From start to finish we both enjoyed our stay at Green Garden. All communication was quick as our plane was delayed so we didn't land until late. We arrived at about 10:30 pm and the owner was waiting for us. Great safe place to park our hire car. Only 10 min walk to Pompei and supermarket with a Pizza restaurant next to it but that's all they did no pasta. The place was spotlessly clean with a great covered area to eat or have Breakfast. We sat there every night and had a few drink's, The owner kept herself to herself but was there to hand if needed. one night she came out and reluctantly sat with us and I asked about Limoncello she the came out with her husband and some home made wine and other spirit's they make themselves and I was a bit wobbly when it was time for bed lol, it was great to interact with them both using Google translate as we don't speak Italian. The garden around the back was amazing you would not think you were at a B & B it was like a small hotel garden with lots of seating, hammock's and another covered dining area. We did not use it as I always get bit to death on every holiday as lots of plants attracting mosquitoes using me as a buffet . Breakfast was good even with homemade cake which was a treat. We had the room with just a microwave and utensils but no kettle but we always take our own, it was ok for basic cooking, the other had a full kitchen, which now I wish I asked for as we stayed for 1 week and got a bit fed up of Pizza as it was hard to find Pasta on in a lot of restaurants. The owners take great pride in this B & B and she was lovely person to try and get to know and took great care of us. We all had a big hug when we left. Thanks you to them for making our stay memorable and treating us like family as some B & B are a bit impersonal.

The only thing which is very minor was no EU plug socket next to the bed to charge our phone as we use them as a clock so no concept of time as the room is nice and dark.

Our stay at the Green Garden was an absolute delight, making our visit to the nearby Pompeii Museum even more memorable. From the moment we arrived, the owner demonstrated unparalleled hospitality, ranking as perhaps the kindest we've encountered during our travels across Italy. He was not only pleasant but also incredibly helpful, providing us with all the necessary information and support to make our stay comfortable. The location of Green Garden is perfect for anyone planning to visit the Pompeii Museum, as it's just a short distance away. This convenience allowed us to maximize our time at the museum without worrying about long commutes. One of the most pleasant surprises was the included breakfast, which was both delicious and convenient, fueling us for the day ahead. However, the true highlight of Green Garden is undoubtedly its namesake garden. Despite the surrounding area being quite barren and treeless, the garden at the property is a lush, vibrant oasis that feels almost magical, especially in the heat of July. It provided a cool, tranquil spot to relax and rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, the care and honesty of the staff were proven when my daughter forgot her phone at the property. They promptly contacted us and safely kept the phone until we could return to pick it up after our museum visit. This act of kindness was greatly appreciated and not something you can find just anywhere. I can confidently say that if I ever return to Pompeii, Green Garden will undoubtedly be my accommodation of choice again. Their exceptional service, ideal location, and the serene environment they've created are worth every praise

No negative comments here—just a wholehearted recommendation for anyone visiting the area.

This is a good location for exploring Pompeii. Note that one of the two roads from the main street past the ruins is now closed at the railroad to cars (still open to pedestrians). It is quiet, away from the crowds, in an agricultural area about a 20 min walk from the entrance to the ruins. Good WiFi. We also stayed here in 2019. Breakfast is good. The host's English is minimal, but there were good instructions in the room and we were able to communicate. Free, secure parking is available. Price is exceptional for the value. It is close to a large grocery on the main road. That saved us money as we did not have to dine out during our stay.

We had no issues

The properties is well located for visiting Pompeii Ruin, it is within 15 minutes walk to the main entrance. The properties provides everything you need to stay for visiting Pompeii. We met the owner upon our arrival, he gave us a brief advice on the facilities and direction to the Pompeii Ruin. The lady servicing us the breakfast is very helpful and attentive even she doesn't speak any English. This properties can provide car park behind the gate, it is very safe to leave your car here and visit Pompeii Ruin.

The properties is next to road, you can hear the traffic noise especially when it is very quiet. The properties is very strict on the check-out time which is specify in the booking is 10:30am, as we a bit rush on the day we leave as we have arrange to pay the City Tax to the lady who can't English. However the properties operator replied our trhought Whatsapp that the check-out time is 10:30am as specified. Finally, we arranged ourself to leave the properties before 10:30am. Therefore, for those used to wake up late, you shall note this point.

The room had all the amenities for staying comfortably- microwave, clean towels and bedding, shampoo, and tea to drink in the evening. Our family of two adults and two kids stayed there for 2 nights, and we loved the breakfast of delicious coffee, home-grown oranges, and (packaged) croissants and breads, along with the amazing cake I assume our host baked. The road nearby might be a bit noisy, but we did not notice it at all when we were asleep with the windows closed. Very conveniently located to Pompeii ruins (and the delicious Caupona Restaurant!). This was the best, most relaxing place we stayed on our one week trip in Italy!

If only the weather had been nicer, we might have been able to eat out in the enclosed garden area. ; )

This was a great stay and memorable. The unit was spotless clean. The maid lives in same location on a unit beside across the small cozy yard. The unit has a kitchen area with dining table and 4 chairs, oven, sick, dishes, cups, everything you may need to cook. But is shame to cook, because Popmei has the best pizzas in whole Italy, so you better eat pizza every meal on a cornerhood pizzareia. (the less fancy and smaller they are, their pizzas are yummier, staff friendlier, prices better, as in bigger places they may charge you up to 2 or 3 or 4 Euro for Cover (service at table). The host or owner was super respondent on whatsapp and almost round the clock available to guide or provide additional information you may need. We just walked (10 minutes) from Pompeii train station (using Google GPS). The lady maid is a very kind lady like a grand Ma! She bring your breakfast (and it is very generous in Italian standards) to your unit. She surprised us both morning with lots of fresh garden picked oranges and tangerins, and the host was also very honest as they didnt charge us city tax on the 14 years old child (saying that in pompei it is free of tax for under 14, while in other Italian cities they charge up to 6 Euro per night for any age) From the place to pompei ruin site is just 10 to 12 minutes walk.

Nothing bad about the unit itself. The only issue is that if you choose like us to walk to the green garden (and save the taxi), you must be very careful at certain parts of the route, as it becomes very curvy and narrow and the passing cars could literally hit you. especially at night.

Bed and breakfast, the best breakfast of my travelling around the South of Italië with real coffee, cake, fruits from the garden. A lovely older lady was my host, she only speaks Italian but her hospitality is amazing! The garden is a delight full of citrus trees. Only a 15 minute walk to the Archeological Parks Porta Marina and the train station.

The house is next to a road , so you hear cars, but that is sort of normal, isn't it...

lovely host (Angela) who served her own organically grown fruit from the property for breakfast. Coffee served with warm milk in the garden! a real paradise in a hot, dry, small neighbourhood. less than 15 minute walk to Pompei or Pompei Scavi train stations. 5 minute walk to the super market. I highly reckoned this great value!

the surrounding neighborhood was a bit sad but still a good location. (I didn't feel unsafe as a solo female traveller).

Very good value for money - very nice, large self-contained flat with it's own kitchen. The lady who greeted me couldn't speak a word of English (and why should she) but she was lovely. I was Whatsapped before arrival by a very friendly member of staff who could speak good English who said anything I needed I could just contact him - but I didn't need to as everything was great with my two night stay. Breakfast was brought in the morning at a time of my choosing.

The breakfast wasn't much to shout about, it was a bit sugary, but I wasn't too fussed. The area felt a bit strange walking to and from the accommodation, there was a lot of waste ground everywhere, but I didn't encounter any problems.

Very nice accommodation. We loved free and secured parking that offered. Tasty breakfast with local fruits from the garden, as on the pictures. Very nice hostess, tried to make our stay very comfortable. Old lady met us even thought our flight was late and we arrived about 23. Very clean, comfortable and clean beds, clean shower. The accommodation has very beautiful back garden - recommended. It's not the center of the city, but with walking distance from the archeological Pompeii site - about 15 minutes.

Our hostess didn't speak English, only Italian. Except it everything was wonderful.
