balcony door was more like of an hatch and didn't have any insulation or sound proofing in it making the cold air and the noises from the patio and outside get into the room through it. This was an issue due the fact that the door situated in the bedroom.

The location was great, only 10 min from the center of Catania and the best restaurants, bars and things to see. Dario and Milena were great and always ready to recomend places to go, where to eat and made our stay absolutely amazing. This is real value for money and even though there are only stairs(which I see a lot of people mentioning in their review, it is expected in a calssic townhouse Italian home. Ceilings are high, the bathrooms are newly renovated, there is airconditioner and to be fair, when in Sicilia, you need a nice bed to sleep on, because you are out all day exploring and a good shower, so you can freshen up from the heat. 10/10 experience.

There was nothing that was not good!!

Amazingly painted rooms, the mattress was really comfortable and the toilet big and clean. They also give us a bottle of water . Very nice stuff. They have a deal with a coffee around the corner for the breakfast.

Just the area. Close to the center but very dirty area. Not the fault of the host. Catania is pretty dirty outside the center .

The room is quite big, clean and modern, the painting is very cool and stylish, bed was so comfortable especially after a long day out u need a good sleep. Plus it’s very close to walk to the centre and bars and restaurants and bus station too so I have to say very good location and everything great 😀

Very clean, freshly renovated spacious room and bathroom, located near the old city of Catania. Air conditioner with heating for cool February nights. Very comfy bed and nice host. Easy self check in. Taxi service advised by the host very convenient, taxi came fast and we managed to arrive at the airport in time, in spite of crowds after St. Agata feast.

The triple room was spacious. Large bathroom. Very clean. Value for money. Reception was very good with information. Short walk to the city centre, Cathedral and restaurants.

The airport taxi that the receptionist booked was EUR22 at 6am pick up, however when we reached the airport, it was EUR30.

The staff was lovely, and the room clean. They were very accommodating when I had to arrive very late on the first night in order to pick up the keys. I very much appreciated it.

The location is a bit out of the way, but easy enough by foot from the center of town.

Room looks good and it’s new also as well as really clean. We had everything we needed. It’s 10-15min away from the city centre by foot. Personnel is super nice.
