I liked the room and the breakfast was very good every day, especially the coffee. However, I would like from owner to describe better in the info on where the room is exactly (Florence has 2 different street codes for business and housing - so in the same street there was a 78N and a 78 200m further). The owner gave us a picture of where the apartment was actually, but a few more details would be great. Also, would be great to have the exit sign in English too. We spent hours trying to figure out where are the stairs because the elevator sometimes does not work (tenants from other floors were forgetting to close the doors of the elevator)

We both loved the location - it. felt like we were living with the locals. I booked this for my husband’s 50th birthday and the property didn’t disappoint. The balcony was super as we spent the evenings looking across Florence, chilling with a beer. An intimate space/reception with a good selection of food for breakfast. Christina (the receptionist/waitress/domestic/tour guide/problem solver looked after us superbly - nothing was too much trouble- she gave us ideas of where to visit particularly off the beaten track. She was always so friendly and keen to help - thank you for making our trip so memorable 😍

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like!

Breakfast area & choice Room spacious and clean enough The huge terrace in our room Honey pots

No toiletries in bathroom The lift broke once and we had to get the stairs - this is on the 5th floor, thankfully we got the luggage up in the lift previously before it broke There was no luggage storage before/after check out There was no humans around to ask questions, or check us in; only the lady at breakfast the next day who spoke almost no English (very polite, but language barrier caused a issue). But instructions for check in were given before hand, so checking in was fine, upon check out you pay the city tax.

We love Firenze and B&B The Attico was the perfect headquarters to explore it from as two couples, us and and my parents. Modern facilities, beautiful views, a good breakfast and the perfect location. You can catch the City sightseeing red bus just around the corner, there is a movie theater and laundry close by and restaurants and gellato can be found everywhere. The lift is the only way to access the B&B and it is small (I would say 2 people only) and takes a bit of figuring out, but I am sure everyone would also complain if they had to take 5 flights of stairs with luggage :-). We loved the balcony and the air-conditioning was especially welcome in the heatwave, but did give one of the two rooms we rented a bit of a funny smell, but this was preferable to the heat. Our hostess was kind and my parents enjoyed talking to her.

This was a beautiful property everything is modern and clean. The view from our balcony was nice. A view at night of the bustling city below. Though it was so noisy on the street below with the door closed it was quiet. It was very comfortable for the three of us and breakfast was perfect. I am not sure what the ladies name was that got us cappuccinos in the morning but she was very pleasant.

The elevator was complicated at first to figure out, but it’s probably because we do not have elevators like that in America 😂. It was difficult for us to figure out some things on our own like how to work out all the modern technology. But I would definitely stay there again it was a pleasant stay. PS next time I would catch a cab from the train station it was a long walk with all our luggage.

A charming place to stay. Loved the balcony in our room with its view of the Palazzo Vecchio and surrounding hills. Rooms are clean and tasteful. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Breakfasts were Continental, taken in main room with sunny balcony and great views. Taxis really easy to book should you want one, though it’s only a 15 min walk into the centre of Florence. Close to Santa Croce church and in a bustling, fun, safe neighbourhood. Ask for a balcony room .

Would have appreciated a bit more information before our stay about the lift which is a bit unusual!

We loved our stay here, the room was great, and the balcony was even better, the view was great! Very clean room and quite spacious as well.

The only downfall is that you can only get the lift up and down, no stairs. There was 1 night we tried to get the lift up, someone hadn't shut the lift door properly on one of the floors which meant the lift couldn't move. So we had to walk to that floor to get to the lift. It would be much worse if you were trying to get out of the apartment because you can't get down to shut a door.

Very modern, nice city view, great location outside of the main tourist area yet within walking distance to all attractions. Good breakfast and overall great property and stay. Would recommend

Had problems with the elevator (lift) 2x, however, the owners were very responsive and available as needed. Would have liked more personal interaction with the owners and/or staff. No one there to physical great you when arriving or concerned about providing transportation service to you. They provided number to call, but other hotels arranged taxi for you either for arrival or departure to train or airport. Seemed not a warm and friendly as other hotels, etc. As you did not have that personal connection, yet paid the same amount if not more.

Super helpful staff. The B&B is located in a less-touristy part of the city and is a lot less crowded. Very close to local transport to the main train station. Very relaxing with the balcony, nice breakfast. Fast wifi as well!

Breakfast may be limited for those who have dietary restrictions, but there is a mini fridge and kettle in the room.

The apartment is on the 5th floor and has a lovely balcony overlooking Florence. The decor and finishes are exceptional and the staff and breakfast provided are outstanding. Major sights are within walking distance. There were a few restaurants and shops around the accommodation.

The apartment does not have parking which makes offloading luggage and then finding parking difficult especially if you are travelling with a family and have a largish car and fair amount of luggage. The small lift - while quaint - is also a bit of a challenge with large luggage. Pre-arranged parking or a parking permit would make this accommodation absolutely outstanding.
