Beach Hotel Du Lac Malcesine

Location was fantastic, great value views, right on the lake for a swim, pool around the back of the hotel (no lake view), restaurant and terrace have lake view and a wide menu with delicious food. The bruschetta is massive and there is flavors to choose from. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Air Con worked well in the heat. Free Parking available.

There was no lift up to the penthouse on the 5th floor. You can get up to the 4th floor in the lift then have to take the stairs. Would be useful to know that if you had accessibility requirements.

Location was ideal. Not right in the center of town but an easy walk along the lake to it. The room size was large. The ac was great. The breakfast was very good esp having an omelette made and fresh cut ham. The large balcony overlooking the lake was fabulous

The shower was among the smallest I have ever been in. Having such a large rain shower head made it impossible to get out from under it and the hand held was just tough to use since the stall was so small. But we survived😃

It is very close to the lake - just a few meters from the water so that you can enjoy it more often than most other hotels. Great view on the lake. No roads between the hotel and the lake. Walking distance to Malcesine, with its restaurants and sightseens. Very nice rooms, good breakfast, great service.

The parking slots can be a bit challenging for big cars.

A perfect location lakeside, this hotel offers free parking which is premium along the lake. The receptionist was very helpful, spoke good English and couldnt have made our stay more pleasurable. A short lakeside walk into Malcesine, this hotel is Wonderful. Clean, spacious rooms with a stunning view. The beds are comfortable, bathroom modern and all in all a lovely room. There is a private small pier on the 'beach' where you can take drinks and snacks while enjoying the view and sun. Towels are provided, we decided to enjoy the pool area after the beach which has sun loungers and large comfortable sun beds. Its hard to choose between lakeside and pool, although the pool is close to the main Rd which is less relaxing than the former. There was free tea, coffee and cake on the the anoon and the hotel recommended restaurants for the evening. Breakfast with a view was very nice, great choice and very tasty. A waitress came rou d with tasters while we were eating and my partner had a chef made omelette and bacon which she really enjoyed. Overall I couldnt recommend this hotel enough and certainly hope to stay again.

Not a single thing, I couldnt fault anything about this property. The only small area for consideration would be more Gluten free options at the restaurant (pasta, bread etc)

I loved the violinist playing on a Wednesday breakfast We loved the coffee and cake afternoon everyday. I loved the chef at breakfast doing fresh omelette’s to your order.

The air on had a rattling fault when it was on for a while which was quite annoying. I would have really like a crunchy apple at breakfast but they are quite soft and maybe an orange.

The location is very good! Just in front of the lake! When you enjoying a meal at their restaurant, the scenery in front of you is incredibly awesome. Bus station is only 50 meters far, very convenient. The waiters are funny and enthusiastic!

Maybe there are mites on the quilt. It made me itchy.. And cough. But it’s not a big problem.

Beautiful location; easy access to Malcesine; lovely terrace; lovely, friendly staff. Nice to have pool & lake beach options. Generous buffet breakfast.

Not enough sun beds on beach for guests; little shading on the hotel beach (e.g. no beach umbrellas).

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Location 10/10. Hotel 10/10. Staff 10/10. Parking 10/10. Could Not fault this hotel. We are on a road trip from Scotland around Europe and we are hoping to change our plans to return to this amazing hotel

The position of the hotel is fabulous. Close to lake, town, ferries in fact everything. Good amenities too. Next time we will choose a Lake front room as the mountain view rooms at the back of the hotel are very small
