A fantastic view and a lovely historic villa. We were extremely satisfied with our vacation. Conveniently close to Ciampino Airport, about 10 minutes by train. The charming town of Frascati. The 20-minute walk uphill is not too hard at all (though it would be nice if the hotel provided a shuttle service between the train station and the hotel a few times a day). From Frascati, it’s about 30 minutes to the center of Rome by train, so you can spend a day around the Colosseum as well, for example. I don’t recommend this hotel for families with children, but it’s perfect for a getaway for a couple!

After Rome, this was a great getaway. Only 40 min from the center, on a hill, with an unbeatable view on Rome Valley and Hills. Sunset is also great! The villa impresses very much, old but with all modern facilities. Breakfast is great. There is all you need (imho). And the service is outstanding. Very careful personnel. And the price for all this Beauty is quite modest. I forgot: the room view to the valley was something. You need to see it. Aircon worked very well in a very hot day. And of course you need to discover the region. Lots of scenic places and before all Albano lake.

There was a little problem with the shower bit nothing special. Also the bed for too soft. We literally sank in it.

EXCEPTIONAL This hotel is a charming-well-preserved historical villa with a magnificent garden and awesome scenery. Room and bathroom were spotless, with a generous selection of toiletries. Breakfast was superb hot and cold buffet. I was part of a large group of 79 people who stayed at this hotel to attend the wedding of my son in July 2023. The setting, the organisation and the food for both the reception and the dinner were beyond expectations. I was very impressed by the hotel entire team, including the front desk staff, waiters, technicians etc…who went above and beyond duty to attend to the guests’ demands promptly, efficiently and with a big friendly smile….A big thank you to the cleaning staff who found my watch accidentally while preparing the room for the next guests after I had checked out and left the hotel. All in all, it was an enjoyable and a memorable stay. Well done Tuscolana.

The villa is so impressive sitting at the top of the Tusculum Hills, potentially the location of one of Cicero's villas, and there are Roman remains around the hotel to look at. Get a room with a city view, and you won't be disappointed as there are excellent views over Rome and to the east, the Alban hills. Breakfast had a large variety to choose from, and the staff are all welcoming and friendly, particularly the bar staff. The outdoor swimming pool has been opened very recently and is free to use.

Not much with the hotel, but if you are planning to go into the nearest town - Frascati for the evening, maybe use a taxi. We had a car and parking was near impossible. So many cars are looking for too few spaces.

One-of-a-kind stay! High above Rome in the hills. Beautiful interior as well as exterior. Very peaceful. Plentiful breakfast included. Ordered a meal on the terrace as well as ate in the dining room. Superb service and food.

Hallways in common areas to rooms are dark - you need to turn on the switch at the end of the hallway. Getting there is a bit of a journey. You need a taxi or rental car from airport or central train station it is about 30 minutes depending on time of day. There is no self serve coffee machine available after breakfast.

Amazing views of Roman metropolitan area, very interesting historical building, really good and helpful staff, our baby was sick and they gave us a lot of help, food at the restaurant was amazing!

It takes a bit more time to get around (general for the region, not the property), there were some amenities missing in the room (like electric kettle), which make it more difficult if you are travelling with a baby

The villa is on a hill, and you have a beautiful view, while the villa itself is also beautiful. The nearest town is also pretty, and we enjoyed eating there and having drinks while taking in the beautiful views from all corners of the town.

The villa is located a bit far from Rome and the nearest town. Transportation is limited, so a car is highly recommended. Otherwise, be prepared for a 20-minute walk uphill. We opted for walking without a car, as taxi fares were very much overpriced.

Magnificent villa. Beautiful location. Gorgeous hotel. Excellent dinner & really great restaurant manager/host. Thank you for making the dining experience a memorable one - especially your knowledge of local wines, etc.

Lacklustre welcome/checkout by reception staff! Smile! Be enthusiastic & welcome your guests with a friendly service. Breakfast buffet could be more attended to & topped up… Nothing explained to us about spa, pool (not sure if it could be used), general hotel facilities when checking in - other than the restaurant.

Amazing location set in beautifully maintained grounds. close to Rome and Frascati with many eateries. we were surprised that this is not registered as a 5 star hotel - a real gem. Staff were great too, and a special thank you to Marta for changing our room to accommodate our daughter too. Views are fantastic Also breakfast options were really good and offered several options for those with milk intolerance and as someone that is wheat intolerant, a special gluten free table was set aside:

Great views across the city from the hotels location. Beautiful period home with great gardens . Breakfast was served in a fabulous room. Breakfast was fine.

The location isn't the easiest to finfd, particularly in the dark. There was no restaurant, we had to go into Frascati for a bite to eat. Although we later discovered we could have got a snack such as toasted sandwiches. We only knew this from reading a sign on the bar. Reception staff were ok. But I had to tell them the bar was unstaffed to which I was told someone would be called...eventually I had to find someone myself to serve us.
