The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful, very friendly. Breakfast was very nice, as I love continental. Choice also of cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, salad, & sweet pastries. The breakfast room was light and airy, and wonderful views from my balcony. There is a wee bar with a lady who is such a character. Although there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, reception will make you one any time you ask. I had rubbish weather, which they had never seen in May before. Typical.

It is too far a walk from Sorrento, for me with no paths, but this neck of the woods is all windy uphill roads, beautiful scenery though. Good bus service, €2, a short walk to the bus stop, taxi from Sorrento about €25 to €30, although beware on a night, they won't meter it and just charge you €40 or more. The last bus back was 10 pm ish, and he stopped right outside the hotel and shouted we were at the Dania as I had asked him to.

WIFI didn't work at all, cell phone internet connection didn't work either at the hotel area. There was no connection at the hotel. This is something that should work no matter where you are.

We highly recommend Hotel Dania. We stayed here whilst visiting Sorrento for our daughter's wedding. Our daughter's room was lovely with a private terrace and fabulous sea view where you can watch the sunset. This was a beautiful, tranquil setting for us to have some family time and to prepare for her special day. My husband and I also had a lovely room with sea view and overlooking an olive grove with Mount Vesuvius in the distance. We found the hotel to be very clean and with fresh, air-conditioned rooms. There is also a hotel car park which is most convenient. The staff are highly professional and friendly. A special 'thank you' to Monica and Tina for their wonderful service at the reception desk. In summary - this is a lovely, welcoming establishment. Grazie mille a tutti! Siete meravigliosi!

Nothing to dislike!

3 star hotel, 5 star staff, unluckily we went during low season so there was no pool. Central location would be ideal because you can count on 30 euro taxi from centre. The staff here were fantastic. Hooked us up with scooter rental, where I was collected for. Sorted out day excursion to capri and collected at hotel, so there was alot done to facilitate the distance out of centre. . Like I said 5 star staff. They are fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about them

Lovely little Italian hotel just on the outskirts of Sorrento, only 8 stops on the bus from the main centre of Sorrento, Which was perfect if you wanted to avoid all the crowds. The Staff were all absolutely amazing which made the place even better 👌 There is a small local shop a 2 minute walk away where you can get drinks etc and amazing rolls made to order, There is a small fishing village approximately 1 km down from the hotel which is amazing day and night you can swim here in the day as there aareas to bath also there are some fantastic restaurants to eat, in the evening the hotels will bring you back to the hotel Just be sure to either book with the behotel or just ask the restaurant manager before you sit down to eat, One eving the chef was going to bring us back using the golf buggy the restaurants use as it happened one of the locals dropped us back to the Hotel, but what a lovely gesture from the chef, Restaurant L’Angolo del mare da CAPUOZZO , for some reason the hotel does not have them on their list to bring you back but we eat here 3 times and recommended it to 3 older ladies one day and when we saw them at breakfast they said what an amazing restaurant and setting they had that night and how they enjoyed there ride back to the hotel. The views from this hotel are absolutely amazing, Once again a big thank you to all the staff,

The pool was cold when you first get in but you soon adjust, Breakfast not great but enough to get you started each day,

The location of this hotel was perfect for us being very close to Sorrento by bus but in a beautifully quiet location. As soon as we arrived ( earlier than check-in time), Monica advised that our room was ready. The view from our room was outstanding with the most beautiful sunsets and being able to watch the boats go passed. She also advised that they could organise 2 trips for you, these being both boat trips that we wanted to do, to Capri and the other to Amalfi and Positano with pick ups from the hotel. This saved us so much time by not having to go into Sorrento to organise. Monica and Tina also arranged for us to go to the little harbour ( which we didn't even realise was there) just below us for dinner in 2 of 4 restaurants down there. The owner picked up up and bought us back. We did this twice and had a fantastic meal both times. The swimming pool is beautiful with an amazing view from it. All staff were helpful and very friendly. We would definitely return. Thank you for a memorable holiday with my son.

The only issue we had was the noise from water pipes that seemed to run along the wall and when somebody ran water or flushed the chain if it was very noisy . This seemed to happen very early every morning.

Paola works in the bar area and really is the cherry on top during your stay here. She makes you feel like family in the short period of time you are there. We will always remember her fondly. The views, pool, terrace are all so comfortable and inviting. There was plenty of options for breakfast and the self serving coffee was amazing. We stayed on the 3rd floor, sometimes it felt a little too much stairs after a long day but it really wasn't that much of an inconvenience at all of you don't have difficulties with stairs. The walk to the bus stop was about 5 minutes and in a few stops your were where you needed to be.

The king bed was 2 twins that sometimes came apart and the bed was a little low. I would only remove a .5 for this as it didn't really bother us.

Amazing hotel, very comfortable, clean and tidy. The clean service is amazing!! Good location for those who want to relax and spend some time a way from city noise. All the staffs were very helpful, and pacient to explain everything you need. I strongly recommended it!

I think should have a mini fridge in the room because how it's a little bit far from city (for those who doesn't have car) and also it's a hot country during summer, we didn't have a place to keep things cold even buy sometinhg to keep on the room because we didn't where to put it.

The view was wonderful! You could see the sun setting behind Capri! The staff were friendly and helpful. It is run by a family and felt like it in a very good way.

This is a criticism of the entire Amalfi Coast, not just the hotel. There are too few sidewalks and the traffic is fast and dangerous. It is scary if you want to walk anywhere.

I only had coffee and juice when I made breakfast! Staff made the holiday as really friendly and informative. Day trips from the hotel were good value if a little short on time at venues! Walkable to Paolo beach which was nice as the pool too small for swimming.

I thought it would be walkable into Sorrento , but with no pavements that was too dangerous. Having to get a bus lost spontaneity, but wasn’t hard.
