The room was exceptionally clean. The location is excellent. The service of the staff was very good. They have private parking that is about 10 min walk from the hotel.

We didn't meet the staff. All the communication was v8a WhatsApp. The doors of the room are very thin and you can hear every conversation in the hallway, that means that they can hear everything in the room. They put kind of a sticker on the drainage of the shower the is to stop the hair from clogging the drainage. The sticker is slowing down the water drainage and you end up standing in an inch of water. I had to remove the sticker to get the water out, and put it back on.

Everything was perfect! I was stunned by the spacious rooms in the B&B, this is a rare find! Located right in the heart of Catania, you can see the Cathedral from the small terrace. High ceilings and enough space for everything, the bathroom is also huge compared to other rented places. Spotlessly clean which is of highest importance. You can find small details and decorations which are not overwhelming but giving an welcoming touch. Serena, the host, is very informative and cooperative, providing detailed recommendations and perfect instructions around check-in/check-out. Wifi was excellent, amenities in the bathroom provided. I really liked also the common area of the B&B.

Nothing at all

Very central, located just a few steps from Piazza del Duomo and the fish market. It is located inside an old atmospheric house with absolutely adorable vintage stairs and elevator, like in old films. The inside is comfortable, there is a nice common area, our room was simple but it had everything needed for a short stay. A plus for including a boiler kettle and tea/coffee set in the room - it is not obvious in Italian hotels and for us it was really useful for an early morning start. The host also kindly let us store our bags in the common area for a few hours before the check-in time.

We really enjoyed staying at Serena's place! We have never seen such involved host. She was available instantly to answer variety of questions - event those not related to accommodation. On the first day she gave us full list of recommendations. They were all brilliant! We got the opportunity to have cheap and delicious breakfast with her discount in Canusciuti. We visited this place every single day and it became our favorite not only for breakfast. Location is perfect so close to the bus stop and piazza duomo. Room was cleaned as frequently as we requested too. We had really big room and bathroom with all the utilities provided.

The location is fantastic, it's actually situated at 3 minutes walking from the center. The rooms a more than big enough and clean. But the most important thing was the host, she was so kind and helpful, giving us all the info we needed 🙏. I really recommend Liodoro. It's also situated close to Paulo Borsellino piazza where you can get a lot of public transport.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The facilities were in top condition, the room was very big and it was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big and really well equipped. Also the location is great, just 2 minutes walking from the central square. However, the best about the property were the people and especially Serena who was really hospitable, attentive and proactive! She took care of everything, she made great suggestions and she was there for us when we needed her help! She even went the extra mile to make sure that our experience in Catania would go as well and smoothly as it could go! To conclude, Liodoro is one of the best places that we have stayed, it is run by young people that they seem to love what they do and we totally recommend it to everyone that is going to Catania!

The location was good, a few blocks from Piazza Duomo where restaurants and cafes are so at night had some movement but the hotel was far enough that you didn't hear any noice. The room was big in size, the bed super comfy, bathroom well ventilated. Small shower but with good water pressure. Serena, the host/manager was very kind, helpful and spoke very good English...which I found is not common in Sicily. The room also had a water kettle and some coffee/tea/sugar for you to use. The bathroom had some toiletries too.

The street is very dark. It's half block from a Main Street but at night it's a little dark like an alleyway.

Location was excellent. A lot of restaurants around and istoric attractions, everything around the corner. Great common space of you need one. The host is friendly and the majority of tasks cand be done remotely, via whatsapp.

No real breakfast options. Still we had some small canoli refreshed at every cleaning, which was nice. The wi-fi was working only in some places of the room. The room has a more classic/dated style. The bathroom's shower is not draining well.

What a haven this is! A central location that is somehow quiet and removed from it all feeling. And yet, from my balcony I could see the Duomo. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable. And there are sweet and thoughtful extras like an electric kettle, excellent AC unit, and even a tiny fridge. Serena is so wonderful. She even helped me set up a trusted and reliable shuttle to the airport which felt like such a daunting task to me! I look forward to another stay!

Perfect location for exploring the old city of Catania. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Spacious clean room with everything you could need including a hairdryer, a fridge and a kettle. Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Excellent value for money. Will definitely return.
