Nice hotel in handy location for main part of town. Contrary to what Google tells me the airport Alibus drops you off practically outside. Pay attention, the front door is a bit hard to notice. Our room was double storey which was fun. Plenty of breakfast options so add it to your booking. 24hr reception is great and seemed quite rare for similarly priced hotels in the area. The staff were all great. Vending machine in the lobby with beer.

First impressions were of the staff at reception, everyone was warm and welcoming. The hotel is smack in the middle of Catania, so the Alibus is right there, I was arriving from Taromina so I came from the central bus station, which is a simple fifteen minutes walk. The facilities were well kept and the price was a good value Pro tip: I had to leave the hotel at 04:30 because I had an early flight and I did not want to take any chances so the girl at the front desk said that time in the morning, the price is €45 as supposed to half the price or take the bus during normal hours,booking.com listed £41 I said is Uber available and she said I don't think so, in front of her I went to Uber and booked a ride, yes it was available and the cost was €40.

It seems like there is lots of live music, however I went out to eat around those hours, so no biggie for me. When I came back to my room, the music was done.

Exceptional central location in the best-known street of Catania, with even a view of Mount Etna in the distance. Spacious (triple) room with all the amenities as advertised. Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff.

The room on the second floor is served by a lift (elevator). However, the layout of the building is such that the lift does not stop on the first floor where there is the reception, and breakfast is served. This meant that we still had to use the stairs. They told us that this situation is to be rectified soon.

stellar location on the Via Etnea, backing onto the Park, very nice staff, clean room, comfortable bed and excellent wifi, outdoor breakfast area very nice

quirky setup with elevator service not going to all floors , including reception and entry level meant baggage handling and travel in and out of the building was circuitous, up and down stairways and through long hallways with sensor lighting. also a step up into the bathroom caused me to trip a couple of times.

the location is very central to all touristic attractions, the hotel staff speaks English and the breakfast is very decent.

Via Etnea is a very central road and quite noisy. the windows of our room were old and couldn’t close properly. this meant noise and cold in our room during the night.

i liked the hotel but there are unavoidable stairs. there is an elevator from the ground to second floor But you still must walk down the stairs to get to the hotel reception area in the breakfast room. The elevator just not stop on the first floor. Other than that, I like the Hotel very much. I have knees otherwise I wouldn’t complain about the stairs there is some street noise but i think that is s fact of life in Catania - not a reason to go elsewhere - it’s a nice hotel

Good location for central Catania. Good value buffet breakfast at 5 euros each. Interesting old building with original painted ceilings in the restaurant and meeting room. There was a peaceful terrace from the dining room

Our room was on the Via Etnea side and the traffic was noisy. The bedroom was a little drab.

The location was great, I thought easily accessible the centro of Catania. The room was a simple, single room, perfect for my needs of just a single night as a solo traveler.

The room was noisy in the evening as there was a nearby restaurant and so you heard some kitchen and customer noise.

Top location on the main street and all nice restaurants within walking distance. Staff was great. 24h reception. We immediately could go to our room when we arrived. Reception arranged transfer both from and to the airport. All great!

Beds could be better. You can feel the iron springs in your back when sleeping. Window also didn't close tight so we could hear a drunk bum screaming at night.

Fred (Federico) was the kindest and most helpful member of staff on reception. During the visit, I wasn't too well and he went over and above to make sure I was OK. His kindness ensured the trip went well. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly. There is a lovely outside patio area for breakfast and afternoon relaxation. The hotel is very well positioned for the centre and the main shopping area.

Some of the fittings are a little bit old fashioned.
