In a strategic location, inside the historic Palazzo Doria D'Angri, very close to Spacca Napoli and Via Toledo, very convenient for walking everywhere in the center of Naples. The facility staff contacted us via Whatsapp before our trip. We were greeted very warmly upon our arrival. Necessary procedures were carried out and suggestions were made about places to visit. The view of the castle from the balcony of our room was very beautiful. Naples is a bit noisy, but there wasn't much noise in our room. Our room had everything we needed and was cleaned every day. There were some snacks, coffee, water and fruit at the reception. We were given a voucher to have our breakfasts at Espresso Napoletano Spaccanapoli. Italian breakfast was very nice. Cappuccino and assorted croissants were great. The breakfast place was very close to our accommodation. 3 days were very insufficient for Naples. We would have liked to stay longer. We know where we will stay in Naples on our next trip.

There is nothing negative.

Breakfast needs improvent. It was at a Cafe across the street. Both mornings we choose eggs , toast n juice. The eggs seemed like quite a mission to have to make eventho it was one of the options for the breakfast and also eventho they made them in the microwave.... Microwaved dried eggs n burned toast with no butter. All other options were a pizza slice or a croissant with chocolate That's not really what we like to eat for breakfast. But perhaps its what's normal for an Italian breakfast? But would be really nice with some variety. Maybe just boiled eggs even instead of trying to microwave them.

Everything else about the accommodation was great! Really cool place in the heart of Napoli!

The location was super central, everything within walking distance and if necessary metro 1 at the door. Amalia as a hostess was cordially: lots of tips, transport from airport. Comfortable bed, quiet and clean room, in a beautiful old palace and in a safe, vibrent neighborhood.

The shower didn't flow well. But that’s it, definitely book if you want to stay in Naples ;)

The location was perfect: it was practically at the centre of everything, any location we wanted to visit was reachable within max 30 min walk. We particularly appreciated the cleaning (every part of the room and bathroom was perfectly clean), the comfortable bed and the super helpful service of baggage storage prior to our departure (the day of the checkout we had more than half a day to spend visiting other locations before leaving Naples and the staff offered to leave the baggages in the entrance as much as we wanted). Very nice to see the shampoo and shower gel were in glass bottles instead of plastic :) I'd encourage even more the approach towards an as much sustainable as possible usage of refillable or reusable bags (e.g: washable bags for slippers?) The building itself is a museum: a true masterpiece of architecture. Really good soundproof windows: despite Naples is really chaotic (especially this area on a Sat night), the windows really set a fence between our sleep and the possible noise coming from the street. Very friendly staff and useful infos when arriving: the staff shared tips on places to eat and to visit. Bonus tip: just around the corner, there is a small gastronomy called "Cicol' e ricotta' (via Maddaloni 4A), a very good place where you can buy food to take away or to eat on-site on simple tables outside. Their dishes/specialties were really tasty and typical. They make panini with anything you want (literally: you can choose among the available preparations they have and ask them to fill your panino with anything you prefer), pasta, pizza, fried sneaks, typical pizza filled with escarole or ham/tomato/cheese, main dishes and side dishes as well.

Just out of consideration for the environment, I wouldn't change the duvet for 2 nights-stay. Everything was perfect so the only sidetone is that I wish we could've stayed more time in Naples We didn't really mind about breakfast, but if for some reason you expect to find a fully-equipped bar in the structure, it's not available: they anyway provide you vouchers to cover your breakfast in a super-close bar (literally 2 mins from the door) and there is a small self service area in the hall of the b&b where you can make yourself coffee, tea, grab a fruit and some biscuits. It wasn't really an issue to us, we actually enjoy going to the bar when visiting other cities :)

It's in a great location to see Naples, the building is beautiful as it looks like it's in part of an old palazzo. It's secure too and the room was comfortable and a good size.

Just be prepared with earplugs, it's a noisy city! The breakfast was nice but the staff in the place we had to go to weren't so great, they didn't seem very happy about having to give us breakfast there for some reason and we had to wait a long time compared to other customers. There is a lift but you then still need to go up and down a flight of stairs too so it's not completely accessible.

The location was very convenient and a few minutes walk to the old historic center, Spaccanapoli, where we enjoyed eating and shopping. We took the Hop on and Hop Off Tour Bus after visiting a church nearby, also in Spaccanopoli. Dimora Doria d'Angri was not far from the port area of Molo Beverello, where we took ferry to Capri and Stazione Maritima, where we met our group for the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii tour. The building looks stunning and the Junior Suite with Balcony Room we had was impeccably clean, including the bathroom. We liked it that the room was cleaned daily. Best of all, the staff was helpful and responded quickly to all our inquiries. Dimora Doria d'Angri deserves more than a 10! Definitely, we will stay here when we visit Naples again - and would recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you to the staff for making our stay in Naples a comfortable, safe and wonderful one!

I’ve stayed in this building before and I find it a bit magical. It’s a former “palazzo” and is an oasis of calm in the middle of Naples. I enjoy walking around the public areas of the building. The b&b unit is very modern and comfortable. There’s a common area with tables as well as refreshments like snacks, juices, water, and coffee always available. You should know the reception is not always manned but the owners are easy to reach via message. My room was very modern, with a comfortable bed, great AC, lovely bathroom, minibar, two balconies overlooking the heart of Naples’ Center Storico and Spanish Quarter neighborhoods. I enjoyed having breakfast at the coffee shop across the street from the building. They had a lovely croissant filled with lemon.

The water pressure in the bathroom could be a bit stronger but it was ok. There is a steep staircase from the front door of the unit up to the rooms. It was okay for me but if you gave mobility issues this is not your place. There is an elevator in the building but to reach the unit you have to walk up or down a set of stairs to get to the door of the unit.

The staff were very welcoming, our room was serviced every day of our stay. There is a coffee machine & snacks, along with water to help yourself. The building is glamorous & our room had 2 balconies. The location is excellent, near attractions, close to Dante metro stop & walkable to Garibaldi station. We had a day trip to Pompeii another day trip to Sorrento and it’s easy to get the train. The hotel is very close to some really great places to eat & decent prices. The breakfast when staying in the hotel was across the road & really nice, have included photographs. I liked staying here and would return

I stayed at this beautiful place on a Friday night. The previous evening the Naples football team had won the Italian Cup for the first time since 1989. So, there were so many people in the streets celebrating, honking their car horns, etc. the night I was there trying to sleep. It was worse at 12:45 a.m. than at 10 pm. The windows in the room and doors to the balconies were so good that they blocked out over 95% of the craziness and noise below. It was impressive. Room was large, tastefully done and far and away the most comfortable mattress I slept on during 3 weeks in Italy. Staff was incredibly professional and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't any staff on site overnight.
