Beautiful resort, Carla is the Best of all, the staff were very helpful and made my stay smooth. She is very nice. She responded quickly to my messages and when I needed anything, she always made it happen.

Traveling to the city is quite far.

definitely the pool and the view…

5 star ?! hmm don’t think so, definitely a well serviced hotel, but… not a 5 star, restaurant in the hotel… 6.5/10, quite outside the city… could use the shuttle of the hotel or taxi… but it’s a little far out. wished they had placed a LADDER to also swim in the sea…

I like that the resort is in a very secluded location, so it's very private. Restaurant and pool staff was very customers oriented they went above and beyond to make us happy. I also like the extra care the day of my birthday. Food is amazing! It s worth to have lunch or dinner there. The interior design of the room and the overall decor of the resort is very relaxing and natural.

It all worked great. I would just recommend the reception staff to be more welcoming. Before asking for reservation or payment it would have been nice to get a "how was your trip/how was your stay, etc". That said I cannot really complain they were quick and effective.

The 2 bedroom family room; restaurant food; beach club facilities and the divine sunsets.

Beach club was a bit of a ‘scene’ with mostly day trippers; umbrellas didn’t give much shade.

Breakfast was good could use more selection of fruits and other breakfast choices! The location was amazing but really hard to go down and up on that street and very scary our car didn’t fit the turns and we always had to back up!

The breakfast could use more selection! There was no gym we had to find a gym to go too! For a 5 star resort should have a gym and a boutique where we can buy snacks and suntan lotion and other stuff that guest might need

I liked everything about this property. The location is far enough away to have its own private oasis, however close enough to Sorrento with the hotels shuttle. The ambience, design, and overall atmosphere, make this a destination location, and I will certainly be back to visit. The hotel staff is amazing and go out of your way to make you feel at home. Front desk crew were so helpful. Delores, Melania, Ezekiel and Maria all helped make our stay memorable. Pool area staff too! Both Francesco’s and Maria. there are lots of other people I don’t remember their names, but they were also very helpful and friendly.

there isn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

We had a great pleasure to stay in the Maya Hotel for 2 incredible nights. Notwithstanding that it were working days, pool area was not so crowded. Perfect service have been provided during all stay. Really tasty food in menu. Most of all we enjoy design of Maya resort, it reminds Mexican Tulum. The hotel is located in the harbour between the rocks, which gives a feeling of privacy. There you will not meet random passers-by, only hotel visitors. Every room offers views of stunning sunsets. In the evening you can go to a restaurant or order sushi at a bar. The hotel is very different from typical Italian hotels, it is rather very stylish, fashionable and photogenic from any angle. My boyfriend proposed to me at sunset. We will definitely go back there one day!

That we had only 2 days. We would like to go back there on the weekend when there are great parties with DJs.

A very beautiful setting and the facilities and staff were terrific. The pool environment and food was very good quality, and access to the sea very good even if there wasn’t a beach.

A bit difficult to access via car due to the steep slope roadway leading to the property but this also made it remote and special. The Saturday night pool party went until 4am… they could have tone the music down after 1 or 2am at the latest

If you are after a remote location to rest, this is lovely. Weekends however music is loud in evenings.

Their music/playlist feels like it’s on repeat after a week of staying there. I think more chilled music would be nicer by the pool and crank it up in the late afternoon with the dance music . The music was a bit much first thing in the morning by the pool.

The venue was clearly very well taken care of. The layout of the pool with the sunbeds, the white and beige colors everywhere really made it seem like we were in a high-end resort on a remote island. The hotel is quite isolated ~7min from the main road and down a cliffside, so it actually stands alone and really feels like an isolated resort away from all the tourists of the amalfi coast. We got extremely lucky with the price, as a resort of this sort would usually cost >1000€ a night, especially given the all inclusive stays by the pool and breakfast. The food was delicious, the bloody marys were great. The staff were quite helpful, they agreed for us to change rooms to one with a seaside view, and to chill by the pool after checkout. We went during the week, but I would’ve actually liked to experience the parties happening over the weekends, they had some nice electronic loungey beats, the whole experience reminded me of Alemagou in mykonos. We were initially very skeptical about the place given the previous reviews, and thought the place would be a bit trashy, but it seems like every negative comment has been addressed, and the negative reviews are actually from a few years ago. A true gem!

I would actually suggest to the hotel to add extra pictures to make the place look credible. I can imagine that it would be difficult to get to without a car or taxi, but thats the price to pay for the “remoteness” of it, although I might’ve seen people take a shuttle from the hotel, not sure.
