Nestled in a private and peaceful tranquil setting with spectacular views from the wonderfully maintained, extensive gardens and terraces, just over the Baia di San Francesco. The Hotel Tritone has an elegant atmosphere. Guests are delighted by a superb staff, from the moment of check-in, the front desk personnel was extremely welcoming and helpful, making the stay truly special. The staff at the therms was great, suggesting the best personalised treatment. A special mention for the staff of restaurant: they’re anticipating every wish without being pushy, genuinely pleased that their guests are so delighted to be there.

Great old-school 4 star 1990s Italian seaside resort in great condition. The hotel’s private beach was great. 99% old Italian and German couples having a chill time.

Some segments of the staff, particularly the guys that worked the outdoor breakfast terrace were incredibly rude and obviously don’t care or seem cognizant of the fact that they are the first people that guests have to interact with in the morning. Not pleasant.

The beach was fantastic, sun beds provided with a private section only dedicated to hotel guests. The rooms with sea view are incredible. Buffet breakfast. Staff Location , 15 mins walk to Forio town with plenty of great restaurants to choose from.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! My wife and I felt very relaxed and happy with our stay. Very welcoming reception staff. The half board was worth every penny with amazing & delicious dinner every night. The pools were beautiful and well maintained with sea water (jets, water bike) & the beach although small very enjoyable. The indoor SPA with 3 thermal pools and steam sauna was excellent. The room are very tastefully furnished, the bed was comfortable, the lighting very good. In the bathroom we found, in addition to the usual bath towels, beach towels, flip-flops and bathrobes. The hotel is full of aesthetics and romantic. The hotel is about a 15 min. drive to Forio, 10 mi. to Negombo Thermal Park and 20 min. to Giardini Poseidon Thermal Park.

The only flaw is that there is no shuttle service.

The hotel is lovely and the pictures really do not do it justice. There is lots of indoor and outdoor space including in the gardens just to sit and contemplate life or have a conversation. The proximity to the beach is excellent and the beach service is spot on. There is also a small supermarket 20 meters from the hotel entrance. Our room was quiet, had a garden and sea view and was away from the main hotel, so lovely and quiet for us. Without exception, all the staff are amazing, friendly, welcoming and helpful even though our Italian was poor. The food at breakfast and dinner was of a good quality and once you got used to deciding what you wanted for dinner at breakfast it all went well. The hotel did what we wanted to and that was to help us wind down and relax. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk into Forio, a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus route and a 15 minute walk to the Giardini La Mortella.

The entertainment at night was repetitive and there wasn't a quiet bar to sit in without there being music. While we had a balcony, 2 chairs and a table it really wasn't big enough to be able to comfortably sit outside without it feeling like solitaire every time you wanted to move or open/ close the shutters.

Very nice hotel , great location , in a cove with a small intimate beach, with some stones but without beiya problem. The sunbeds are included. We were in a big group , families with teenagers, we chose the half board option, the dinner was very good. The hotel is very well maintained , with attention to details, lots of greenery. Another plus is that you can reach Forio on foot in 15-20’.

You should know when choosing the hotel that there are a lot of elderly guests. For us it was not a problem because we were in a large group.

This hotel is perfect. The grounds are massive so I was expecting a very busy and noisy hotel but that was not the case at all. As there are two outdoor pool areas, one indoor and the beach there are plenty of options for people. There was never a fight for sunbeds there was always space available whatever time of day you went to the pools/beach. All pool areas were so nice be sure to try them all and the beach. Rooms were very nice and clean - perfect! Location is great there are a few nice local restaurants nearby and a lovely market close to the hotel.

You will need to travel if you want to see other parts of the island like ischia porto, forio and sant agnello or visiting the thermal spas like Poseidon; As the hotel is not walking distance to any of these. Taxis are very expensive on the island so I would suggest renting a car if you want to see the island. However if do want to stay local and not travel there are plenty of local restaurants close by and a market.

we loved the property, it was vast, clean, efficient and resourceful. It had all you wanted if you like swimming. the wellness area with mineral salty water pools and a sauna was the best part, because almost nobody was using it, since everyone was at the beach or the outdoor pools. in any other place, it would have been the main attraction but it speaks to the options this hotel has to be entertained all day. the breakfasts were sufficient, the dinners were nice, if not excessive, nobody should eat that much food. skip the salad bar if you are not a big eater, it was the weakest part, the rest was served and sufficient for the dinner (and also very tasty!). their desserts were amazing and they had a wide array of options for anyone (fruit, lemon sorbet, ice cream and amazing daily array of cakes).

this place could be easily a 5 star hotel, if the services were a bit warmer, more attentive and friendly and they added shuttle bus (even paid one!) from the nearest ferry (not just private expensive shuttle from the airport), so you don't end up overpaying for scammy taxi drivers. W often felt overlooked and our orders were forgotten a couple of times. Oh and add a coffee machine to the room or even a kettle for tea making, it's ridiculous it's not included. it should not be a question for the price! we got sick and I had to pay 4e for each cup of tea (plus 5e if you wanted it delivered in the room from the bar around the corner- literally 5m further than the last bar table).

one of our booked rooms was a room with a see view, but we got room with a proper view only after complaining about first offered room which has a view in to a wall according to the request of having two rooms close to each other (as we were family) few months in advance, I would expect it to be taken in the account

I took the daily dinner meal plan. The wait staff at the restaurant were so amazing - friendly, welcoming & exceptionally hard working. This and the stunning outdoor views were my favorite part of the stay. Walking distance to Forio town (20 minutes along the beach road, few or no cars) was a big plus. Loved my stay!

The dinners as part of the food plan were incredibly awful, hard uncuttable chicken, pungent dried out fish. Really bad for the first 4 or 5 days of my stay. Then suddenly the food was very good…I was told there is a different chef each night. So some management oversight and training (or better hiring) would greatly benefit the hotel. Breakfast buffet was always a good quality and consistent.
