This hotel is a gem. We booked a 5 night stay and we absolutely loved it. This place is designed for relaxation and is a great jumping off point for exploring the region. All of the facilities- pool, dining room, bedroom are lovely and well appointed. But the best thing is how accommodating the staff are. All of the staff, but particularly Yaunes at the desk, made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. They were very accommodating, answered our questions and created a very positive vibe. The rooms are large and uncluttered and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinners were terrific. Someone noted that they don't serve lunch, but they have a bar menu that includes items like salads with protein that are more and enough for lunch. Another plus is the free shuttle that takes you to the station or into the town. It was also easy to walk into town on our own but I would not recommend trying to walk to the hotel with luggage.

small thing- a larger shower stall would be nice.

Only a three minutes downhill walk to reach the train station. For return either call reception to dispatch the shuttle to pick you up or walk uphill. The latter is recommended at night or in the evening. A very pleasant surprise was the vintage HiFi gear from the lobby bar being completely at your disposal. Even the vinyl record selection matched my taste. The restaurant staff explained carefully the daily Chef's recommendations of haute cuisine. And indeed haute cuisine it was. Also very prompt response from reception staff when calling to request the shuttle. The same staff gives you useful hints where or how to go to find better swimming spots. The chimes coming from village churches is the most enchanting.

The architectural style is one of the most peculiar I've seen in the area. Unexpected finishing materials for the hotel building and for the furniture as well. You would not amaze yourself finding such materials and finishing in a two star hotel but here it came as a unpleasant surprise. Although very close to Carrara the flooring is done allover with cheap ceramics. Also the air conditioning system was so noisy that during night we had to switch it off and keep the balcony door open, that of course whilst using mosquito repellent (unprovided but in sale at a Chinese store the the village). A medium voltage aerial power line crosses the property, but not just over the building though.

The staff especially the gentlemen at reception are amazing. They are friendly and welcoming I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The shuttle bus to different locations is a bonus and the fact that they will pick you up as well is fantastic.

The property is so beautiful and has amazing views of Levanto. We managed to use the pool as well and the kids had a ton of fun. The breakfast spread was great as well with tons of options for everyone. The staff is super they are so helpful and kind , I think I may have called Yasin ( front desk staff) ten times asking for different things and he always so wonderful and patient.The other front desk gentleman was also so kind and helpful. Their shuttle service to the train station or village is so convenient, you can walk down to the train station too but it’s great to have this service when you have so many bags. The general manager at this property is also wonderful and stepped in right away to help us when we were in a pinch. This is one of the most hospitable properties I have been to ever. Not just my experience but even other guests ahead of us they right away took care of any issues. Levanto might not be one of the five villages but this property is so close to them and we all thought it was much more beautiful then some of the five villages. Excellent stay we will be back!

We had an incredible stay at the hotel during our last trip! Here are a few more highlights: • The dinner was simply awesome, with each dish crafted to perfection and delighting our taste buds. The variety and quality of the meals were exceptional. • The staff were exceptionally helpful and serviable, especially Younes and Toufic, who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their professionalism and friendliness truly enhanced our experience. • The general manager was so kind and welcoming, personally ensuring that all our needs were met and that we felt right at home. • The hygiene standards were top-notch, with meticulous attention to cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel. This gave us great peace of mind during our stay. • The ambiance of the hotel was warm and inviting, creating a perfect environment for relaxation and enjoyment. • The amenities were excellent, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience! We can’t wait to return.

Nothing at all

This is a beautiful little hotel with incredible views of the surrounding hills. It is a very short walk to the train station (5-7 minutes) which takes you to Monterosso and other Cinque Terre cities within, again, minutes. The staff is friendly and restaurant is delicious- especially the breakfast and seating on the terrace surrounded by roses. We loved it.

Our room was situated one floor below the restaurant and it was quite noisy (people walking around upstairs, rolling carts, washing dishes) until around 10:30 pm. Ask for a room away from the kitchen.

Well managed buffet breakfast with all standard options plus al a carte available. Restaurant and bar provided great service and quality.

A five minute walk up/down the hill on a footpath across land owned by the hotel was the easiest way to the local station for travelling along the cinque Terre. The path however was not clearly marked, was a rough dirt track, and it took us 3 days to work out the most direct route through the different paths.

The standard at this hotel has remained exceptionally high (we visited it a few years ago). It has a brilliant breakfast arrangement where the usual buffet style mayhem is replaced by the lovely staff who give you what you want and make sure it doesn't run out. Parking no problem ample space for everyone. We didn't use the free shuttle bus but walked the short walk to the train station to get to the villages. Very hot outside but air conditioning coped well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and worked exceptionally hard and the whole place was well run.

Unusually, I couldn't find any faults with this hotel it is exceptional.

The staff were wonderful and tried to meet all of our needs. The view from our balcony was incredible. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. The room was large. We loved the city of Levanto which is so charming and filled with good restaurants - perfect gateway to visiting Cinque Terre without the huge crowds in those cities.

The room was fairly sterile and lacked character. We were unable to manage our own room termperature so we were either too cold or too hot.

We loved this hotel! Our room was large and very comfortable and we had a lovely terrace with an amazing view of the area. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful, they have a great chef and excellent staff. The "on demand" shuttle was a very pleasant surprise, we were very grateful to have this great convenience. The front desk staff were so nice and gave us very good information on what to do in the area. They also made wonderful suggestions to make our visit more enjoyable,

The only downside was a quirky air conditioning system. Because of the weather, off season, the air conditioning was not what we are accustomed to and our room was occasionally too warm. A minor inconvenience.
