The room was very spacious and clean. We had the suite where the bathroom even had a double shower, which was very nice. Besides that everything you need was available in the room, like extra pillow, blankets, bathroom amenities etc.

In the evening there is a lot of noise in the street since it is a barbecue restaurants street where the owners shout till late in the evening. Furthermore, the wifi did not work very well and the breakfast could have had some more healthy options. Also most of the food at the breakfast was not available anymore, even when we were one of the first coming for breakfast.

Location was good but not as great as we were hoping (as in: not in the very immediate centre of the city). Room was brand-new, so few minor things still need to be tweaked for example more toiletries should be given, a bin in the room. Long flight of stairs right at the entrance (not ideal if you carry large luggage). Entrance not immediately noticeable from the road. A note that people should be wary that as the double deck walk-in shower is very large it is not unlikely to knock the head on the shower tap 😞

The accommodation was nicely renovated inside, the room is comfortable, the bathroom is decorative. The room was equipped with everything you need. The breakfast had an almost family atmosphere, with many delicacies on offer and an excellent cappuccino, which the owner personally prepared for everyone. (No omelets and sausages, but we didn't miss them either.) Renata helped a lot with tips, suggestions, program bookings, we are really grateful for her.

The small street is busy in the evening, despite the well-insulating windows, the noise of the street can be heard to some extent, but I think this can be said for most of Catania.

Great service. The hotel is (presumably) family-run and everyone in the staff is very friendly. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat, what to see and what to do, aswell as offering to help us book tables, call for taxis and other good-to-have services. Room was tidy and clean. Aircondition in the room was very good. Spacious shower and toilet. Hotel is in near vicinity of the «main street» going from the Basilica and North towards Villa Bellini. TL:DR: friendly and helpful staff, good standard in the room, placed only few blocks from main shopping street and Villa Bellini.

A bit noisy. Property is located in a street full of bbq restaurants. One in particular across the road had a very loud spruiker out the front to encourage diners that seemed to go on until very late. It’s also on a very busy main road

A Fully renovated building run by a family of 4. The owners are kind, hospitable and very accommodating. The whole property is fully air conditioned so when you walk in from the heat you have a welcoming feeling. There is plenty paid parking in the area and if you install the city parking app the cost is very low. 3 days parking cost me €15. The rooms are large and comfortable, air conditioned with armchairs, a nice desk and smart Tv to connect to your media. Bathroom is large comfortable and spotlessly clean like the rest of the room. Breakfast is very rich with cheeses, cold cuts, breads, pastries, variety of jams and honeys and fresh fruit. There is daily cleaning of the room which we appreciated very much Arrivederci Salvo e famiglia!

The property was perfect, cleaning to high standard in such a great central position. The owner and his family are the nicest, and they were super helpful with everything regarding transport and places to visit. We will definitely come back to visit Plebis again in the near future!!!! Contact with the staff was exceptional. Giving the good tips on where to go, what to eat and drink. Contact was really easy by whatsapp they even proposed to drive us back to the airport, to avoid taxi and their expensive rates. We really felt welcomed and in a familly :) Location was by 5-10 minutes walking distance from the old town.

Nothing, everything elwas perfect. Even if you are in a busy street, the apartment is quite well isolated.

Stayed at Plebis for a couple of days before travelling around Sicily. The hotel is very clean, the owner and his daughter are the best hosts, doing all they could for us have a good stay. Breakfast was also very good, with the best pistachio croissants I have ever tried. On our last morning, one of the children had their birthday. When the owner found out, he surprised us all by appearing with a beautiful cake and a gift. The stay and the kindness of the staff far exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is situated in a busy, 'barbecue' street. It can get a bit loud in the early evening.

The host were really nice, met us and gave us good recommendations for our stay and where to eat, explore, etc. The location is pretty central, so you can reach everything by the foot. If you need to park a car, there's a parking nearby where you can leave the car overnight. The amenities were really clean, the apartment was beautiful. Even it's quite busy street the room was quiet. Breakfast was delicious, both salty and sweet options.
