This room is actually a little detached cabin on the roof of a five-story building right in the center of the historic district in an alleyway off Via Toledo between Toledo and Dante metro stations. It has access to an open roof terrace and a 24-hour astonishing view of the city of Naples. It provided more comfort than it promised to at first glance. AC worked fine, there was hot water in abundance, it was clean, bed was fine, room was serviced every day despite my short sojourn. Most importantly, the host Anna was a most gracious, helpful and charming lady who treated me to coffee and croissant every morning, even though my reservation did not come with breakfast. She was kind enough to supply me with local knowledge with regards to best places to eat and visit. Her cheerfulness made my stay quite pleasant.

It was quite a challenge to find the place in the maze of old Naples. You need to look hard at every door facing that short alleyway to spot the name of the establishment. Albeit immaculately clean, the room can be characterized as basic, with a simple closet with a couple of hangers, a small table. The floor is bit uneven. To reach the room, one needs to climb a narrow staircase, so it could be problematic for older people.

Loved the location, the owner was extremely helpful and always willing to take time to help and answer questions. Always had a smile on her face, beautiful and fresh ltaliano bakery 🥯 every morning and any type of coffee you asked for, she made with a big smile. The atmosphere was amazing and really cozy. Loved the room l had, huge bathroom and a lot of towels, every size was there. For the price I paid, l received first class service, it’s a B&B, but l have paid a lot for a First Class Hotel, and left with disappointment, here l paid less and left saying, l will be back in November. Highly recommended for the price you pay.😊

Trying to think if there’s anything l didn’t like. Excellent location, cozy bedroom with a huge bathroom. Excellent breakfast, very helpful owner, always a natural smile, it’s like a home away from home, and it’s also very safe there, will be staying there every time l will be traveling to Napoli. Highly recommended for the price you pay. Would rather stay there then a luxury hotel, if you want a cozy, home away from home atmosphere.

Anna is a super host, very nice and friend and always avaialble if you need support; we arrived one hour later for the check-in and she was available just with a phone call. Breakfast is very nice and all the products are all very fresh from the bakery. The room is very big with lots of windows and the light is amazing. There is a huge terrace outside the room from which you can see the Vesuvio, Napoli gulf and Sant'Elmo castle at the top of the hill. The view is astonishing at the sun set! Location 10/10 becuase it is just at the start of the main Via Toledo, in the middle area between "Quartieri Spagnoli", the old city centre aand also close to Piazza del Plebiscito and the sea.

Nothing to complain about the room and the host! To make it a 10 I would just add a small furniture (i.e. armchair) ans a small light outside on the stairs

The room was simple, but nice and clean. It is located in the heart of the city. walking distance to absolutely everything. communication with host was great. we arrived at night and clear and easy instructions were given to us. she recommended a really good place to eat. Breakfast was served to us. croissant, cappuccino, orange juice, ham, bread was offered. we could leave our luggage after the check out time and she even left a .20 c coin so we can use the lift to bring our bags down. That was such a kind gesture of her. the terrace has a nice view of the Vesuvius.

The lady working here was the most friendly person ever. She was very warm and helpful and super nice to be around. The property is very cozy and it has a super central location, close to pretty much every attraction. There is also a rooftop that has a great view of the whole city (depicted in the pics) and it is very cute to hang out in the evenings as well. The breakfast was served by the hostess and we got to try local bakery products. Would totally recommend and I would love to come here again ❤️

I can't express how much satisfied and happy I was with staying at C era una volta. We had some complications at the airport which made us miss our morning flight therefore we had to book another one fortunately on the same day in the afternoon. I texted the host our issues and they quickly answered saying it's fine and they will wait for our check-in in the afternoon. Even in the morning when we thought we would have arrived early before the check in times on the Booking site I asked in a message if they could accommodate us 2-3 hours earlier and the response was again fast saying no problem. We found the apartment and our hostess, a very friendly and nice lady, welcomed us in front of the door. Another thing I want to point out we had paid also for the breakfast but had to leave the room earlier in the morning so we couldn't eat it in the kitchen. We messaged our hostess and she said she would leave the breakfast in our room so we could have it later. The communication and service were really 10/10 that it was beyond my expectations. With all the stress from missing a flight I was relieved that I didn't have to worry about accommodation related problems thanks to that. And if you encouter any problem during your stay the hostess is in the next flat ready to help you. Room and bathroom were clean, had enough space and was equipped with an air-conditioner. The place is located near Via Toledo in the centre of Napoli. Excellent location everything is within 5-15 minutes by walking and the metro station Toledo is just 7 mins away. I hope my review helps you to decide where you want to stay in Napoli. Once again thank you C era una volta for an amazing stay.

Everything was superawesome 🥰 the Lady Host is superfriendly and told us all about the places to go, the places to eat .. the Cleaning Lady cleans every day .. the location is premium, the breakfast is awesome .. we simply loved everything and are definitely coming back .. there are also 2 terraces with great view where You can enjoy apperitivo or whatever You like ..

Location is unbeatable if you want to be in the middle of the Napoli action. Its surprisingly quiet too, up on the 5th floor. Nice big room very clean with a/c. Friendly staff. Amazing views from the roof.

Could have a breakfast (although the nice girl did make coffee for me). Internet wasxa bit patchy and slow.

The location was great. Close to old Spanish quarters, monuments, underground city, all kinds of yummy food etc. The rooftop was amazing! Nothing fancy but a 360 view, sunset, sunrise was great up there.

Maybe a fridge would be nice.

The Guesthouse is located near Via Toledo, very near to the metro station and main city attraction. We got the rooftop room which is very comfortable. Girl from the reception was very kind and helpful, she made a sweet breakfast and coffees for us, as well as launch pack for our day trip. :) I would stay here again
