The staff was amazing, helpful and accommodating. The pool (though quite small) is a great bonus, fantastic for relaxing after a long day and offering spectacular views. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, everything was fresh, local, impeccably served, and they made sure to offer something new every day.

Location can be both a bonus (it is far from any hustle and bustle, no discos or parties nearby) and a bit of a drag, as the place is quite isolated — it takes about 25 minutes to get to town, and about half of it is down a rather unkempt road. If you have a car it is not a problem, but if you want to rely on public transport (there is a bus going to Palermo from Monreale every 40 minutes) you have to take it under consideration.

Breakfast was really good. More authentic than 6 other stays on our trip. Only one exceeded it. The location was good easy walk to Monreale. We did not find it too dark to walk a stretch of about 200m before lights and paved. Lovely views and although we drive to Palermo one day went on the bus the next day from Monreale about 20 min to bus stop. Cost about 10 euros for 2 return. Bus takes about 30 mins. Had room with balcony overlooking breakfast area and pool.

Not far from Palermo, easy access to city center. There is a swimming pool, big self-service dining room, fenced parking lot. Helpful receptionists, gave good hints about Palermo, etc.

the room we stayed was really close to the kitchen/breakfast room, and we heard everything the lady-cook did - moved chairs, put the glasses, plates, kitchen utensils at...,6,00 o clock in the morning...recommend asking for a room farther from the breakfast room. I would also advise sending the instructions how to reach the parking lot (as it is quite unusual to drive backwards alongside the road into the lot).

The place itself and the view down on Palermo are great. The rooms are clean, and well equipped. Parking is available on site. The whole team is super friendly and always there if you need anything. Also got great tips from Pietro on what to do and where to go in Palermo.

Only thing would be breakfast, from which I expected more, but I assume that this is just an italian habit, they just don't eat that much in the morning. And when they do, it's quite sugary. ;)

Our stay here was great. Though the room was basic, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Clean bathroom. Parking was available. We opted for the breakfast which was Sicilian and it was great. Great view of Palermo from the terrace. My two teenagers had so much fun with the Diego the cat! The service provided by Pietro and Sara was exceptional and they really took care of us. The cathedral is about 15mins away by walk and a short drive if you are fortunate enough to find Parking.

The apartment was very spacious and had a large terrace with a wonderful view. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. There was plenty of room around the pool and the sunbeds were comfortable.

The apartment was set between 2 busy roads so there was some road noise, but this was OK when the windows were shut. It was about 20 mins walk into the town, which was fine for us but may not suit everyone.

Great view and the hosts were amazing! Really friendly and helpful family! They sent everything via whatsapp - good recommendations for restaurants and parking!

Great big room, however it would be nice to have some hangers in the woredrobe, as there is no other place to put your clothes. Some of the furnishing was a little old and it would be nice to change. Parking is a struggle, as it’s in the hill, but this is related to the whole area, nothing to do with the property.

amazing view of the city. great responsive hosts. everything is very well organized, when you check in you get full information about all the good restaurants, parking lots, shops. the hotel itself is very cozy, everything is done with love, the breakfasts are amazing with a view of the mountains. rooms are clean and air conditioned

the city is within walking distance, but since it is high mountains, it is convenient to have a car to use

When we arrived at bnb around at 21:00, a young lady had waited for us. She was so nice. She provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, moisturizer,,,for us. Because our car which had our all luggages was at the garage in Palermo. Her brother and support lady were very nice too. Once again thank you for everything.

It's a little bit away from Palermo,but not a big deal. BnB has the very beautiful view of mountain.

I am in awe of this place and the family that runs it! Casa Rossa is family-owned and ran and this family could not be more welcoming and helpful. My husband and I came to spend the night during our honeymoon and the moment we pulled up, our rental stopped working. Everyone was trying to help bring the car back to life, but unfortunately it died and we don't speak Italian. From the moment that car died, the whole family did everything they could to help get the car towed and a new car rented. They made numerous calls to assistance, our car rental, the towing company and places I don't even know - just to ease us of any burden. The persistence of this family to make your stay special is unparalleled (our honeymoon has been 23 days and never in our lives have we received this much hospitality, help and hope). We woke up today looking at the most beautiful of mountain views after having an awesome dinner in town (recommended by the family) and an easy walk from Casa Rossa. Our breakfast out on the terrace was so lovely and stress-free; it really did make all of this worth it. The compound here is gorgeous, all the staff friendly, and everything is designed by the family themselves, as some of them are architects by trade. So special. We cannot recommend Casa Rossa and siblings Federica, Pietro and Emanuela more. Do not miss!
