We arrived late in Olbia by plane and had booked 2 nights, before we went to explore the island. 10 min by car from the airport, and room was nice. Great, great swimmingpool and friendly staff in the pool bar (as well as reception). 5-10 min walk to main shopping street with plenty of shops and cafes/restaurants. Free parking at the hotel.

Breakfast could have been better, if there had been a wider selection of fresh fruit, f.ex melons or grapes, and the cappucchino in the self service machine was not good.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mercure Olbia from June 5th to June 8th, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is fantastic, offering a comfortable stay with excellent amenities. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a slightly upgraded room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen at Mercure Olbia was also very nice. My stay included breakfast every morning, which had a great variety of light food, fruits, sandwiches, and drinks. It was a perfect start to each day. A special mention goes to Daniel, the receptionist. He was incredibly helpful, especially during late nights and early mornings when most places were closed. Daniel went out of his way to organize some light snacks for me and provided invaluable advice on exploring Olbia and what to expect during the summer season in Sardinia. His friendliness and dedication truly made a difference and enhanced my overall experience at the hotel. Thank you, Mercure Olbia, and a heartfelt thank you to Daniel for the outstanding service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Olbia.

I honestly don't have any complaints for the hotel. My needs were satisfied.

We booked a family suite. It had two very big rooms with lots of space. The suite was very clean and modern. The bathroom was clean and adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful

It would have been better to have a bit more hot foods in the breakfast. Access to sauna and indoor pool was not free and the charges are a bit expensive

Overall good experience at hotel. The location is close to Olbia centre with convenient public transportation. Breakfast was ok, not many surprises but you can find whatever you need. The gym is really big and advanced. It's even better than some hotels with a bigger scale. The room is clean and spacious. There are many restaurants nearby.

The facilities in hotel are a bit old but the maintenance is ok.

The rooms were super clean and bed very comfortable. The staff adorable and the location very good for moving around quickly.

It’s pity that there are no signs about the clean towels ,meaning that if we don’t need a clean towels we just have to keep them hang,towel on the floor it means need to be change. It could safe so much water and energy for the planet.

Breakfast was good; reception staff super helpful! I needed the once a day private bus to the ferry terminal In Santa Therese Gallura and the receptionist called to make sure which was the right bus stop.

It was difficult to find the hotel coming from the train station; I should have gotten off one stop sooner but it all worked out in the end. Also, reception is up maybe 8 steps; be prepared to deal with your luggage. You can leave them at the bottom of the stairs while you check in and out. Elevator to all the rooms.

Good location 15mins from the centre. Hotel has a nice pool. Train station is next to the hotel so ideal if you are travelling around Sardinia also buses are nearby for easy access to beach

Restaurant and main reception area is not air conditioned so can be a bit unbearable when temperatures creep up. Also no ramp down to reception which isn’t ideal with luggage

As easy as parking was in the private garage it would've been good to know one needs to check in first before one can get in as reversing up the 45 degree slope isn't good on the clutch! AKA more information needed on parking.

The hotel was situated next to a railway line and a semi industrial estate. So it can be noisy from time to time. Despite this the Hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Olbia town ( walking distance) and airport ( by car - 10 mins) The staff were really, helpful and friendly. They were incredibly reactive when I wanted to change rooms. In room 139 the external wall of bathroom had strong signs of humidity. Also this room was situated just above the air conditioning extraction fans which I understand could be troublesome for some. Fans on hot days could be spinning loudly till 2 - 3 in the morning. Needless to say, they more or less changed my room straight away when they had identified a suitable one. The fitness center was well equipped (TechnoGym machines) all muscle groups and cardio seemed to be covered. The Sauna was sadly closed. The reason given was Covid, which is ironic since saunas (IMO) help to strengthen the body’s immune system making the auto-immune system more resistant to Covid and other pathogens Breakfast was buffet style, but due to Covid this was behind a counter and served by hotel staff (who were again, helpful and friendly.) I do like this format as it helps reduce wastage. There is a good range and variety of hot and cold items. However there have been some comments that the choice is always the same. I see this as a happy constant, allowing you to vary and choose yourself within the limits provided by the hotel 🙂 The quality of the food was good.

At the time of writing avoid room 139 If you are sensitive to noise and humidity The underground parking is a maze of pillars waiting to catch you out. Also be careful how you position your car when you press the exit button of the garage 🤭
