This place is just wonderful. Having rented 2 rooms for our family with 17 years old dauther, we had an absolute privacy like you live in a separate apartment, but still having all the services as in a hotel. The rooms are situated on different levels and open from the stairs, so you feel absolute privacy. The private beaches are accessible just in a few minutes walk, there is a sand beach and a few solariums, you can reach them without having to walk down and up stairs. We had car trip along the Amalfi coast, and discovered that most of the beaches are situated far down the rock, are small and crowdy. So we felt again that we found the best location for our holidays! There is a private parking just 50 meters from the hotel, which is important if you are travelling by car, and looked quite difficult at many other places along the coast. Antonio and Anna are very nice and friendly people. Antionio gave us good advices for our planned trips to Pompei, told about the fireworks at Sorrento (just a few minutes by car) in the coming night, and also helped renting a boat to sail to Capri. Anna served figs from her own garden for our breakfasts, they were really delicious! Highly recommend this place.

Perfect seaside stay in a small quiet harbour only a 15-minute vespa ride from downtown Sorrento. Antonio and Anna are the husband and wife team that run this amazing B&B; both are very friendly and were able to help with many local recommendations. Breakfast each morning was delightful and I had the best seafood risotto of my life at the restaurant! Boat trips leave the harbour a 1-minute walk away making it very convenient for day trips away from Sorrento. Short elevator ride above gives a beautiful sunset view over The Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius can be seen in the distance. Hourly shuttles are available from the harbour to take you straight to the train station in Piano di Sorrento (2 stops into Sorrento). The B&B's restaurant and famous Tik Tok restaurant Pizzeria Vincenzo Capuano are always full of people. There is also a gelato shop and few other restaurants also at the bottom of the harbour. There is a small free beach at the end of the road which provides a perfect end to each evening
A refrigerator in the room would be a nice small addition to keeping drinks cold and at the ready instead of always having to go out and buy one.

On first arriving at L'Approdo I was in shock. On a map it looked close to several things, but in reality it was quite isolated. After being there for the good part of a day, my mind was changed totally. Though hard to access and a little out of the way, this little gem was delightful. The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony overlooking the marina. The outdoor dining area was right beside the marina and offered a great view of all the activities and comings and goings. The breakfasts were excellent with a variety of offerings. We also ate all of our dinners here as they kept being excellent. Anna and Tony were very helpful. We grabbed a boat to the Amalfi Coast right at the marina, and a shuttle and train into Sorrento took us 40 minutes. At the end of our stay we were stuck due to a shuttle not appearing so Anna grabbed her car and ran us up to the train station.
Shuttle must be dependable.

Tony (the owner) goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. He helped us book a taxi (45 euros to go to Sorrento) for 7 am the next day when we arrived at 9 pm the night before. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, delicious croissants, coffee and juice. You can dine there for other meals if you'd like. The view from the room was beautiful. The balcony was really nice. The room itself was massive, way bigger than I realized. Helpful things to know: There is an escalator from the beachfront up to the top that you can take for 1 euro. We took that and walked about 10-15 minutes each day to get to the train. The train runs about every 30 minutes and does not run on schedule. Piano is a nice, quiet little town with a few places to eat and snack.
It was a little loud in our room due to the location of it to the street and the kitchen, but the AC unit helped drown it out. Breakfast would be really great if there were hardboiled eggs or something a little heavier than just croissants, but the croissants were really good:) Also, as an FYI- on this site it says checkout is at 11 am but it's actually at 10.

Location was fabulous. We loved the restaurant on the seafront. The breakfast was one of the nicest we ever had and we looked forward to it every morning. We also ate in the restaurant at night and the food was exquisite. The hosts were friendly and helpful and advised us on trips, town etc. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and very pretty. Overall it was a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing Room, wonderful hosts, great restaurant, and the most peaceful, tranquil setting away from the crowds of tourists. Very convenient location … you walk the equivalent of a block to the ticket office and can catch a ferry to spend the day at (departs Marina at 8:30am) or tour the Amalfi Coast (departs at 9:30am). Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Each evening, we were exhausted from touring, so walked across the street to the owners restaurant and feasted on Seafood Ravioli, Spaghetti Vongole (clams) and pizza. Everything was made fresh, and reasonably priced. This is also where you stop in each morning for a wonderful breakfast of sweet croissants, muffins, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, tea / Coffee, etc, that comes with the room. You can take an elevator from Sorrento down to the Marina for 1Euro per person, which is well worth it. We want to thank our most gracious, kind hosts, Ana and Tony who made us feel so welcomed, and gave us all the information we needed for boating excursions. They are the best.

The space of the appartement is great. The location is excellent to take boattrips to Capri, Amalfi, Positano and Naples. Piano di Sorrento easily reachable by bus. Piano is a usefull town for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast with a large croissant, sweet cakes and fruit were lovely, but after 3 days we wouldn’t have mind something different. The restaurant l’Approdo was very good. Anna and Toni were great hosts, always around to ask questions to. Everything in the harbour is on walking distance. The appartement was very spacious, light and very clean.
In the appartement there were a kettle, 2 cups and one little spoon, but water only in the bathroom. (The large kitchen was not supposed to be used because it is a B&B.) No other utensils and no glasses. We would have liked some useful inormation on paper, although Tony told us everything we needed to know, but so much info is difficult to take in. We have enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it definitely for a few days.

Our family spent 3 nights in August this hotel as the location suited our plans to visit Capri and Sorrento but within a quiet and idilic surrounding. Once you manage to drive around the winding serpentine roads to get there (but with the most beautiful views of the beach and port) we felt as we were in a truly unique Italian village, not only with friendly neighbours but also authentic and great food. We had dinner every night in the hotel restaurant which is not only convenient due to the location but also very popular with the marina boats, they are very accommodating with timings but worth booking in advance. There is a convenient car park nearby which gets very busy during "beach hours" so early arrival is recommended, probably better to leave the car there and use the elevator to get into town. Overall the views from the hotel, the convenience of the port, the gelato shop nearby and the friendly restaurant and hotel staff made our visit very memorable and well appreciated.
Access road in and out of the area is difficult to negotiate with any 4 wheel vehicle. Usually jam packed car park and in the middle of the serpentine access road!

We stayed at L’Approdo and honestly, it exceeded our expectations! The photos online do not do this beautiful B&B justice! It’s right on Piano Di Sorrento harbour with gorgeous views from the room, and the restaurant downstairs has the most amazing continental breakfast spread, and serves delicious meals too. The area is so peaceful but still really well connected to Sorrento, and you can get boat tours to Positano and Capri in the harbour. The hosts are so friendly and helpful too, making us feel so welcome. Honestly a hidden gem ✨🇮🇹

A hidden gem nestled in a beautiful cove with locals. Our room was clean, tidy and well kept throughout our stay. Tonino and his wife went above and beyond to assist us with getting around. We booked a boat trip which was meant to depart from Sorrento but Tonino organised for the boat to pick us up from the port in front of our accomodation, saving us a train down to Sorrento in the morning! We also had a mishap with the petrol station overcharging our card when we hired a vesper and Tonino offered to drive us down to the station to communicate with the staff in Italian on our behalf. We had not felt as welcomed as we did during our stay here and everything about the accomodation from the breakfast, view and comfort was perfect.
Nothing! Be prepared to walk, when you get to the top of the cliff there is an elevator about 200m down the road which we would definitely recommend if you have luggage!
