The real positives about Le Terrazza are the welcome from Roberto and his wife Vittoria and the location of the Hotel. Roberto welcomed us as though we were guests in his home and nothing was too much trouble. The location gave easy access to both the upper part of the town and the lower part making the shops, restaurants, sights and bars easily accessible. The rooms are quirky and lack some of the amenities one might expect in a modern hotel room, such as a fridge, A/C and tea/coffee making facilities. However, there is a certain rustic charm to them, they are very clean and our room had a sitting area as well as a good sized bedroom. We very much enjoyed our stay. Jonathon and Jane Hickman

We accepted the Hotel for what it is, a family run, welcoming and comfortable place situated in an ideal spot to explore the town. On this basis, there wasn't anything we didn't like

The location - I can’t imagine anyone not liking where this place is situated.

The communication wasn’t clear - and one of us speaks Italian. Alberto is a wonderful host, but we didn’t understand that we were to write out our own note to place on our dash in the car showing we are staying at his place, nor did we realize that the voucher he gave us for wine was for wine tasting only. we thought he was giving us a bottle of wine :) (Wine tasting is available for free in many of the cantinas there).

Great location, very close to Piazza Grande, lots of restaurants. Host Roberto very attentive, provided shuttle car service for luggage from car park. (P6 is the one and don't forget to phone Roberto when you arrive - I did!🤣). We had a lovely room with a seperate lounge area, original Tuscan features like oak beams and direct access to the Terrazza. Breakfast comprehensive Italian. No-one asked us to review our stay.👍

The owner of the property, Roberto Gardinelli, is truly one-of-a-kind. He is joyful and gregarious, and was extremely helpful and caring. His hotel is in the center of what is going on in Montepulciano and we only wished that we had booked it for more than one night. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast, which is included, could not have been better. We will definitely return to Montepulciano for Christmas in a couple of years and we will stay with Roberto and his lovely wife, Vittoria.

Difficult to find where to get to park in restricted driving zones. Had to ask policeman for help. Carried suitcases uphill and steps, although Roberto did say he would have picked us up from parking area, although this wasn’t mentioned in instructions where to park that we received.

This is a typical toscany villa with small but comfortable apartments, the village style. It is located in the center of Montepulciano and has a beautiful terazza where you can enjoy wine and pizza. But the best addition to the experience is Roberto and Vittoria. They have this crazy, Italian energy between them and with people around. They take good care of their guests. I mean, we really felt like being at home. Gtazie mille Roberto and Vittoria!

Roberto and his wife were extremely accommodating. The room and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Montepulciano. Free parking outside of building when you book. Roberto meets you at the outside parking lot and shows you were to park in town. He recommended some great wine tasting. Room was clean and adorable. Right in the city center- close to lots of shopping and restaurants right outside the door.

Great location once found. Free parking in a very busy town. Roberto was a character, very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and relatively cool for sleeping on a very warm night. Beautiful white cotton sheets. Room was generous size. More than one terrace to sit on. Close to everything, restaurants, bars, attractions etc

Finding it initially was a tad tricky, signs seemed to stop. Roberto was happy to meet you in a car park and take you to the hotel though.

This stay is definitely one of those you won't forget. The location is simple breath taking and with the hosts Vittoria and Roberto, you feel very welcome. The rooms are roomy and cosy in the heart of Montepulciano. The Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Fresh baked cakes, Croissant and the coffee!!! A board with local salumi, fresh fruits and other yummy things. All this combined with Roberto, who serves all these goodies, this makes you feel like you would belong to the family :) Thank You XOX

Position the quality of the building the owner was the absolute best!

Nothing, if I had to say it would be the shower but hey the hotel is hundreds of years old what else do you expect !
