The view, ah the view. Vesuvius in the distance, this morning I watched a seagull soar in front of Vesuvius, above the rooftops, and was sad I would be leaving. Our host has a kind of intelligence to sense what the guest needs, and how to communicate, she is really wonderful, and highly professional.

We should be honest that there are quite a few stairs to get the to the top floor. For me, the view, and comfort, and wonderful host, the nice neighborhood, made it all worth it. And you know, probably not bad for my figure either.

Anna and her daughter were great! Very available, attentive and kind hosts. The location has an incredible rooftop for breakfast. In addition, there is a large park and a museum that is a 2-minute walk away that overlooks the entire city. I would point out that the room was great, very large, furnished, with a great shower! To get there, it’s rather well served. With my friend we had an excellent stay thanks to our hosts with whom we shared pleasant mornings around discussion about Naples.

This is a gem of a B&B. The hostess was above and beyond helpful, and so lovely. These beautiful rooms with a fabulous rooftop terrace was the perfect place for us. The chiming of the church bells, the local shops, an easy walk to San Gennome Catacombs and local bus stop /Metro only minutes away. Capodemonte is a fabulous place to stay if you want respite from the crazy downtown Naples. Easy public transport €1.80 or a taxi €15.

The stairs were not mentioned and 57 stairs for two 70 year olds was not great

Anna was an absolutely excellent host. The room was extremely clean and well prepared for our arrival. The breakfast was delicious. This apartment is a really great catch, even despite being a bit further from the city center, absolutely worth it! ❤️

The apartment was very clean with an amazing terrace, full of plants, with a good view of Vesuvius. The host was warm and welcoming, she served us a good breakfast each morning. Some of the food was also homemade. The location was well conected to the city center with public transport.

Our host Anna was very friendly and kind-hearted. The food was always delicious and handmade by her. She gave great tips and we had very nice conversations about Naples. Anna responds very quickly.

Anna was a great host! Had a very pleasant vacation at iL Portoncino Room was clean and comfy, breakfast was great.

Some walking from the city center, when you come to think of it, it's an advantage (got to burn all thoae carbs from the pizza)

What a find! Our apartment was fully equipped and very stylishly designed with an absolutely stunning terrace with views of Vesuvius where we watched the sun come up and ate delicious croissants for breakfast. Owner Anna is wonderful - she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect offering advice on where to see and eat. We were flying in the morning and the area is handy for the airport. The secure parking in the garage across the street was an added bonus and well worth the 12 euros. Capodimonte park and museum is a 5 minute walk away and is a haven of beauty and peace in a bustling city. We will look to stay here whenever we return to Naples. Thanks again Anna!

Nothing to dislike. The stairs are steep so we took a few things from our large suitcase and left the rest in the car. And the view from the terrace makes the climb very worthwhile!

Spacious room with a nice terrace where you can have breakfast. Rooftop apartment. Not so noisy to sleep as most of Napoli is super busy with traffic. Simple but nice breakfast with a home-baked 🥧. Loved the owner, welcoming and helpful.
