Excellent location near to the centre 15min walk. Staff on Reception were very friendly and helpful giving us the benefits of their local knowledge of the area and advise on how to best walk the sites. Gabriel on Reception was particularly helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Ample on site parking and close proximity to the centre meant we didnt need to use the car. Would definitely reccomend this accomodation for short stay visits to Matera.

it was comfortable, well placed with lots of parking and breakfast included.The staff were friendly and helpful with great knowledge of this beautiful town. If you are happy to stay a little out of the historic centre, with only a 10 minute walk then I highly recommend this venue.

The cooling system was adequate and the bells for 7am mass were a bit irritating

For a hotel of that caliber breakfast was reasonable. Close to the city centre. Staff were excellent and friendly except one night worker, not Giovani. The other person was not polite, maybe he did not speak any English at all. Giovani did not speak English either but he was very polite and helpful. Both Gabriella and Michaela were friendly and helpful. The breakfast girl tried her best to be nice although she did not speak English.

Air conditioning is a must for this hotel. Little standing fan that was provided did not help at all. The hotel owners said that they acquired the place only a month ago and are gradually improving the facilities. I accepted this explanation. I was promised a one big bed, not two small beds joined. That promise was not kept. In today's context for employees in any hotel the ability to speak good English is a bonus. The employees of this hotel must improve their English.

Breakfast was satisfying, both in quantity as well as in quality. Coffee was just ok, but isn't it always in hotels and other accommondations. The personel was very polite and helpful with suggestions just to the point so to help you visit all the worthy sightseeings. The location of the accommodation was perfect (its strong advantage).

I couldn't believe that there are in out days accommondations in such hot places like Matera that aren't air conditioned. Ok, I don't say that it was mentioned in the description of the rooms, because i can't be sure since i made the reservation, but i wonder who would think otherwise. SO FOR OTHER VISITOR TO SEE, NOT ALL THE ROOMS ARE AIR CONDITIONED.

Location is perfect. just 10 min walk from the old town Matera - Sassi. Private parking is also available. Quite good breakfast.

There is no air conditioning, but I have seen that in other rooms the air-con has been assembled during our stay.
