The hotel is a no frills hotel and was the perfect location for a the city. Only a block from the train station, it is easy to locate and jump on to train to explore the rest of the region or the beautiful city of Certaldo. The rooms are clean and provide the everything you would need from a closet, to a refrigerator, and full bathroom. My room was small, but perfect for my needs. The staff is extremely welcoming and despite their lack of English were able to communicate effectively. There is no restaurant connected, but they provide an Italian breakfast (Coffee and a pastry) to your choice of 4 cafés around the block.

I wish I knew how to turn the AC on and that there was a screen on my window. I received a lot of mosquito bites.

Just a few steps away from the train station, it’s in a lovely traditional building with an old-fashioned entrance and furnishings. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the pillows of good quality. The bathroom was quite nice. I really enjoyed having a cappuccino and brioche on the terrace of the cafe across the street. The owner was quite cordial and gave me a warm welcome.

The only thing that I wasn’t crazy about was the fact that the shutters are closed tight as the rooms are on the ground floor. That meant that no daylight could come into the room, so even on the brightest of days, it seemed like nighttime.

Very quaint and quiet. Very nice for the value.

As this is a b&b, I would have appreciated more of the "breakfast" portion. Breakfast is a coffee and criossant from a cafe located somewhere else. I never did figure out which cafe it was but this is only because I do not speak Italian. The owner did offer directions and even pointed in a direction outside but I had no idea what he was saying so I gave up haha So not his fault, but would be nice to not have to locate a cafe to get the included "breakfast"

Beautifully equipped and maintained, obviously by real craftsmen /women. There is a comfortable seating area outside in the shade. Very conveniently situated very near the station with a great cafe in the same vicinity where we had breakfast.

There was no window which could be opened in our room. Other rooms do have windows which open.

Ideally located for anyone travelling by train. Clean and comfortable. Nice, older , characterful property. Helpful host. Breakfast minimal at nearby cafe, but excellent pastry and coffee. More available if you wanted to pay more. Town refreshingly populated by natives. The walk up the hill to the old town very worthwhile: views, restaurants, character.

Located 100 m from train station. Breakfast was a coffee or tea and a croissant or similar across the road (100m). Open from 6 or 6:30 a.m. so perfect. Outside areas very nice.ni

Room was a little noisy but it was at the front of the building. Friends who stayed in other rooms didn't have the same complaint.

Absolutely superb, the attention to detail is incredible. From the bedside charging point,to the retractable washing line in the shower cubicle, this is a host that knows what a traveller wants. Certaldo was only a stop to catch the train TBH, but what a sweet little old town and the museum is superb. Certainly worth half a day on your itinerary.

I stayed at this place recently, and I have to say it was fantastic. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, the bed is super comfy, everything is clean, and the breakfast and coffee were a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend it!

Nice location in center near train station. Breakfast is big croasan and coffe in nice cafe. Old town is amazing. Everything is in an rustic old style and also clean. Room is cleaning every day.

Location was absolutly brilliant, breakfast provided by use of a voucher at the brilliant cafe across the road. Perfect.

Maybe if the owner spoke just a little English, but not really a problem
