Great location close to oldtown, friendly and helpful owner with English skills, clean room, excellent coffee and well equipped, comfortable rooftop terrace for breakfast. The guests can use the terrace all day, not only during breakfast, and it is well protected againt sunshine and rain as well. The side cover can be rolled up if not needed, the see-through coverage material ensures a great view to the castle, irrespectively of the weather. A pretty heavy rainstorm hit the city on our last days spent there,but thanks to the covered terrace we could enjoy our breakfast panorama each day undisturbed. The owner, Giulio, also offered us and indoor breakfast, and as we chose rather staying outside, he accepted our preference as a matter of course. The owner's hospitality is not questionable, he offered information about sights and despite of a temporary and heavy rainstorm his coffee made our day.

Be prepared against mosquitos (no net on window). The neighbouring restaurant might be noisy. Our window opened above the rooftop of restaurant, inwhich the TV was on and shouting loud ca. between 5:00-5:30 am. We closed the window which is soundproof, so the problem was solved. This did not eliminate the great experience and our positive opinion about this accommodation, we would visit again for sure.

Next to historic centre. We were allowed to park our car just in front of the house (and got no fine from the police, but if was off-season). The host was welcoming. Breakfast was nice.

As we stayed there in March, you could see that appartment was not used on daily basis (off-season) and you could smelled mould in the room and bathroom as well. The shelf in the shower was rusty. The bathroom and the room were clean otherwise. I believe that during peak season everything would be fine.

The owner provided an exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was superb. The position of the accommodation was also excellent. Very central for all the things Otranto has to offer.

We would have liked to eat at the restaurant next to the accommodation but the noise from another restaurant higher up & opposite, was so loud it stopped us wanting to eat nearby.

Great location in the heart of Otranto, on a super sweet street with restaurants and bars. Rooms are quite simple but great value for money. Host also super helpful. All about the location on this one!

Road is a little lively and noisy but didn't bother us too much.

The place was very clean, within walking minutes from the historic center and the host was extremely kind and nice. He gave us suggestions on where to go and prepared us a delicious breakfast. Overall the place was lovely and definitely would suggest to anyone who plans to spend a few days in Otranto

Host was accommodating with our delayed flight. Bedroom was nice.

Breakfast was packed food, stuff you would buy from a supermarket like euro spin or lidl. Dry-ish pastries, so perhaps explore other options in the morning if you want something a bit more variety / fresh foods.

Location is perfect, 100m from both the beach and the old city entrance. Lovely views of the old city walls. Room is basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast in restaurant incl. Great value

It was out of season, but the friendly owner met me to open up the property at a convenient time, shortly after I arrived in Otranto. He also provided a sumptuous breakfast buffet just for me next door. The location could not be better, right next to the walls of the old city and on a generally quiet street.

My only criticism was that the morning coffee tasted less fresh than one might like, but given the seasonal nature of the destination it's hardly surprising!

I did three B&Bs in one week to visit southern Puglia and this one really made me want to post a review. (Precision : In this B&B I passed one night). The most notable point: the owner is a really nice person. He is kind, polite, very good mannered, available and responds immediately to messages. Honestly, you can feel that he puts his heart into it until breakfast. Second point, the location is ideal. Perfect for visiting the historical centre and the beaches. Everything is within a 30 second walk. The beautiful less touristy beaches are a 25 minute walk away and you have to ask for directions as it is not intuitive. Nothing serious the locals are friendly and google map is your friend. The room is simple and clean (a bit of dust under the bed so not a big deal). Nothing negative to add. BP

Spacious lovely clean room, we enjoyed being so close to everything we could walk down to the water and boats and stay out for hours. beds were very comfortable. Breakfast and the host were really lovely.
