Gabriella was a lovely host, very responsive in the lead up and helpful with directions etc. She also prepared a lovely continental breakfast for the morning. Great location, right next to train station - perfect if you’re looking for a quick stay before going to Taormina or the other more touristy locations. Bed was very comfortable, and room was equipped with everything you need (including aircon, wifi, fridge, ensuite bathroom etc). Great value for money.

Gabriella is a great host, providing breakfast every morning, serving the best croissant and cappuccino. She is super kind, nice, and accommodating. The B&B should be preferable for any family traveling with kids. Considering the price, I think this B&B is one of the best options to stay in Catania. What's more, the location is ideal for us because we prefer to travel via train to several adjcent small towns such as Taormina, so you can walk to the Catania Centrale station in 2-3 minutes. It was lucky for us to find this superb B&B.

This is our first year of using B&B accommodations and they seem to get better and better. Symposium B&B, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. The friendly staff (Gabriella), the excellent service provided, the comfort of home, clean and spotless, the great location within walking distance to town centre, Piazza and Services and the size of the rooms are unbelievable. The staff was very helpful 😊 Self check in was easy. The B&B was 3 minutes walk from the bus and the train station and 16 minutes walk from the city centre. Not a great neighborhood, but in a central road with lots of lights, so we never felt any fear (lot's of little restaurants and people passing by all the time also). The room was spacious with everything you needed Breakfast was good.

The area around Catania Centrale is really not nice at all. Pretty dirty and dodgy all over. Anyway, it’s very close the train station, right next to the bus terminal and within easy walking distance to the city center. As soon as you enter the not very nice staircase you are in a little paradise. the place is more like a little boutique hotel rather than a B&B. everything is very well and nicely prepared. the rooms are very comfortable, spike and clean, they come with a little safe and minibar. ironing facilities and a small balcony with a great view over the chaotic train station area. the most incredible although is the amazing breakfast. even for middle European standards this would be a very cool one, but for Italian breakfast habits this is amazing. Cheese, ham, different breads, toasts and crackers, different (freshly baked) cakes, muffins, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, all different kinds of coffees, teas,……………… Valeria was sooo kind and served breakfast like in a hotel. we absolutely enjoyed our stay!!!! thank you very very much!!!!!!

Excellent location – very convenient. Gabriella (owner) is absolutely lovely and very helpful; we were very grateful for all the help with early check-in as well as the explanations/directions/instructions provided.

The location is a bit busy, so maybe for light sleepers, it would be good to inform the owner in advance for the allocation of a bedroom that is far from the main road.

Great location for catching a train.The accommodation is at the side of the kebab shop, across the roundabout from the station. It's very easy to miss, communication was great, and Gabrielle was in contact via WhatsApp. The towels were very crisp and clean. The room was very comfortable.

The breakfast was cake and pastry based, and no fruit, which would have been nice.

The location is very good. There are bus stops, a railway station and a metro right next to it. From the room we could see Etna. We didn't ate breakfast because we had to get to the airport very early. As for the room itself and the bathroom, the level of cleanliness is very good. The bed was comfortable.

The shower head was leaking in the bathroom.

Very trendy looking room which was very spacious and comfortable. Best bed I'd slept in in the whole of our stay around Sicily. Large shower and good facilities. Located on the third floor there is a lift. Easy access to the property by key code to the main, apartment and room doors. It is location directly across the street from the main train station so perfect for access. The breakfast was outstanding. Every conceivable item was provided. Won't list them all, but home made cakes and pastries were to die for. First class

The whole area is a little run down but perfect if you just want somewhere close to transport. Walking into Catania town was easy and about 15 minutes. Train to Catania airport is 7 minutes.
