The staff and location was the best part. We loved all the staff, they were so kind, nice and helpful!!! The location of Puntacamponella is the best, that’s the value… but the people make it the best experience. Stayed for 1 week and I’d do it again… my ONLY suggestion is to get rid of the pool fees. For 25€ per person, that’s 150€ for my family and I can go to the beach and get all the chairs and umbrellas for 50. Pool was dirty and so small… not even for adults. If the pool was included, this wouldn’t even be a suggestion and I would understand. Take it this way… I would spend more money staying in the hotel because the food is good and people are great, but when I’m charged for a pool per person, based off of principle I’m going to spend that money somewhere else. Missed out on a lot of drinks but charging this fee, just my suggestion…

Guests have to pay $25 per person to use the pool. It is more expensive than renting chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The pool is very small and the value is not there.

The property is located right in front of the beach. There is a direct bus from right outside to Sorrento (about 1hr long journey), as well as very good boat tours you can do to Amalfi coast or Capri from right outside which the hotel helps organise, but best to book in advance. The location is quite remote and quiet otherwise even in high season. There’s only a few good restaurant options really. All of the staff were very nice and helpful, but hotel stay is definitely overpriced in this location unfortunately.

Our room had shoe footprints on the wall, a quick wipe with a wet cloth would clean it off. Makes it seem lazy when it’s not even attempted to been cleaned. The housekeeping staff also didn’t restock any body wash or soap for a 4 night stay.

beautiful hotel. all the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned and towels were changed every day. we had a balcony room with a beautiful view of the sea and boats. a great place to have a quiet and relaxing holiday. the beach is stoney so you need flip flops or swimming shoes. you can hire a bed on the beach for €10 for the day and it’s well worth it. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. the resort is a bit out of the way if you want to sightsee, but the bus service is pretty good. There is a direct bus service to Sorrento a few times a day. The bus and train are so cheap, €1.40 from Nerano to Sorrento by bus. would highly recommend this resort. Jennie and her colleagues in the restaurant were so helpful and greeted us every morning like old friends.

Great location walking distance from many lovely restaurants and the marina Hotel was lovely, as was the restaurant on the roof Staff are very accommodating

We weren’t sure how to get around and had wrongly assumed we could get taxis There’s were ferries from the marina and boat tour stalls we used a boat company for private transfers which was worth it and added to the whole experience

Convenient bus stop that takes you to Sorrento so you can access other parts of the Amalfi coast.

The property was clean, my only two complaints are that housekeeping would always leave my room windows open after cleaning my room, this would allow bugs into my room since the windows do not have any screens. The shower drain was also pretty slow so the shower floor would often fill up which is gross.

On the bay, calm at night, activities and boat trips close, nice beaches close, 5 stars for the friendly hotel team.

For the price, they should offer a place at the beach and a towel. Also, to ask for 25€ to be in a swimimg pool for babies doesn't make any sense. Make it free!

This was the most perfect place for spending time surrounded by real beauty in nature. I am recently bereaved and I couldn’t have been in a better spot, sky, sea and cliffs. All the people at the spa and in the restaurants in the village, especially at Mary’s, were so kind and helpful. Wonderful

Minor complaints - given price - soft drinks in mini bar/fridge should be complimentary? Or at least put some pricing information in or near the fridge to make the system clear. I did also have to clean the shower tray waste as it was draining very slowly and blocked with (not our) hair!

Needed some updating. Restaurant on the roof empty of guests and a charge of€20 per person to sit at the roof top area was outrageous
