Great hotel in a great location for a two-night stay. Functional, quiet and clean room with comfortable beds on the 6th floor. We liked the ease of parking in the midst of the chaos of Palermo! Drive up outside and unpack and hotel valet parking service for Euro 20 a day very reasonable, especially after the shock of driving into Palermo on a Friday afternoon. Thank goodness this hotel is location a few minutes 'outside' the centre. Never had time for breakfast during our stay so unable to comment on that. Great location overlooking the Politeama Piazza, close enough to the historic centre for a short walk to eateries and bars. Roof top bar is a wonderful touch - we enjoyed some very well priced but delicious Sicilian wine with some great views over the city. We didn't eat here, but the menu looked a good selection. Super location for us as well as close to the Ferry Port a short 5 min drive for our onward journey to Sardinia. Hotel reception staff a particular pleasure to chat to. Thanks for a lovely stay in your wonderful city!

We had a terrace room which was lovely and room was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. staff were lovely and helpful, especially the lady on breakfast service. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on one evening but plenty of restaurants locally.

generally the hotel was really nice and we would definitely return if in Palmero. Our only criticism (very minor) was the lack of atmosphere in the restaurant in the evening and very small choice on the menu. A few more choices and some background music would make a big difference. Also the breakfast had great choice but again the room lacked any atmosphere or view. As I have said, these are really minor issues though that did not detract from a lovely stay.

Amazing location and super friendly staff. Room was very spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked perfect during our stay. They stored our luggages without any extra charge. Bus from the airport stops right in front of the hotel, making it a cheap and super convenient commute. A/C in the room was amazing!

Shower was a bit too small. Maybe slightly overpriced for what you get. But still affordable considering I send during peak season in July.

The location is just fantastic and perfect if you want to stay in Palermo with everything around and only a few minutes walk away.

We specifically asked for a quiet room when booking the room and sent another email a few days later but we’re given a room on the street and it was a nightmare: we couldn’t sleep all night due to the noise of cars, motorcycles, people, etc. The next day we asked to be changed and we were given a room away from the street and it was very quiet so it was great.

The location is as good as it gets near the center of the old city of Palermo. The building is modern, room was clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful: we took a transfer from the eastern part of Sicily and the driver was not familiar with the city of Palermo. Staff helped him live over the phone to drop us off at the door.

Room decor was spartan. Our room had a window out on the square of Garibaldi Politeama theater and it got rather noisy at night. Small price to pay for the great location.

Hotel Politeama was located near the historic centre of Palermo. There were plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars near by. The room was spacious, with great facilities such as two armchairs. It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. There was free WiFi. An evening meal, served as room service, was excellent. It arrived promptly and was delicious. The breakfast was very good with pleasant helpful staff. We arrived at 1am in the morning. The staff were efficient, competent and friendly. It was a great welcome in the middle of the night.

We struggle to find anything we didn't like about this hotel. It was great. We would stay there again.

Very nice hotel in a central location. Very spacious room with wonderfully comfortable king size bed (we had a superior room). Very clean. Interior design on the ‘minimal’ level but functional. Very good breakfast with a wide selection of sweet items (including home made cakes), savory options also available. Rooftop terrace with amazing views over the city (drinks and food there are expensive though). Overall good value for money (surely not on the cheap end, but in our opinion worth it!)

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Very clean and quiet. The staff are very professional but also very friendly and the service they provided was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

We only had one glass in the room albeit we were a couple. Also, we are a little old-fashioned maybe, but we didn’t like the paper cups in the room, more used to ‘proper’ cups which are washable.

Very good breakfast. The location was perfect. The bus from Palermo airport stops and picks up from straight outside the hotel. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast room was in the basement and so there was no natural light, however it was attractively decorated and well-lit. The room could get very noisy and busy as the hotel is used by tour companies but we always got a table without waiting, dirty dishes were cleared immediately and the breakfast choices were always plentiful.

Amazing central location. It exceeded our expectations. We had a corner balcony room and it was brilliant. Although the rooftop bar is not connected to the property, we went up for drinks for the room and they carried it down for us. The noise from the rooftop bar didn’t disturb us at all; we were on floor 8. Breakfast great and we were leaving early on our last day and they did us a grab bag.

The air con perhaps needs updating.
