Very cute hotel with spacious rooms, located in a nice garden. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Perfect basecamp to explore the whole of campania with the station nearby. Although limited, they do provide vegan, lactose free and glutenfree breakfast options if you request it.

The hotel is perfect for having a basecamp to explore the whole region with public transport. This is because it is so close to the station. The only problem is that the circumvesuviana (local train service) stops operating at about 21:30. That means that you have to go back to hotel from sorrento to piano di sorrento pretty early on in the evening. Ofcourse you could take a taxi and there are nightbusses available.

Truly a great experience that exceeded expectations. Breakfast served every morning was great. The place had a welcoming vibe. You could feel the history and beauty of the building. It was a short walk to the train station and served as a great connection to many areas like Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. The town was great because it had all the charm and wasn't invaded by tourists. Staff was friendly and amazing! They were there when needed but also gave you your space so it felt like your own home. Highly recommend this place.

Be aware that there are no elevators and you will have to walk up stairs to the top floor, but not a big deal for us.

Such an amazing 3 nights here, a stunning property with beautiful grounds and views! It is also a very safe location for solo / female travelers with gated access to the property. Breakfast was amazing every morning and the host and his family went above and beyond to be as helpful as possible for our stay! Great value for a magical stay! Would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone staying in the sorrento area. Piano di sorrento is such a beautiful location, I would recommend staying here instead of in sorrento itself (only 4 minutes away on a very regular train). Thank you for an amazing stay!

Everything! Genaro and his family are the most kind, generous, and caring hosts you could dream of staying with. Breakfast was phenomenal. Nonna makes beautiful cakes and jam, and it was a pleasant surprise to be offered an omelette for breakfast (one of us doesn't have much of a sweet tooth). Genaro welcomed us so warmly, and gave us plenty of excellent advice to enjoy the area according to what we wanted out of our days there. He has so many ideas, so definitely ask him when you go. The town is quiet, clean, and welcoming. The setting is beautiful, the gardens are lush and green - for two amateur veg growers it was great to see the pumpkins, grapes and tomatoes growing. A wonderfully maintained 200 year old property, with a few modern conveniences for guests' comfort (excellent air con, fridge in room etc.). A real gem of a place and not to be missed if you're looking for Sorrento location without the crowds or the massive price tag. The nearby train station means you're only 10 minutes and under €2 from the centre of Sorrento. Or rent a scooter (Ginaro will help you) and take yourself there in 10 mins.

The building and gardens are stunning. Really convenient location for circumvesuviana trains. Breakfast was delicious with lovely croissants and fig and orange jams made from the garden produce. Hosting and reception were very helpful and friendly.

A couple of minor maintenance issues in the bathroom of blue 6. Toilet seat needed to be tightened and the overhead shower didn't work (the handheld bit was fine). The lack of sound proofing between rooms could become an issue if the building was busy. Our bed backed onto the toilet of the room next door and this was quite intrusive but not enough to spoil our stay.

An impressive old building with some beautiful features. We loved the approach through the garden full of lemons and oranges. The spiral staircase is a dramatic feature. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You were able to choose what you wanted for breakfast. The delicious jams and juice had all been home made from their oranges, figs etc. The owner also planned a menu for us to have an evening meal. All local specialities and very good, with wine and limoncello!

It would have been nice to have had a view from the bedroom though that is probably possible from different rooms. You have to be prepared to climb the spiral staircase as accommodation is all on the second floor. Be aware that you have to walk to the house, from a public carpark, down a short narrow passage . This is very typical of the area.

Our group of 6 absolutely loved our stay here it was a wonderful experience. The area Piano is really nice and close to delicious pizza and the train to get to nearby suburbs and Sorrento. The accommodation is very special at the Secret Garden it feels like a little oasis. The friendly care from the host is wonderful and so are the homemade breakfasts on the terrace. We felt so welcome and looked after, we would stay here again 100%.

The location of the hotel is unusual, and to reach it, you have to arrange to meet a member of the family outside and then walk through some lovely vegetable gardens. The building is interesting, the rooms very lovely, and the family members were very nice. The kind of people that you like to treat as friends. We even chatted in basic Italian with the young daughter of one of the family on the roof terrace, whilst drinking beer and playing with their Dachshund. The breakfast was wonderful, and the whole stay was very relaxed and stress-free.

This is not just an hotel, it is a full sorrento experience to its best. A family reception, a warm hospitality, hone made local gridiands breakfast, wild fruit garden, clean rooms and best location. It's not a 5 stars hotel but 5 stars experience.

Those who are looking for fensy, new and advanced technology facilities might not enjoy the 200 years old building and the natural wild garden.

The spaciousness of the rooms, extremely friendly and hospitable family running the B&B. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The breakfast was enjoyable - great omelets, croissants and music playing in the background. Throughout our trip, they all went the extra mile and provided great recommendations. It was a 7 minute walk from the train station in a beautiful, charming neighborhood.
