Hotel Porta Reale

Stayed at the apartment which is right behind the hotel, great spacious room, kitchen, and a great balcony :) You can even park your car right next to the entrance

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Porta Reale in Noto, and I want to start by saying that it was one of our better experiences with a hotel in Sicily and not just! The hotel is located on the main pedestrian street, steps away from Porta Reale, hence the name. We booked an entire apartment which apparently was apart from the main building and somewhat hard to get to for people with accessibilty issues, like myself. We turned to the front desk which immediately agreed to change our room. The breakfast was excellent and rich. The hospitality in its entirety was more than perfect. Noto is beutiful and I would definitely recommend to visit Noto and stay at Hotel Porta Reale. Special thanks to Natalia, Neomi and Dario which went really out of their way to assist in every possible manner throughout our stay.

Even though it did not affect our overall experience with the hotel. I would advice the hotel to provide more accurate data about the separate apartments, things like accessibilty and the fact that they are not actually part of the hotel.

The hotel delights with high-quality furnishings. The rooms were furnished with attention to detail. When we arrived we were very tense from the driving. A member of the hotel staff took all the tension away from us and put a smile on our faces. He was very accommodating and also took care of parking the car. The lady at the front desk (Natalia) was very nice and extremely helpful. You felt immediately comfortable and welcome. The breakfast delighted with freshly prepared food and a great and healthy selection. In any case, we will always remember the extremely warm welcome by the Argentine bartender! He was very accommodating and made the evenings on the rooftop bar something special with his warm personality!

Very nice room! Great location and staff, with a lovely buffet breakfast setup. And we unfortunately missed our chance to go the rooftop bar but I’m sure it is great! Also we were so glad for the excellent valet parking!

At first arrival, this property was a bit strange to find by car, and to find our room, though it was easy after that. And the staff did a nice job with recommendations of things to do, but the hotel does not have a handout available, so just be sure to do your research.

Loved this hotel! The hotel staff is amazing, so welcoming and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. Location is perfect: walking distance to all the beautiful churches & buildings, and at the same time is is very quiet. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and perfectly cool; I didn't expect how comfortable the bed & linen were, hadn't slept so well in a hotel for a long time. At breakfast, there was a nice variety of foods, everything tasted freshly prepared and delicious. Also I'm on a gluten-free diet, and was pleasantly surprised to see how much variety of gluten-free products they had, and they tasted much nicer than what we have in the UK. Lastly we had a car and used their garage, which is perfectly safe (it's a closed park space, not on the street).

Hard to say, everything was amazing.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Porta Reale and it didn’t disappoint. The location is fantastic and there is parking available (at a small additional fee). A welcome drink on the lovely terrace is provided and we recommend having it at sunset. The staff are very friendly and welcoming also.

Nothing to dislike. Our room was expensive, but it was very large with high quality finishings and toiletries provided.

The location was great. Short walk to the main street and attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and great soundproofed room for a restful.nights sleep.

Air con didn't go below 18c and could've done with being more powerful. Cooking facilities lacked a chopping board, Microwave and toaster and knives.

First encounter at Reception was professional & Dario was helpful & informative. Everything in this Hotel exceeded my expectation for a 3 # Hotel. The room well equipped, spacious and the amenities were user friendly. The breakfast was excellent, location right there in the centre without being noisy. The terrace bar had a wonderful view & charismatic bartender Sergio. Its up there with service on par with Hotel Igea in Palermo 5#

The star rating, it should be higher. There was absolutely nothing to fault.

It is right in the heart of Noto - unbeatable location. The staff were very friendly like a big family nothing to much trouble. We had a small balcony . The room was very comfortable. The welcome drink on rooftop was great start to the visit.

Could have had a better view from the balcony it was in a side street over looking another building 😟.

The hotel is located right in the center of the action. The hotel can be reached by car, although it is located in a pedestrian zone. The room was very comfortable, clean and modernly furnished. Very comfortable beds.

Breakfast in a standard of a small hotel, not a very large selection of food, not very spacious dinning room. Poor communication regarding secure parking.
