Interiors of cafe and terrace for breakfast are beautiful. Rooms are modern and clean. Bath appliances are also new. Check-in was fast, easy and online. Great recommendations were provided for restaurants to visit and we had amazing pizza time in Spaccanapoli next to the hotel

- If you have heavy luggage, be aware that you will have to go up by stairs (2-3 floors), no one can assist you - Our room had two floors but still was very small and the window was looking to others building wall (check room category, with other rooms it maybe okay) What can be done better: - Breakfast (would be great to add lactose free options and fresh homemade bakery) - Option to have twin bed in standard room or to get additional cover/duvet

The property was in a perfect location in the heart of the historic centre of Naples. Despite this it was very quiet at night. The room was big enough for our family of 4 with a very stylish decor. Massimiliano our host went out of his way to be helpful, giving advice on where to go, how to get there, where to eat and travel. Booking taxis for us was also no problem. I could not recommend BB Casamatta any more highly.

The facilities were excellent, very clean and comfortable. Great communication from start to finish. Helpful staff gave great tips about travelling and arranged a very efficient taxi service to the airport. Breakfast was so good, great coffee! Cannot fault the room or service.

Lots of stairs but we got used to it and helped work off some of the excellent food we ate in Naples The outside of the building was a little off-putting but soon realised lots of buildings are like this, the accommodation was excellent inside.

We loved our stay at BB Casamatta! We liked everything about our stay. Elena and Massimiliano were the perfect hosts. They made us feel really welcome and were super attentive. They made themselves available for anything we needed and even sent through a great list of recommendations beforehand. The B&B itself is a lovely place to stay, really modern, clean and funkily decorated, and it’s really in the heart of Naples. We would recommend it to all!

Loved the rooms, they were super clean, well stocked and self sufficient. There were number locks and card access for everything making the property secure and easy to access without any staff. The minute you entered the property you were transported to a super classy and aesthetic hotel! Loved the location since it was close to all the best pizzerias! The cafe common area was very beautiful and I felt very well taken care of by both Elena and Luca! Would highly recommend

The property is five flights of stairs above ground. I did take a while to climb up and down. Having highlighted this to the owner I was assured a lift was coming up in the next year so fingers crossed! Also the pictures in the check in instruction document show a red building while the actual building is grey. This can sometimes mislead cautious travelers

Great location, cleanliness and hospitality

Breakfast was lacking protein for me and wasn't the most healthy . I am not used to eating cake for breakfast. I understand Italians don't do breakfast like other countries. Breakfast offered here was disappointing for me, I'm so used to having eggs or something savoury as an option. It's probably my own fault as I made this booking thinking it was a hotel on booking.com. But really this is just a bed and breakfast.

The rooms are clean and lovely (we had 3 as we were travelling as a family of adults). Communication is excellent and very clear, as well as helpful and responsive. We had to leave early so the staff had left us breakfast options which was really appreciated. The hotel is in the heart of Old Naples so ideal for strolling the streets and eating out.

The hotel is actually a very small part of the building photographed in the pictures. We could not see a sign on the main archway entrance and there was some building work at the bottom so we weren’t immediately sure where to go and it was a bit disconcerting. It is 2 floors up so quite hard work with large suitcases. The hotel is not manned so you self check in on line and do not have anyone on site all the time (although we understand someone looks after breakfast and may be around at some points).

The host Massimiliano was great! Very friendly,a perfect coffee and always there to help. We arrived earlier (at10h) and needed a toilet to refresh to continue and we could get into our room to change and refresh which was very helpful! He offered a coffee and juice to welcome us which was great. The place is great to discover the city and 14min walk to the station (Porta nolana) which brings you to scavi di Pompei for only 3€.

We arrived at a very hot and humid day. We had the small room where we had to get some stairs up to get to the bed. Fortunately we are not so tall! Downstairs the air conditioning were good but upstairs in the bed it was still quite hot and difficult to sleep . The shower saw already better times .

-The location is great, close to everything. Right in the heart of the city. - While the streets outside are noisy at night, nothing could be heard from our room. - Some of the kindest and most helpful staff I’ve ever met.

- The outside door couldn’t open at times but we were finally given a physical key instead of using a code. - even if it’s a napolitan tradition, a breakfast with only sweets is not for everyone.

Great location in the heart of the city. Wonderful hosts who made recommendations and reservations. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful outside area. Option to store bags after check out. Quiet rooms. Incredibly clean. Perfect base for our trip!

There were lots of stairs leading to the room, and in our room, that could have proved difficult for some travellers. As much as we groaned, it helped work off the food and drink we consumed!
