The hotel was walking distance from the Frascati station. Luca, the attendant was very friendly, waited for our late check-in. The room was traditional and okay.

The room did not have air conditioning, as mentioned in the booking. The air conditioning was not allowed by the owner in general in the months of our stay. Breakfast did not include any eggs and was limited.

Very friendly and competent staff. Always welcoming. Brought our luggage up to our room from downstairs. Central and very beautiful location. Very convenient to train into Rome. Very comfortable outside terrace. Quiet at night. Good beds. Good breakfast.

We would have appreciated some comfortable furniture (armchairs or sofa) in the Junior Suite after a long day of hiking. There is a hotel bar/cafe but it’s opening hours were unclear.

A very traditional 3-star hotel with a professional feeling. A bit worn, but still very OK. It has everything one would expect from such an establishment. Very clean -- even overcleaned. Every day the cleaners threw out the used soap bar and brought a new one -- maybe considered a stylish move a long time ago, but not anymore. Wifi worked well, required logon daily. Central location. Hotel was sold out, but no sounds through interior walls (only coming from the streets).

Sounds are carried from the outside through closed windows. Breakfast was very basic and served in the basement. Staff did not speak much English, but everything was taken care of. If you have a room facing the square (a relatively low probability, the hotel is wedge-shaped), expect more noise ask to switch rooms.

Great location and feels like a familiar place. I had an accident in the shower and staff was very diligent in helping and assisting me.

The air conditioning doesn’t work constantly or based on guest preferences, apparently it is centrally controlled. The staff’s English proficiency could be improved

Colonna is a very nice hotel. My room was very nice, the bed and pillows very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. My only complaint is that the shower cabin was small and it is not comfortable taking a shower in there. But it is not a terrible thing, the good thing was that the water pressure was perfect and the shampoo nice :) The breakfast is very nice, nothing exotic but with many choices and excellent quality.

Centrally located within Frascati - easy access to all areas of the village. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was well sized and clean, having all the amenities. Breakfast was good.

Due to the historic town, not all taxis may get you to the front door. There was also no view from the room - narrow road so you just see the opposite building even though the room says "City View". Otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

The hotel staff is a family and they are very friendly. They helped us with restaurants and other suggestions. The breakfast was good especially bearing in mind that one will have a substantial dinner the evening before. The location is very central and nearby restaurants, bars, shops and the centre of town. By train you can easily reach Rome which we did for 4 days. It is a beatiful retreat compared to the busy city of Rome.

Well, there was no real white bread for brekafast. I found some kind of toast, but that was poor... Italy has a sophisticated white bread culture which was not to see. This was my main problem with the hotel. Otherwise it is fine.

Well, I got a code for WIWI which was not working, but that was not a serious problem for me.

Great value for money, excellent central location, a three star hotel that delivers the experience of a high end boutique city hotel. The decor is quite kitschy but it adds to the lively Italian atmosphere one expects to find in these small charming towns of Italy!
