We liked the location, the space, the free coffee, water :) and the service. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen well equipped.

We had a bit of a situation with the door fom the common space that would open by itself, it was still ok because it was not our bedrooms. Another thing was that the cafe where we had our breakfast only had sweet pastry available (along side fresh juice and coffee), even though on the menu they also mentioned cold cutts and pizza.

The room was spotless and big. The bed was comfortable but in the morning was quite bright (not a big deal though). It is just a 15 min walk from the station and the centre. The check-in is online and there is no staff at the hotel, but I think there is someone at the bistro/restaurant (with the same name as the hotel) beside the structure. Communication with the staff happens via WhatsApp.

The breakfast is at the nearby cafe. You can choose between 3 menus: Italian breakfast with croissant, tea/coffee/etc and juice (we didn't receive it though), savoury and a summer one with smoothies and something else (sorry don't remember). We both had the Italian option, but I admit it would be good to have more than a single croissant. Despite that, the stay was more than ok.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was good to have a common room with supplies of coffee and tea ( although some longlife milk sachets would be useful too ). The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, tourist attractions, restaurants and main train and bus stations so very convenient.

We were happy with the hotel in general although the bedroom was rather small and the breakfast choices more limited than previous hotels we had stayed in

Palazzo Storico di Nicola, Pescara, Abruzzo. Oct. 13th &14th, 2022 We were in touch with Marco, the manager of the B&B by phone, and were instructed to go to a lock box at the entrance of the building, get the keys and let ourselves in, take elevator to 4th floor, and let ourselves into room 4. Room-small, bed-small, good clean bathroom interior decor easy on the eyes. We then proceeded to photograph our passport info. and message that to Marco for registration. We found a nice common room with tables & chairs, good lighting, scant snacks-packaged toast, jam-but plenty of coffee or tea. ‘Not quite sure if this was a self catering establishment or not, we phoned Marco the next morning about breakfast. The ground floor cafe was the breakfast room. Ah! with a clever menu of combinations of breakfast items, to satisfy most guests, included in the room rate. On our second morning, surprise! We finally met Marco and asked about the building’s history. We had seen a photo of the building w/out the cafe and surrounding wall. The building’s owner has a construction business and was responsible for the additions, which are brilliant! The cafe is set in a sunken patio with the surrounding wall that adds privacy. A mature tree was replanted in the cafe’s garden corner and it survived to add a leafy, garden experience while enjoying breakfast or an evening cocktail…It was an enjoyable stay, thank you Marco!

We had a good sized bedroom with enough storage space, an ensuite shower room, and a shared kitchen/dining/lounge area that was spacious and quiet. The aircon was valuable as it was very hot, and access to a washing machine a real bonus. Marco was helpful and friendly. We made our own coffee and tea in the morning as we were leaving for a conference early each day. Fruit was provided and we bought some of our own. The bar downstairs provided a coffee and pastry - the sour cherry tart was good! We found a lovely restaurant locally where we ate twice. A good safe place to stay.

Nothing.

The whole place was so well appointed and clean and the staff were so helpful and responsive. They provided quite a lot of useful local tips which enabled us to have on of the most incredible seafood meals at a place the locals use. Can highly recommend this place.

To be fair, nothing. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the building works that were happening right in front of the place that made it hard to find initially

The room (Room 6) is a very generous size and the bed is extremely comfortable. A bonus is that on each floor, there is a shared fully-equipped kitchen / dining area and a lounge; this was only shared between Rooms 6 and 7 on our floor and we had it to ourselves most of the time. It is an excellent feature, as it means that you can get supplies and eat in rather than dine out for every meal. It is in an excellent, central location and the bistro Civico 96 next door provides an excellent breakfast and other meals.

Minor detail: it would be good to have table / chairs on the small terrace. Also, if you arrive after hours, wrestling with the 3 keys to get in can be a challenge! We also found we had to park our hire car some distance away, as street parking is limited, but that was fine for us.

My room no 4: small but comfortable, double bed quiet bedroom (as requested) with a spacious separate 'dressing' room which included a fridge and led to a very nice bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean The communal area with seating, coffee machine, kettle and ample provision of coffee capsules, various teabags, fruit and snacks Very good wi-fi Good security MARCO - the efficient, helpful and charming host who offered a warm welcome. Marco speaks excellent English, deals with any queries quickly via WhatsApp and in my opinion is a real asset to this B&B.

The only negative comment I have - no fresh orange juice was available as a part of the breakfast included in the.price of the room I'd like to offer a suggestion: the decor of the room was spartan so perhaps another picture.on the wall in the area leading to the bathroom? Also an English TV channel would be nice.
