I booked online and we were expected and greeted well by the owners booked in and made a reservation for dinner (there was homemade pasta and pizza oven in the restaurant) dinner was great and so was the breakfast

The dinner and the breakfast were very nice, most of the food is home made (fresh pasta, cakes, etc.). We also enjoyed drinking something outside in the evening, since they have a nice porch and a good selection of beers.

We were four people in the room and it was small enough that another bed could not fit, but we still enjoyed our sleep and the price was adequate to the situation.

We had a brilliant stay after a long Day 2 stage of VDD. The vibe at Poli is excellent - intermingling of locals and hikers. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Pizzas in the restaurant are superb. The room is comfy and had everything we needed (including a heated towel rail!). Highly recommend! In a beautiful town too. Would stay again.

Lovely staff; clean room; great price for value; by default, they also reserve a table for dinner in their restaurant (you do not have to eat in their restaurant, but if you want to, you already got a table -> nice!); staff speaks english

Minor points for improvement: - Unfortunately there is not a single wall hook in the room. - Refillable toiletries would produce less waste.

Loved this place. Basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Quiet room, good shower, and the restaurant is fantastic. It's on the route of Via Degli Dei so it's perfectly situated, and there are grocery shops either side. Staff are lovely and they provided lots of gluten free options.

We loved this hotel and restaurant!! The lady that checked us in was lovely! We ask for an electric fan for the room and they got one straight away for us! It was like been in a family home. We had tea and breakfast at the hotel and they were great. The value for money we can’t even believe it. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed for longer!! We have a great view from our window!

The room was on the small side for 4 beds and 4 people. The only negative we have!

Breakfast was excellent with cakes and pastry homemade and a wide choice of " commercial" ones. Their internal restaurant was amazing. They serve local food and they have their pizza oven inside ( they use wood). A broad selection of local wine. It is an experience to do.

We stayed for one night while walking the Via Degli Dei from Bologna to Florence. Everything was fantastic - a comfortable room with a good shower, and a nice restaurant on site. Hosts were warm and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay!

The rooms are very new looking and clean. Perfect for any doing the Via degli dei as the property is along the trail. Great restaurant and breakfast. A must stop if doing the trail walk.

The staff were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathrooms were spotlessly clean. It was very comfortable and quiet. The lunch, dinner, and breakfast served were excellent.
