February 2023

We recently returned from a terrific visit to Napoli and stayed 7 nights at the lovely Toledo Point. Anna the owner of Toledo Point is one of the kindest, most caring and conscientious hosts we have ever encountered in our travels around the world. Her small B & B is ideally located along the Via Toledo, one of the most popular shopping streets in Napoli. Anna's B & B is accessed by entering an office/apartment building by a small elevator in the lobby. Security is NOT an issue in the city despite the unfair and untrue rumors about Napoli - it is a vibrant, wonderful city full of surprises! Still, Anna provides her guests with keys to the building and the front door of Toledo Point there are also swipe cards for the individual guest rooms). You are now within walking distance to all Naples has to offer. Anna and her beautiful family live onsite, too - no worries! The 3rd floor entrance to Toledo Point reveals a blissfully quiet 5-star inn! The spotlessly clean guest rooms have a great bed, large screen TV, small refrigerator, room safe, and a very well-appointed private bath (modern full-size shower [with large towels!], toilet, bidet, and sink. Anna's breakfasts are legendary and she puts out a beautiful spread with all manner of pastries, meats, cheeses (one day Anna surprised us with fresh buffalo mozzarella), hard boiled eggs, juices, all sorts of goodies and made to order cappucinos, espressos and tea. The little touches matter here to Anna (example: she routinely provides filtered drinking water in glass bottles for her guests). Anna makes her guests at home and will go out of her way to make your stay memorable. Anna can also help to arrange very reasonably priced and perfect private transfers to and from the Naples Airport. Ask Anna anything about places to visit, great restaurants (and pizzerias)! We miss Anna terribly. We came as guests and left as family. Toledo Point is a VERY special inn and we recommend it highly! We love you, Anna!

That we had to leave Anna and Toledo Point ... we miss you already!

We had a great short stay at Toledo Point. The location is perfect - a short walk from the Toledo metro stop and right in the heart of vai Toledo which is one of Naple's main shopping streets. There was a great buzz on via Toledo but thankfully the rooms are on the 3rd floor of a large building with good windows and shutters so we had no outside noise issues at all. Unit feels very secure too. Reception texted me on the morning of our booking to say that our room would be ready for check-in early whch was a great bonus and a anice courtesy. We were also allowed delay check-out on our departure until 12 at no extra cost (usual check out is 10am) and I really found the staff helpful at all times. We only used the Metro leaving and arriving as it's a short walk to the old town, Duoma and the archaelogical museum so we loved the central location. Breakfast exceeded our expectations too for the price - we had sparser breakfasts at far more expensive places on the Amalfi coast!

Nothing. Our stay was excellent and the staff so helpful. Will definitely stay again when we are back in Naples

We were at Toledo Point with our little girl and my wife’s parents. Toledo Point is a very good place for families! We enjoyed our stay very much. Anna was very nice and helped us even before we arrived in many questions about Naples. Toledo point is a very comfortable and extremely clean. Everything in the room is new and designed well. The breakfast was very testy and Anna brought every day something new and prepared for us many things. The location is fantastic and close to all main places. The location is very quiet although it is located in the center. If we will visit Naples again, we will defiantly visit the Toledo Point.

Nothing!

Anna was a fantastic host, tracking our flight to ensure she was present to check us in, providing information about the city and helping us with some small asks. The room itself was clean with nice finishings, racks for clothes and powered blackout blinds. The location was great, steps away from the Toledo subway station which was our hub to get around the city. We would definitely love to stay at Toledo Point if we return to visit Napoli in the future.

Was a minor thing but the AC turns off when you leave the room, and will resume when you return. We happened to visit in July when Napoli when it was very hot 34C+ before humidity and it took a bit for the room to cool down after returning in the evening. The AC unit looked new and worked great once it initially refreshed the rooms air. Really only a small nitpick, everything else really was great.

Toledo Point was a very pleasant surprise. A small B&B in a nondescript building in the Spanish Quarters area of Naples, we found a spotless clean facility with two very modern bedrooms, complete with USB charging docks on the wall and a multicoloured light in the bathroom. Despite being smack in the middle of the hustle-and-bustle area of restaurants, cafés and nightly activities, the rooms were very quiet - and very dark, too, thanks to the motorised blinds. Location, all in all, couldn't be better - a stone's throw from an underground station and a bus stop, and within walking distance from tourist sites and places to eat or do shopping. The beds had very good mattresses and pillows, and the shower had good water pressure (you have to wait a couple moments for the hot water to come, though, probably because the boiler is distant from the outlet, but no complaints there). Compared to other B&Bs we've been to, breakfast in this one was varied and generous, about two-thirds of what you can expect from 4-star hotel. The business is family-run, and Mrs Panzetta was very helpful and kind, from setting up the breakfast table every day to printing online tickets we'd bought. We felt truly welcomed and would recommend Toledo Point to anyone who wants a great cost-benefit in the middle of Naples.

Nothing to find fault with, really. For a B&B, the comfort we enjoyed compared favourably with that of some lower-tier four-star hotels we stayed at during our trips to Italy.

Anna - the Host of Toledo Point (TP) is a good spirit of this place. She is very pleasant and helpfull. The room I've took for two nights, was very clean, quiet and well equipped. The location is very good for visiting Naples, especially Old Town. It's well communicated - 150m from metro station. There is an elevator in the building so it is easy to get to the apartments even with heavy luggage.

There is nothing wrong in that place.

good location, really great host who was so welcoming even if we did have to use google translate a few times! 😆 Room was great and bed comfy. breakfast was nice as well.

only issue I had which can not be helped is the fact it was on floor number 3 so was a long walk up the steps. Having to open the doors with keys took a couple of times to get use to but once got use to it was all good! I wouldn’t have these as bad things.

Anna, who I believe is the owner could not have been better. We arrived late to Naples because of plane delays and she waited for us. She answered all of our questions via WhatsApp before and during our stay. It was like we had a friend in Naples. We were in Italy to celebrate my wife's birthday later in the week and we even received a birthday wish after our stay. Now we do have a friend in Naples. 😀

Anna was very welcoming and takes great pride in looking after her guests. This is a small hotel with only a few rooms, so it is nice and quiet and has a B&B vibe. The rooms are spacious, newly furnished and modern, they have air conditioning units (a must in Naples in the summer), small fridge, safe and a pretty decent shower, which worked well. Location of Toledo Point was perfect for us. Close to a wide range of restaurants and bars, near the city centre, metro and Ferry Port. We spent five nights in Naples and used it as a base to visit Sorrento, Capri and Pompei, so being close to the Ferry Port was essential. Breakfast was fairly simple but tasty. Anna provides some local sweet items, yoghurts, coffee and juice.

Breakfast could do with a little more variety as it was the same thing every day. Some more cereals, bread options and savoury items, like scrambled eggs, would have been appreciated. Nothing else, all good!

The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast was served in a nice eating area with different options: juice, cereal, bread and yoghurt. The location is perfect for exploring the city: It's right next to Via Toledo, a big shopping street, and it's not a long walk to/from the old town either. We only wish we had more time to explore! Anna, the host, was very helpful and kind. We had some fun talks using google translate together. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and would gladly stay at this place again.

The only thing I missed was a window view. Considering we were in Napoli to explore and be outside most of the day, it didn't matter.
