I arrived early, and needed to find a laundromat. The front desk was kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would say that they set the bar for a well-run, professional establishment. They took my bags, completed cleaning of the room, and moved my luggage to my room, where it was waiting for me upon my return. The location is on a small side street, which originally looked dubious. But, it was not. In fact, it was located only 200 meters from a very vibrant part of Palermo. The side street location simply made it more secluded, and quieter. A wonderful property and a wonderful staff. I would stay here again and again.

My only complaint would be that since this is a Best Western property, they make this a little more obvious on the outside of the building. But, it is entirely possible that Italian customs and local policies do not allow this. Nevertheless, the hotel name was clearly marked, simply not the brand.

Breakfast was excellent loved the bacon and cappuccino. The location right near the city centre where you can start any of the tours. Also near the main street of restaurants & Bars. The rooms were clean with all facilities. The hotel offered free pick up at the airport.

Great location , comfortable room, great shower, excellent breakfast, wonderful workers at breakfast, quick answers to questions and arranged for driver to pick me up at the airport who was there waiting for me. Room was cleaned every day.

I did not receive a warm welcome and no offer to have my luggage brought to my room ( I am an 82 year old woman) so I brought it up myself. Only one bath towel in the room. Soap dispenser at the sink was extremely difficult to use.

Good location

We showed up at breakfast at 9:30. We had to go look for the staff to get a coffee as by 9:45 as there was still no one there to bring us one. Then they cleared everything away at 9:55 although breakfast is supposed to go till 10am. Amenities are fairly basic for a four star hotel.

The property is in an excellent location. It was in walking distance of central Palermo. The hotel is simple, but the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, particularly Allesandra and Frederica who went above and beyond making our stay enjoyable. They were brilliant at giving us advice on where to go and helped organise lots for us.

The beds were quite hard.

Since it is BW, I noticed at breakfast, I saw many American poeple was staying at this hotel. And it is great location for the quality and money. And their services was nice too, especially at the breakfast.

The only thing is the mattress is little old, but still able to sleep without any problem.

Room is quite old but clean and spacious. Bathroom is amazing. It’s new, sparklingly clean and has everything I needed. Breakfast is nice but it’s cold cuts and pastries. No fried eggs or hot sausages.

Location was in walking distance of historical center. Clean rooms with English TV. Breakfast space was limited and food was sparse. Some parking spaces out front for 15 euros per night.

Excellent and friendly staff at the desk - all shifts. We stayed twice in a 2 wk period due to air traffic controller strike. The hotel location provides central access & is very close to many major historical sites, while being in a quiet & attractive side street, without high traffic, noise, and crowds. Extensive excellent breakfast and modern room. Our 3rd trip to Palermo, and the Ai Cavalieri is where we will return.

Cleaning lady: was noisy in the mornings - could hear through door, and a bit thrifty with refilling the toilet paper Parking: guy at parking lot wasn't always there - if your car was parked in by other cars it takes a bit of time until someone else from the hotel comes to help
