The location of the hotel couldn’t be beat—it was at the far East end of the city, and the furthest away we had to walk was the SM Novella train station (about 30 minutes from door-to-door). The staff was very friendly and helpful, aside from a minor confusion about early check-in.

Booking.com let us request an early check-in, which the hotel seemingly approved (about a month before travel); day of, we were told we couldn’t check in early, but we were welcome to leave our bags locked up. An acceptable compromise, but after 12 hours of travel, being told you have to kill 3 more hours in a city where you haven’t been yet at all is a hefty proposition.

The room was very spacious. I also liked that the hotel is pet-friendly.

I had a ‘do not disturb’ sign on my door when I left the room for the day because I didn’t want my room made up, and my towels were hanging on the hooks in the bathroom as I didn’t want new ones. When I came back to the hotel my room was made up and I received 2 sets of new towels…they're encouraging sustainable travel and giving guests the option to do something about it so they should respect their choices.

The view of my room was fabulous. The room was clean. Basic but clean. There was a problem with the room but was resolved with no issues. The location is great- a bit away from the dome but also more normal/local.

It was a bit in need of repairs (the door frame to the bathroom was half broken), the lobby toiletswere full of mosquitos. The A/C in some of the rooms was smelly.

Very clean room, hot shower, good wifi making for a comfortable stay. Good air-con (very important in Florence when its 40C) with good breakfast for €7. Spacious funky lobby area with the ability to buy drinks, snacks and any emergency essential toiletries you may need or forgot to bring.

Arrived late and although it is in a quiet area, it is not in a very lit up part of town so if you are coming with suitcases, plan for that so that you are not vulnerable to the happenings of the city, wandering around at night in the dark trying to find the hotel. There are no immediate bus stops outside the hotel and you still have to walk a bit from nearest ones. Would be nice if the hotel had a restaurant for lunch and evening meals.

Very comfortable beds (especially the pillows), air conditioning working great, absolutely amazing view from the window (in room on the 5th floor). Very good bus connection to the train station. All attractions are within the walking distance, but in rather calm neighborhood, so it's peaceful and quiet at night. Additionally there's lovely local cafe very close to the hotel in which you can have great coffee and fresh, Italian pastries very cheaply- we went there for breakfast every day.

Unfortunately we've found some ants on the table and on the floor. Also the walls could use some painting.

The staff was very friendly and helping, always meeting you with a smile. The room itself was pretty small but clean, light and comfortable. The terrace had a spectacular view matching the posted photos. As for the location, it was not really far from the center (around 20 mins on foot) and the area itself felt safe. The place was easy to find and quite noticeable. I didn't have any issues during my stay and enjoyed it in general

The walls and curtains do need some renovation. It was not a problem to me but the walls were scratched and curtains had tiny holes, this could be improved. The terrace could be cleaned better too

Modern, clean easy hotel to stay in. 5 minutes walk from the river, and town center. Staff very helpful, and had everything ready for arrival. reception has everything you could need so you don't have to worry about buying water etc outside the hotel to bring back. great staff.

Coffee machine a pain to use if you don't have the correct change. Noisy road if you open the windows, but it is in a city!! Rooms have all the beds made up even for single occupancy. so I had 1 double beds a sofa bad for 2 and a single bed all made up. I only needed one bed, so room felt tight with everything made up.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, good location. In between stadium and city centre

Passage in front of bed too narrow and then became narrower due to flat TV attached to the wall. Hit my shoulder to the TV twice. My son hit his head multiple times. Hot and cold water alternating all the time during showers.

The room clean, modern, fantastic view of Florence! Location out of the chaotic center, but just 20 minutes walk to get in there. I did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Pubblic transport in the area did not work properly I had to take taxis.

Location was good, you could jump on buses to see the main attractions of Florence or even walk to the Duomo/main square in 20mins. Beds were comfy, room was tiny but clean. The woman at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Room and bathroom in room were very small. The bathroom was also tiny, and the elevator was slow/sometimes didn't work. Would have been nice to get some water bottles in the room, there was no mini fridge.
