Amazing place! The rooms are large and very clean (they're cleaned daily). Slippers and toiletries were provided, and everything seems to be done with great care. The TV and WiFi work very well. We had to turn off the AC (we visited in May so there was no need for it), but it seemed to work just fine. Easily accessible from the airport, and easy to get to the train station by bus. The location is pretty good, a leisurely 20-25 minutes walk from Piazza Duomo. The building itself isn't new but it's in great condition, and the elevator works well. The hosts were really nice, offered advice on what and how to visit, where to eat etc. All in all, we've visited around 50 cities in Italy (some of them more than once or twice), so we've stayed at just as many hotels/B&Bs (in Italy) over the years. This is definitely in our top 3.

Quite noisy from traffic, but it's the city centre so that's to be expected.

- The room was a great size and the bed was comfy. The ensuite was lovely and the shower was spot on. - The staff were brilliant and really accommodating. We didn't speak any Italian and all 3 of the staff we spoke to were very kind to us about it, offering places to go in the city and restaurants to eat at. They gave us a map and told us exactly where to go. -The location was perfect and easy for us to navigate. -The breakfast was nice, a local cafe gives you a nice option to pick from.

Big rooms, comfortable beds. Hot powerful shower. Clean. Sky TV available. Aircon was good .

Voucher given for breakfast at a cafe nearby. Staff at the café were unfriendly and it was hard to understand what we could eat. Basically we could have a croissant and a cup of coffee/tea. We only used one of the three vouchers and tried different breakfast places for the other two mornings.

Great location, friendly staff. Clean. Safe. Good value.

I was awoken more than a few times by people chatting in the hallway and on the reception balcony so it was difficult to enjoy a proper nights sleep.

I loved my stay at Catania Central Rooms. The location of the hotel is great, the room was very nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend it 100%!

The owners are superb. Very helpful and incredibly friendly. The location is close to the sites but away from the hustle of the center. plenty of restaurants around and a great cafe across the street. The room had AC which was nice since it was summer and very hot in Catania. The room I stayed in was a good size and the wifi worked very well. definitely will stay here next time I visit Catania.

Location at via etnea but just out of the busiest area is excellent. Staff is friendly. Room is spacious and comfortable.

Too many keys, but not a big problem. Inner courtyard view can be a bit dirty at times but that's not what you're here for.

I had originally booked another hotel nearby, however when I arrived I found the room was full of insects (among many other issues relating to hygiene)! I immediately cancelled, and within 30 minutes received a confirmation for Catania Centro. Within an hour, I was able to check into my beautiful and very clean room! They were incredibly kind, everyone in the building was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was a lovely size, with great AC, very clean bathroom, and there was a small balcony overlooking the side street.

When arrived given room turned out to be not cleaned after previuos guest. But they apologized and gave me a better room (double instead of single), which definitely covered the first impression. Great localization, old building - nice to stay in such place. Bus station to the airport - right on the corner near the hotel. Friendly personel. Let me leave luggage after check out for a day.

Ecological bathroom makes aweful sounds everytime u use water in the bathroom. A little bit old facilities - one of two shelves missing and distorted lamp in the bathroom, old towels. Not enough electrical sockets (only one for lamp near bed table). Noise from street. Too many doors: u need 4 keys for 4 doors (plus plastic card for electricity) to carry with you - to get into apartment. City tax can be paid only in cash...
